The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with great appliances, cookware, and utensils, which made cooking for a large group so easy. The sunsets were incredible for our photos, and it felt like the farm had a new surprise waiting for us every few hours. We fed the animals, made papas con huevos with fresh farm eggs, picked herbs from the garden, and even took home avocados plucked straight from the trees. We also took the botanical dyeing class, which became my dad's first-ever art project! Ernesto was a fantastic host. He taught us so much about the farm and the dyeing process, and he was thoughtful, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our entire stay. It was truly a gift to spend our engagement weekend at Firefly Grove. We would love to return, whether it's for another art class or simply to relax, recharge, and enjoy everything the farm has to offer.

She is a kind and loving soul who has created a wonderful space for all the animals to roam and coexist. The tour was informative and gives you an up close opportunity to interact with the animals. Upon stepping into the sanctuary, you are greeted by emus, goats and the sweet great pyrenees farm dogs. The animals are as curious about you as you are about them. The goats are very friendly and love to be petted. There seem to always be a sweet goat by my side. There was so much to take in from the ducks cooling off in the creek to the male turkey strutting his feathers to the precious baby geese, which I got to hold one and melted my heart. That moment was truly special. Also, got to hold a baby chick just hours old! What I love most is that while you are there, you forget about the outside world. There is no noise just peace, calm and such nurture for your soul to be amongst these beautiful creatures. Esther is truly passionate about her sanctuary and how lucky are we as guests that we get to step into her world. You will probably need a 2nd or a 3rd visit to truly immerse yourself and be able to take it all in.
