Don't walk....Run to Moss Bros Volkswagen of Moreno Valley! They will make sure you leave with the vehicle you want at an Exceptional deal. My daughter & I were in a bad lease contract that left our contract upside down with lots of over mileage. We were desperately needing to get out of this deal because we thought the dealer who put us in this bad lease were looking out for returned customers that were loyal. In the end, Moss Bros VW worked there magic and got us out of those bad contracts. Into vehicles that we loved while purchasing them. The people who diligently made this happen for myself & daughter were David Ruiz(Sales person), Clarence Green(Sales person), Zack Mosely( Assistant Sales Manager), Mark( General Manager) & Ethaniel Baxter(Finance Manager) & team. The wonder person that referred me to this great group was Evette Madril Assistant Service Manager of Moss Bros VW of Moreno Valley. Moss Bros Volkswagen has gained my trust and will forever have a loyal returning customer. They made sure both myself & daughter left satisfied with our purchases. A Happy customer is a loyal customer for Life! :) Thanks again, Katrina & Katora

Both the manager and the sales rep assured me verbally and via text that there would be no add‑ons or markups, yet they refused to provide any pricing in writing. I even asked if I was first in line for the car and was told, "Yes, you'll be the first person we call when it arrives." When the car finally came in, I got a call right away. I told them I just needed to finish lunch, head home, and grab the car I planned to trade in. A few minutes later, the rep texted me urging me to hurry because "others were interested." I called back to confirm the car was still being held for me since I had a long drive. He assured me it was. When I arrived, I was immediately told another family was also there for the same car. It was incredibly awkward. The car pulled up, and the rep told me they would be test‑driving it first because they arrived before me. I didn't love it, but I figured it didn't matter since the car was supposed to be mine. Then things got worse. We sat down in an office right next to the other family, and I could clearly hear them going over numbers. I asked why they were discussing pricing if the car was supposed to be held for me. The rep said management decided they would sell the car to whoever gave them the better deal. That was the first bombshell. The second came when the manager joined us. Suddenly, all the "no add‑ons" promises disappeared. They piled on add‑ons left and right--including GAP insurance--even though I was putting $29k down from my trade‑in equity. This was, without question, the worst dealership experience I've ever had. The emotional frustration they put me and my family through was completely unacceptable. They may not lose any sleep over it, but I sincerely hope karma catches up with anyone who treats customers this way. Do yourself a favor: don't waste your time at this dealership. You can find better. I wanted to add, they all entered the next room as I was leaving with my family and started laughing.

ZERO IN EVERYTHING- SO, BEWARE OF MOSS BROS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM LOCATIONS (RIVERSIDE & MORENO…read moreVALLEY) I had an extremely frustrating and misleading experience at both Moss Bros Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram locations in Moreno Valley and Riverside. I was negotiating with Oscar Carreon at the Riverside location for a 2026 Jeep Wrangler (Stock #A62149). Despite repeatedly asking for confirmation of the final price, Oscar assured me that management had accepted my offer, although they wouldn't send the agreement in writing. Based on this, I drove to Riverside to complete the purchase. Upon arrival, I discovered the Jeep was not the Rubicon X I was negotiating for but a Rubicon with dealer-installed accessories. Despite this, I was willing to buy it for the negotiated $53,000 out-the-door price. However, when I mentioned my trade-in, a 2025 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1LT with the Z51 Spoiler, Fog Lights and exhaust Performance Package and under 10,000 miles, everything changed. I came in prepared with a CarMax offer of $60,000, a Carvana offer of $63,500, and Moss Bros' own online trade appraisal showing my Corvette was worth over $63,000. None of these were considered or even looked at or honored. After over an hour, the finance manager that has tattooed arms, comes up to us and started to sit down just to offer me $53,000 for my Corvette, the same as the Jeep's price, which was insulting. This valuation was $7,000 to over $10,000 less than every written valuation I had, including theirs. This wasn't my first bad experience with Moss Bros. At the Moreno Valley location, the same Jeep wasn't a Rubicon X, and they wanted an additional $6,000 for aftermarket wheels and tires and an unwanted alarm system. They also undervalued my Corvette at $57,000. Sales Manager/sales advisor Omar Contreras emailed me just a few days earlier, expressing a desire to be transparent and offering to match CarMax's trade-in value. I appreciated this but I decided to go to the riverside location because I thought I had made a good deal with Oscar, but my confidence waned after the Riverside experience. I had spent days negotiating, confirmed numbers multiple times, and brought documentation proving my trade's value. I was ready to sign but left feeling disrespected and insulted. No customer should feel the deal changes upon disclosing a trade-in. My advice to potential buyers at Moss Bros Riverside or Moss Bros. Moreno Valley is to get everything in writing, verify the VIN and trim level, bring competing trade-in offers, question dealer add-ons, and be prepared to walk away. I did just that, and Moss Bros lost a buyer ready to purchase immediately, along with my trust, future business, and recommendation. Stay away from these locations or ensure you have everything in writing.

