    Meatball sandwich

Unassuming spot that is great for lunch. It's fast food but doesn't feel like it. It's welcoming but efficient. Great alternative to the chain sandwich shops in the area. Sandwiches are served on soft ciabatta bread. They don't skimp on portions. They also have build your own pasta where you choose the pasta and the sauce.

    Cheese bread is so good.

I've been to More than Pasta a few times now and it's definitely a treasure in Park Ridge. Where do I start. THE BREAD. You guys. The bread is so good. I ordered the cheesy breadsticks and marinara and boy, they are cheesy. Tons of cheese melted on fresh, soft and buttery ciabatta slices. It can't get any better than that. These are actually quite filling on their own, but make delicious left overs. I've tried the rigatoni with vodka sauce once and it was good. I really enjoyed the sauce. I think the noodles were a bit thick/dense and heavy and had a slight flour taste. I only had the rigatoni once so can't comment if this was an off day or not, but I still liked the dish and ate it for three meals - yes, the portion is that generous. The second time I had fettuccine noodles with marinara sauce. I think I added spinach too. Wow! This time the pasta was amazing! Probably one of the best fettuccine I've had. Sauce was delicious and I cannot wait to have this one again. Now the star of the show is the CHICKEN PARMESAN sandwich. The ciabatta is amazing. You can smell fresh baked bread with every bite you take. It's warm and pillowy soft and the chicken is pounded thin and tender and the tomato sauce and cheese.. it's just so good. Not to mention it's huge. It's a great one to share with a salad or pasta, that is, if you're willing to part with the other half of your sandwich. The chicken pesto sandwich is also very good, but the chicken parm is #1 for me. If I ate pasta more, I would probably be eating here at least once a week. Lastly, prices are great for the portion you get. Try it!

Seating is tight in this eatery. There's loud music playing, a peeve of mine. I want to hear myself think or carry on a conversation without shouting. Prices are good. You pick your sauce and pick your pasta. Staff not the friendliest but not rude either. I got marinara rigatoni with mini meatballs, she got vodka sauce risotto. Both dishes were fresh and tasty and we got large portions. It was $30 for two meals and water, a decent value. Four and a half stars for value, four stars for the food, and three stars for the service, minus four and a half points for the music volume. Make it three and a half total.

I am pretty glad I stumbled upon this restaurant. I was out and about on a Saturday and wanted to have a quick meal that wouldn't break the bank. I decided to come here as the thought of homemade pasta sounded delightful. I ordered the mini meatballs with marinara and veggie marinara. Both were delicious! You can tell the pasta is homemade the moment you bite into it as it truly feels like you're in Italy. The food came out fast and also included a piece of bread. I asked for olive oil on the side for dipping. The employee who took our order was very kind. I really appreciated this cute little pasta shop. I highly recommend for anyone craving some authentic italian food!

Quick service. Tried both the risotto and the homemade pasta. The creamy carbonara was delicious. Nice option if you want a quick bite!

I was visiting Chicago and just landed and made it to my hotel. I was hungry to say the least, so opened up uber eats and saw this almost 5 star pasta place. I ordered the pasta with beef and it was so yummy. Hearty and flavourful, the 2 things I look for when eating pasta. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because they do not offer gluten free pasta or alternative pasta options from gluten pasta.

Your pasta made to order. Form the rigatoni or fettuccini to the variety of sauces you can choose from. Pasta perfection. Mwah! I chose fettuccini with pesto sauce, and added green peas and mushrooms. No meat. But I could have chosen pancetta, shrimp, chicken, sausage, beef, prosciutto, but I had a hankering for a herb-y and meatless pasta. Love, love, love. My daughter chose rigatoni, with vodka sauce, and added chicken. I had a taste of it and I must say it was wonderful! My other daughter chose rigatoni in vodka sauce, with shrimp, sausage and mushrooms. Decadent! Highly satisfying comfort food :-) My tummy left happy.

Chicken parm sandwhich it was huge. Chicken was great, juicy not dry. Sauce was perfect nothing extraordinary. The focaccia bread was delicious and finished the sandwhich up well! I'd definitely recommend. Brought the second half to work next day for lunch and was satisfied for entire shift! My girlfriend got the vodka fettuccine pasta and she enjoyed it, also finished the rest the next day for lunch. Can say staff was just a little bit rude, when I asked for a fork. It was left on the table by the entrance, but from where we sat it looked like a coffee mixing stick

I tried the chicken parm sandwich made with organic chicken and focaccia bread. I truly enjoyed everything about the sandwich! The bread was the best part.

