I have been in search for French macarons and I finally found some! When I discovered this coffee shop, I ran inside, spotted the French macaroons and instantly asked what flavors they had. I left this place with six! The flavors that I picked were raspberry, lemon, pistachio, rose lychee, nutella, and honey lavender! They had about six other flavors as well. Honestly, I'm judging this place just off of their French macarons because I walked in, spotted them, bought them, and walked out. The only downfall was that each individual macaron cost $2.50!!! That's expensive if you ask me! But hey, how often do I get to eat French macarons?? Anyways, the place seemed pretty crowded for the off season, and apparently they have free wifi which is a plus! read more

Mornings in Paris was a staple on our recent trip to Kennebunkport. The biscotti are ok, and the Colombian coffee was a little bitter for a medium roast, but the pastries and lattes are where they really shine! The Nutella latte is fantastic, the mocha turtle latte (chocolate hazelnut caramel) is delicious, and the crembrulee latte is not overly sweet- very good. I also ordered the gingerbread latte which I thought sounded interesting, but I think I prefer my gingerbread and coffee flavors separate. They had soy milk, but couldn't do a soy Nutella since the milk and Nutella were premixed (I still tasted my husband's). We got a deliciously flaky chocolate croissant, and they sold out of most pastries by 9am even during the off season each day! This adorable spot was conveniently located in town just a 3 minute drive down the road from our b&b, so we went three times! read more

This place was just ok. We got an iced coffee, a blueberry iced tea, and a spinach and artichoke turnover to share. The iced coffee was ok, the blueberry iced tea wasn't phenomenal either, and the turnover left a bad taste in your mouth. They just had a tray sitting out in the middle of the room for your dirty dishes and silverware... Not super aesthetically pleasing! There are enough coffee spots around that you can probably find a better one without too much difficulty. read more

What a nice little cozy coffee shop in downtown Kennebunk! Cozy being the operative word... on the particular day I went, it was rather warm for it being not "that" cold outside... but that's not something I'm going to complain about... just be prepared to shed a few layers if you plan to stay a while! The decor is extremely cute and every little detail seems to be taken care of! The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the coffee strong and delicious! read more

As a GRB local Mornings in Paris is a favorite. They have good coffee, better pastry's and people watching at a favorite intersection that is near and dear to my heart! John Paul I believe is the owners name he helped me out for a bachelorette and supplied take out of cold brew, delicate croissants and love! I recommend stopping by or sitting for hours. My son was visiting me in Maine while I was working in York County so I thought I would take him to Kennebunkport for lunch on our way to Nubble Light house. For dessert we stopped here and although the petit four was good as well as the 6 pack of macrons and London fog latte it was way over priced, (even for macrons) especially when having to order from a rude staff person. If my son hadnt wanted the macrons I would have walked out..after telling them what customers service is supposed to be. read more

We bought both of their breakfast sandwiches. They were dry and not warmed up enough. The chocolate croissants and coffee were lit, though.

Coffee and pastries were pretty average, we got the raspberry cream cheese croissant and chocolate croissant. I ordered a macchiato, and we told them our order was "for here." I saw them get out a to go cup and I assumed they hadn't heard me, so I repeated that it was for here so I could get a small mug. They told me "we don't give out any mugs in the summer." I thought this was very odd to drink a small beverage like that from a quarter full to go mug sitting on an outdoor patio. Too bad as the outdoor space was definitely pleasant. read more

A wonderful little coffee shoppe. Filled with high end light pasties and excellent coffee. The Ethiopian coffee is perhaps the strongest coffee I've ever had-within a rich but harsh flavor that is awesome. The petit sandwiches were amazing. I love coffee and some times while traveling it can be difficult to find the perfect almond milk latte, but Mornings in Paris nailed it! The cafe not only serves a good cup of coffee, gluten free and vegan treats but they also have a beautiful decor. The staff was so friendly! This place is decadent, but in a completely comfortable and cozy way. They have plenty of inside seating and a great little patio out front. And the amazing pastry case greats you when you walk in. :) We ordered ice coffee and split the spinach & feta crossaint and the raspberry cheese crossaint. Both were absolutely divine. The service was fast and friendly...and it was just what we wanted for a simple, yet crazy delicious, Sunday morning breakfast! If you don't try Mornings in Paris.........youre and idiot. I am a regular of mornings in paris and my one problem is that I haven't written a review of it SOONER. I have been going several times a week (mainly on weekends since I live in Boston) and it is part of my routine. The coffee/baked goods are of the utmost quality! I invite you all to look at my other reviews for suggestions on the area and beyond....but also to note my pet peeve of poor customer service and management.....here they have everything down perfectly. It is owner run and managed and the staff has the core knowledge and customer service traits it TAKES to run and manage a business. It is no surprise that you can get a coffee anywhere. Why would you come here? You come here for the outstanding product, the location, the indoor/outdoor seating, but most of all you come here because you are treated like a friend, a regular. After 2-3 times they remember your order, your name and are always so pleasant. I am so lucky to call them my "weekend coffee spot" I would HIGHLY endorse this place to anyone who has confusion on where to go. read more

We stopped in on an overcast day and were delighted with what we found. 'Mornings' is slightly off the beaten path and charming inside and out.
