Can't speak for the food because I didn't get to try it. But we made a quick stop here (small 7minute wait to find parking) just to get a milkshake and we were not disappointed! The peanut butter cup and chocolate/banana shakes were amazing! It has a great view of the beach and if you go around 7 you may even get a great sunset view! Service was quick and shakes were delicious. We'll have to come back to try the food in order to give it 5 stars.

We got a chocolate chip cookie dough and Oreo shakes. Super thick and super yummy. The burgers were flavorful. They give a vibe of backyard BBQ burger. Service was super quick. We came about an hour or so before sunset, so it wasn't terribly busy. We loved the views! The only thing I wish they had was a designated queue for ordering. We had some issues with a man cutting the line. Parking sucks so come with plenty of time!

If you have people with you, have them get off and order. Food will be ready once you park. Staff are really nice and accommodating. They're mostly younger kids but very polite. Food comes out fast. Food was pretty good, definitely can get better elsewhere but what people come here for are the views. We for burgers, turkey burger, chili cheese fries and sweet potato fries. Oh and a choc/vanilla and banana shake- these were really good. It's nice grabbing a burger by the water, esp at sunset. The epitome of OC. The area and views make you thankful to live here.

Great Pre-Lunch Drinks with a View. We stopped here for…read moredrinks while waiting for our lunch reservation at Beachcomber, and it turned out to be a great way to kick off the meal. Located on the rear side of the restaurant, this bar shares the same drink menu, so you're getting the full experience before you even sit down. The bartenders were attentive and kept things moving despite a pretty packed crowd -- impressive given how busy it was. Service was quick and efficient, which made the wait fly by. We tried two cocktails -- the Big Bad Bloody Mary and the Beachcomber Cocktail. The Bloody Mary was the clear star of the show. It came loaded with crab, shrimp, pickled olives, carrots, and beans -- practically a meal in itself and absolutely delicious. The Beachcomber Cocktail, on the other hand, was a bit too sweet for our taste, so if you prefer something more balanced, you may want to explore other options on the menu. Drinks are on the pricier side, but honestly, the location justifies it. You're paying for the ambiance as much as what's in the glass. Bottom line: A fun and lively spot to grab a drink before your meal. Skip the Beachcomber Cocktail if you're not into sweet drinks, but don't leave without trying that Bloody Mary -- it's a standout.

We stopped in at the bar on the backside of the beachcomber. Been here a few times and always had a great experience. They have plenty of seating and standing area for drinks and hanging out and enjoying the weather and atmosphere. Drinks are made very well and flavorful. Outside seating first come , first served. Server comes out right away, fun and friendly we had drinks and had our table right on the patio then we Ordered some very tasty appetizers. Everything we had was amazing like always I know I'll be back sooner than later cheers!!!!

My boyfriend ordered the margarita, which he really enjoyed as well. We shared the Caesar salad with crispy capers, and it was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. For our entrées, my boyfriend ordered the halibut and I chose the steak. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The food, drinks, and overall experience were excellent. We'll definitely be back!

We couldn't decide if there was only one guy serving, but other tables received their drinks and food before us. What did go well, the table assistant Alberto hooked us up with refills and retrieved napkins and silverware for us. He had a great attitude also. We enjoyed our food, I had the fish tacos, very balanced, my friend enjoyed the pancakes, and my other friend ordered the eggs Benedict and said they were good. We also sampled the French toast, it was a nice sweet treat. I tried some cocktails, the raspberry one was pretty but sweet and the other one was a citrus one that I really liked. This does have more of a nighttime vibe, the bar is really cool. I think they needed more staff for the brunch crowd.

Despite how busy they were, the service was excellent. Drinks and appetizers arrived within minutes of ordering, and the staff did a great job keeping up with our large group. The unlimited chips and salsa were dangerously good. I always tell myself I'll stop after a few chips, but somehow I never do--and this salsa was definitely the reason why! For my entrée, I ordered the three seafood enchiladas. I appreciated that the seafood flavors were bold and fresh without tasting fishy. The green sauce complemented the dish perfectly and elevated the flavors even more. I also sampled a combination plate, which was good overall, although I felt the chile relleno had a little too much cheese, making it difficult to taste the chile itself. For dessert, we couldn't decide on just one, so we ordered the chocolate cake, tres leches cake, and fried ice cream. My ranking: fried ice cream first, tres leches second, and chocolate cake third. The chocolate cake was good but similar to what you'd find at many other restaurants. The tres leches was delicious--moist without being overly milky or sweet, and the almonds added a nice texture and flavor. The fried ice cream was the standout for me. The crunchy cereal coating added great texture, and because it wasn't overly sweet, it balanced perfectly with the ice cream. Overall, this is a place I'd definitely recommend for both the food and service. Just remember: reservations, reservations, reservations!.