Tried More than Pasta today. Interesting concept. Small restaurant in a relatively busy area of Park Ridge. Restaurant has a number of tables inside. They have a menu where you can choose Rigatoni vs. Fettuccini for the base pasta, and then they have a number of sauces to choose from, as well as other dishes including sandwiches, cheese bread, etc - I picked the Rigatoni with Ragu. Not bad. Very fresh, it was literally steaming hot. The ragu wasn't a ton but overall the dish was good and pretty tasty. I also tried the cheese bread - it was different than I thought it would be - it was bread with melted cheese on top. Pricing was average - $14.99 for the pasta dish. Restaurant was clean. Staff was reasonable. Parking is mostly street parking in front of the restaurant. Overall I think it's a place worth trying!

It came as a great recommendation! We didn't have it for a while since we live the low-carb life but were thrilled to learn they do a "sub in a tub". I love their tuna salad/sub. I like that they don't have onions at the deli so it doesn't overpower everything else. My husband typically loves the club. They rolled a generous amount into a container and I used scissors to quickly and easily cut it. It was a perfect lunch and I have enough for another tomorrow! Decor pays homage to its hometown and old school pizzaria vibe. There's one side specifically for togo/online pick up. Restrooms are clean and there are plenty of parking. We noticed some people just sitting on their tables playing with their phones like they were done eating...and then it dawned on us that they were waiting for their 45 mins. pizza. SMH CUSTOMER SERVICE: We were greeted and seated immediatedly. Our server was very nice and she answered all of our questions...I just wished she asked what pizza we wanted first because the last thing she told us after we took our drink order and everything else is that the pizza will take 45 minutes to cook! Which in my mind sounds like a gimmick for us to buy more food while we wait but we were super hungry anyway so it was not an issue for us that day. Anyway, she saw couldn't decide what pizza to get so she suggested we can order half and half! Success! Then, when our pizza finally arrived, our pizza server (a sweet Filipina) insisted on serving our pizza to demonstrate the dramactic cheese pull..and which I appreciated that she indulged me on doing it again for an insta boomering...success! FOOD We ordered the a Chicago deep pizza ofcourse, 10 inch, half pepperoni and half the special. We added the sampler and calamari and house salad. The tomatoes on the bruschetta tasted so light and refreshing on top of the fresh mozarella and bread that even my son whom dislikes tomatoes devoured them. The fried mozarella on their marinari was bomb, same with the chicken nuggets. Now the calamari was completely unexpected. I thought it was just going to be a bunch of chewy rings...but instead it came with the tentacles and fried lemon (which are very bitter) and banana peppers. They were so good especially with a dollop of the marinara sauce. The house salad with the Giordano dressing was delicious. And they did not lie, that pizza arrived in about 45 minutes and by then we were feeling a bit stuffed. The pizza was as promised...it was thick, cheesey and stuffed with fat pieces of sausage and lots of pepperoni. I will probably hold off on the onions next time because there was a lot. Sad to say we had no room for dessert but we were very satisfied. Overall, this visit was an excellent in person experience. We've had a to-go order and a frozen one before but experiencing it in person and in Chicago made it extra special. Price point is pretty fair considering on the quality and amount of food you get. Perfect place to dine with groups of all sizes. May want to order ahead prior to getting to the restaurant, or take your time eating the appetizers to help pass time while you wait for your pizza. Just the two of us on a Monday night when many restaurants are closed, we arrived at our reservation time and were promptly seated. Each person who 'greeted' us had a big smile and a welcoming tone helping to set the mood in a positive way. Our server was Patrick who arrived once we were settled and we placed our drink order. My partner ordered a Mezzacorona Pinot Grigio, which she truly enjoyed, and for me, well, Jamesons is Jamesons and I'm always happy when my friend John Jameson joins me and especially when it's a healthy pour. As an appetizer we ordered the Grigliata Mista which hosts grilled Calamari, Octopus and Roasted Red Peppers with a Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. Check out the photos, it was like a meal onto itself. The chef has Octopus down to an art. Soft, melt in your mouth with a fabulous 'grilled' accent. The Calamari was also done perfectly. soft with Just the right crunch, not tough and I'm not sure I'll ever order any other of their Antipasti moving forward. A great start to the meal.
