This place more than exceeded expectations. Not only is the food amazing, the service is right on par with the food. We had a bun that was a little over toasted and they promptly replaced whole burger quickly are without hesitation or issue. Made me feel more than comfortable especially being so far from home. My teen and I have been on a road trip all the way from Miami, Fl, and have been trying hamburger joints in nearly every city we have visited. This place served one of the best hamburgers we have tried. Service is super quick and efficient. We loved how you don't have to tell them what you want or not want in your burger; they will automatically ask and make it to your liking. I believe this must be a mom+pop establishment as the wife(?) waited on each table repeatedly and attentively asking if anything was needed. So having the best of all three not only makes MOOYAH a routine stop, but a place I constantly recommend to family, friends, coworkers, and even strangers. The quality of food and service is consistently better than you'll find elsewhere. The first time I ate at this restaurant Rico, the manager, introduced himself and made sure I had a good experience. It's rare to see a manager work so hard and I can tell it has an effect on the entire staff. Having worked in the service industry, I like to think I can spot genuine drive to be the best and that's what I see every time I walk in and see this team at work. But you are reading this to know if the food is good. Yes. It is. So. Good. I remember when I first ate here thinking "this is how it should". So many places make burgers and fries. I really liked this place, and I would consider myself a burger guy. Probably the best if not one of the best fast food burgers I have ever had. The meat was cooked well, juicy and good quality. I was impressed by the variety and customizations available. I also appreciated having the lettuce wrap option available for any of the options since I'm on the Keto diet. Good enough burgers. They are trying really hard to be like or better than 5 guys. I definitely didn't like the half cut into the burger patty. Isn't that like a grilling no-no? For one it just made the burger fall apart. Also my bread could have been toasted better. The fries are pretty good thou, probably because they are freshly made. This is my favorite burger place in town. The food is consistently excellent, the staff is fun, kind and well-trained. I actually prefer this place over The Burger Dive, mostly because I think Mooyah prepares better fries. The owner is often there, working the register, delivering the food to tables or just pitching in, doing whatever is needed, and he has a superb track record in the restaurant industry and it shows throughout every aspect of this establishment. Not quite a 5 Guys but close enough. Burgers are good, they seem to be stingy with the fries...which is a shame. Not being able to verbalize your order is annoying, also when ordering the same exact burger 4 times you NEED to fill out 4 cards?! I gave her one card and asked her to give me 4 of those...I was instantly chastised and "Educated" that they need 4 separate cards...what a waste of paper in a more recyclable conscious society. read more

I love this place. We are always on the lookout for grab-and-go food -- somewhere that our healthy, gluten free eaters *and* our burger-loving son can all find something we like and can eat. Enter: Mooyahs! That burger-loving son is somewhat a burger snob, too. He likes true burgers, nothing fancy, but must be awesome. He loved the Mooyah burger, and we loved the turkey burger "on ice" (where they use iceburg lettuce for the bun -- perfect for the gluten free crowd). We were also THRILLED to see sweet potato fries. If you know Austin, TX food -- our son liked the Mooyah burger even more than P Terry's! Wow!! This is huge. The service was great, too. Kind, helpful, and "the customer is king" kind of attitude. First time eating here and it was very good. I would say it's as close to a 5 Guys as you can get. I had the Mooyah sauce on my burger and it was great. I ordered the regular combo so small fries and drink. I believe they serve the burger with a few less fries than the same combo at 5 Guys but plenty to eat either way. Nice selection of drinks and the sweet tea was very good. My kids had shakes and by how fast they sucked them down I would say the shakes are good. The service was very friendly and helpful and we didn't wait but a couple minutes for all our food and we had 4 in the group. Cool atmosphere, clean and played cool music because my kids sang along to all the songs. I would recommend this place for a good burger. read more

The fries have bits of yummy skins and taste like they're made from the boxes of fresh potatoes next to the door. The decor is kind of 60s retro with retro music on their "Mooya Radio." It was good! I really like the atmosphere and the shakes are really good.

I've now had the cheddar bacon burger twice and both times, it's been delicious. My wife gets the regular cheeseburger and thinks it is great as well. Fries are also very good. Very clean place and the staff are all super nice and helpful. Just wish we didn't have to drive 190 miles to eat there. Next trip to Billings will find us eating here again. read more