Over the years, I've spent a significant amount of money because I've trusted this shop with my vehicle. During my most recent visit for an oil change and transmission flush, I noticed my check engine light was on, so I asked if they could diagnose the issue. I was told it would cost $250 for the diagnostic, although that fee would be applied toward the repair if I chose to have the work done there. As a long-time, loyal customer, I was hoping there might be some kind of courtesy or discount just to determine what the issue was. While I understand diagnostic work has value, it would be nice if Moss Bros. offered more appreciation for customers who have been coming back for years. I do want to mention that the gentleman who helped me was polite, professional, and provided excellent customer service. My concern isn't with the staff--it's with the company's customer loyalty policies. I hope Moss Bros. considers finding more ways to recognize and reward long-time customers.

Throughout the entire process, communication was extremely poor. I rarely received updates unless I repeatedly called the service department myself, sometimes 10 times a day, just to get someone to answer the phone. My service advisor was Andy, and every time I called, I was told he was somehow on a "2 hour lunch." Even after leaving multiple messages with my name and number, I almost never received a callback. The information I was being told by the dealership also constantly conflicted with what my warranty company was telling me. Andy repeatedly claimed my warranty company was refusing things or causing delays, but when I contacted my warranty directly, I was informed that the dealership was attempting to bill for charges or work that either was not approved or had not actually been completed. My warranty company specifically advised me that the dealership appeared to be attempting to double-charge or add unsupported labor costs. My warranty company even emailed me proof of the double charge. At one point, I was told I would need to pay an additional $300-$400 out of pocket for "labor" because supposedly my warranty would not cover it. When I asked for a clear explanation, nobody could properly explain why. The service manager simply stated that the warranty "wasn't paying them enough," which is not an acceptable explanation to charge a customer additional fees. The delays continued when it took several more days just to order my engine. Andy later promised my vehicle would be completed by the following Thursday. I explained to him multiple times that my rental coverage only lasted 5 days. Six days before my vehicle was finally completed, Andy called me and stated that "something else happened" with my vehicle and that it would take another 6 days to finish. He specifically told me the dealership would place me into a rental vehicle due to the inconvenience and also stated I would no longer have to pay the additional $300-$400 because of everything that had happened. After weeks of delays, lack of communication, conflicting information, and inconvenience, I finally picked up my vehicle yesterday around 2:30 PM, paid my warranty deductible, and left believing the matter was resolved. Today, I then received a phone call from Andy asking why I "didn't tell him" I already had a rental vehicle. I reminded him that I absolutely did tell him and had multiple conversations with him about my rental situation. Mind you he has been the one speaking to my warranty this past month and knows my warranty only allows 5 day rental!! He then told me I now needed to come back and pay for the additional 6-day rental. When I questioned how that made sense after what I had been told, he responded by saying, "Okay, we'll just take you to court," and then hung up on me. I immediately called and asked to speak with the service manager regarding both Andy's behavior and the overall handling of my vehicle. The service manager showed no concern or professionalism regarding the situation and simply told me he would "look into it" and call me back later. This has honestly been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with. The lack of communication, inconsistent information, unexplained charges, delays, and unprofessional behavior were completely unacceptable. I would never bring my vehicle back here again, and I would strongly caution others before trusting this dealership with their vehicle or warranty repairs.
