Moving our hot tub was not going to be easy and we knew it. So much so that we originally found only one company recommended by a hot tub retailer that would take on the project. We also knew their bid was wayyyy too high but with little option we scheduled the move. They put it off because of weather, then they had too many employees with the flu. Finally, after 2 months they said they just didn't want to do it. We then found NW Specialty Moving. They agreed to do the job without hesitation, and for a very fair price. They were on time, very careful with the tub, the deck, and the surrounding landscape. Can't believe I never left feedback for these guys before! Seems they almost don't need it with so many 5 star reviews, but they are beyond awesome. They were the only people who agreed to not only pick up my crated and palletized items from the airport, but also break down the crate and pallets and items within and help me get everything situated in my office. Other people said heck no and would only leave the crate in the parking lot. These guys said yes immediately and only charged a modest extra fee to help breakdown and set items up inside. As others have said they are super friendly and professional. I rarely see people who are as good at their job as these guys are. I even had them come out a second time to move some very heavy items around my office and they only charged a small fee to do this and come back to help me even though their minimums are usually much higher. Started talking to John months before the move of my new custom aquarium. Very easy to schedule and even change due to a delay. All I needed was the tank to be moved from my garage, up 2 flights of stairs into the living room. Easy right... 622lbs worth of glass. These guys did it. I was hurting just watching them! Then they maneuvered it around a support post and placed it on the stand 3' high. Tank was fully intact not a scratch. Aside from a few drops of sweat, a job done well. They even helped me put the storm door back on that we had to take off. Both guys eager to help with any little tasks before and after. Couldn't get any better! We had an oversized couch and two chairs that we could not get up the stairs to our third floor. We removed the windows and had several companies come to take a look and nobody wanted to take it on. Called Reliable Relocation! John came out and said it could be done with a crane (besides coming up with a few more creative ideas). We liked what he had to say and could tell that he obviously had a lot of experience. Went with the crane and the whole job was done in 30mins. I needed a 7ft hot tub shipped from SW Raleigh Hills to the 'Couve. I had one mover that wanted a from filled out and pictures of the pick-up and devlivery site before even producing a quote. Other movers quoted high base prices and clearly stated it may go up for any number of reasons. And my least favorite.."We can do it in a week or two." After contacting several movers and this was by far the easiest, well-priced and fastest of them all. The movers sent me a text with a locator app so I could watch the progress of the hot tub as it travelled through Porland. It made it incredibly easy for me to meet them at the delivery site in a timely manner. I LOVE technology. The hot tub was delivered in great condition and put into place in minutes. Mark was so helpful. We weren't sure what we wanted and he spent time outside showing us the different sheds. He went over the estimates with and we decided on the one we wanted. We had to make one change and he updated that and sent us the paperwork. We ordered and paid and got our date for delivery. The shed builders were on time and got the shed up before the end of the day. We are very happy with the shed. The shed according to our HOA required cedar shingles that are exactly like our house siding. We had those done by contractor. It looks great. Very happy with the entire sale. Absolutely the best moving service anywhere! Two big, strong, intelligent, polite, concientious, hard-working, and great guys moved our 700 pound Sub-zero Refrigerator into our house. But first, they picked it up at the storage place in Portland, drove all the way to The Dalles, up steps and into our kitchen. They changed their schedule to accomodate my husband's schedule, they were on-time, worked together brilliantly (comes with 17 years of experience), hauled away our old giant refrigerator and everything clean and perfect. I had a new range that was super questionable in terms of fitting it up my interior stairway into my kitchen. Just didn't want to risk damage to the new wood floors and stairs, and so I sent the delivery guys away and left the range in the garage. They set up the crane, showed up on time, coordinated the whole crane-over-the-house, range into the kitchen move, without a hitch. I agree with the others. We had an excellent experience. I had them move a really bulky, heavy 700 lb. safe up 2 sets of stairs. The safe barely fit in a few places but they still made it work - and without messing up any of my floors or hitting any walls. They were very polite, very careful and went the extra mile. Price was the best I found. And the invoice was actually LESS than I was expecting, given what they estimated and also that I added another job onto it, that I hadn't told them about (carrying the old safe downstairs to the garage). The company has changed their name to NW Specialty Moving, as they don't really do general moving any longer. They do specialty items like Gun Safes, Hot Tubs and Pianos. Very hard working guys. I ordered a hot tub from Costco and they only do curbside delivery. So I needed to find someone to move the hot tub from our driveway to the backyard deck. I was told by Costco the shipping company would call me at least a week before so I'd have time to hire movers for this job. They DID NOT! Two of the nicest young men showed up and completed this very difficult move without even a scratch. Watching them work I risked asking them to move a couple of other heavy pieces from the third floor. For an additional but very reasonable fee they moved it all! Two weeks later it was time to move the same piano and other stuff into my new home. What I loved about these guys is they were on time, they communicated their eta to me, told me up front how much it would cost and followed through. It's difficult to describe how these guys work, but it is like an orchestra. They talk their way through it and then when it is complete it was like nothing happened. These are seasoned professionals who have worked together for years. It shows. My Sub-Zero needed moving so I could seal up an access area that mice had discovered. The move went well, the access points were sealed up and the sub zero was re-positioned in the cabinet space with little difficulty. They not only did it; they removed the chain link fence that the previous owners didn't want to remove until they knew the hot tub could be taken out (we thought it might have to be crane lifted out from behind the house).
