We never had an empty glass of water during our meal! That's impressive, haha. We both got the OCRW meal. We got 1 of each appetizer- gem salad & tomato bisque. It took a little bit for the food to come out when it wasn't that crowded but we enjoyed the view. Both were good. Then we waited a bit for our food but we got the lamb shanks which was huge!! The server said it was about 12oz! My friend said it was good! I got the seabass with veggies which I really enjoyed! Light fish and loved the veggies! We both got the crème brûlée which was a good way to end the deal! Everything was delicious! You also get an amazing view of the sunset which we didn't even plan. Definitely worth a try!! SYOY!

The patio area is very spacious so there is plenty of room for people to enjoy the ocean breeze. I dined here on a Friday evening and it was pretty busy. Despite how lively it was, our server was extremely attentive to all of our needs. The manager, Sal, was extremely friendly and I noticed him engaging with tables throughout the night. The food was all so delicious. For appetizers we ordered the White Mexican Shrimp & Chilean Sea Bass Ceviche, the Rosemary Focaccia Bread, and a cup of their Seafood Chowder. The Ceviche was fresh and packed with flavor. The Focaccia was so fluffy and was served with a delicious whipped honey butter. For my entree I ordered the Short Rib Pappardelle. The chunk of short rib was massive and the creme fraise really tied all the elements of the dish together. My friends ordered the Wild Caught Chilean Sea Bass and American Wagyu Beef Burger. Both were yummy. Overall the food, service, and ambiance were top notch. Will definitely be back.

Wild Caught Alaskan Halibut ($38) 2/5: The halibut was too dry and the flavor was lacking. The same is to be said for the vegetables.

I always go for the ribeye melt or the French dip (order while it lasts). Both are absolutely to die for. The au jus is drinkable, and I could eat the Worcester sauce with a spoon. If you go for the sides, I would highly recommend the potato salad. It's slightly more acidic than most, and it has little bits of bacon, which give you little bites of smokeyness. Next up, the butter cake. Oh my god, this thing is to die for. Although we're always stuffed after our well portioned entrees, we never ever leave without ordering it. The cake is rich and crumbly. And the compote complements it perfectly, although I always wish there was more. The little mint leaves are also a wonderful bit of added flavor. The one time I didn't order the potato salad, I got the blue cheese and tomatoes instead. It was more of an underwhelming side because it was - you guessed it- just blue cheese and tomatoes. Probably a little bit of an interpretation mistake on my part...

We ordered the fried chicken and waffles to share and found it easily fed three of us. We did have a reservation, so we were sat quickly. If you don't have a reservation, the bar is always a quick option for one or a pair of people. The waiter kindly suggested to pair the coffee with carrot breakfast muffins. This is a must try!!

We stopped by spontaneously for a weekend brunch after seeing this spot on social media, and were pleasantly surprised that it 100% lived up to the hype! One of our favorites was the ceviche, which came with a tasty mix of cooked white fish, tomato, peppers, onion and cilantro paired with fresh tortilla chips, and is a refreshing option for a hot summer Californian day. I also surprisingly enjoyed the bone marrow, which was so deeply flavorful without being overwhelmingly rich, and paired beautifully with their freshly roasted bread. Also highly recommend trying their cocktails, especially the French, which comes with a creative spin of raspberry sorbet and brut to pour over. Definitely check out this hidden gem restaurant for innovative and elevated Californian cuisine if you're in Laguna!

We got seated at our table at our table around 4:30p and had the most perfect view of the ocean! *we went on a Friday night and noticed the patio cleared out about 4:45-5pm and I didn't appear to have a lot of people waiting during that time. The main patio was covered with umbrellas, so once you are seated for dinner, there was plenty of umbrellas for shade and heaters for when it got a little cooler. For our food orders, and as recommended by our server, we went with their seafood options and ordered their Pacific Ceviche for an appetizer and for Entrees my husband got the Roasted Halibut and me and my mother-in-law both got the Scallop and Shrimp pasta. We all loved our dishes and were very satisfied with our choices. Their menu does have non-seafood options, but why not to try what they're most prominent for? They don't have a dessert menu, but they heard that we were celebrating mom's birthday so they brought us a little Toffee Cake to share and enjoy...and for a place that doesn't have dessert, the cake was pretty delicious. Such a cute place all around. My husband and I can't wait to go back! We asked for a table for 2 and we were 3rd in line to be seated after a couple in front of us asked to be seated at the bar. The hosted sat us at a small table in the back right under the stairs. They had plenty of nicer tables with better views not under the stairs because they just opened. We ordered 2 drinks a vodka soda and a drink off the menu, are drinks came right away and my husbands drink was nasty, he had me taste it and I told him there was no carbonation in the drink, I took it back up the bar they threw it out and fixed the drink with a new carbonation seltzer. I tasted my drink and it had the same problem but I drank it anyway. We ordered oysters and poke appetizer It was delicious. After our drinks we ordered 2 more drinks vodka soda and a aperol spritzer right before we ordered our main dish a seafood pasta, our pasta came before our 2nd order of drinks came they took forever! We waited for our server to bring us our check for a while and then asked another server to grab him for us We paid our check $180 plus tip Which was awkward because the server showed us where to leave a tip. Service was horrible and our drinks were even worse!! The food was really good, but not good enough to make up for the negatives this restaurant had!! Won't return!

We had just checked in across the street at Le Petit Pali & wanted to have a late, light lunch prior to our early dinner at Selanne Steak. Our friends had a couple of suites that they had just checked into at The Montage so we wanted to be nearby to hang out. We were seated on one of the balcony dining areas and it was a beautiful, sunny with a cool wind Laguna day. The lady & I opted to split at porchetta sandwich ($32) which comes with pickled red peppers, arugula, caramelized cippolini onion on a ciabatta bun. It was exactly what I needed. It came with perfectly cooked fries. The porchetta itself was tasty and hit the spot... What stood out most to us was the way Mathieu and the staff split our sandwich. They plated each half of the porchetta sandwich with equal portion fries on separate plates. Their foresight to do this was not lost on us. Another couple we were with, also shared their sandwich and they did the same for them. We really appreciate them going above and beyond. Also ordered at our table was grilled tiger prawns ($32) and greek yogurt parfait ($20) with seasonal berries, house-made granola & wildflower honey... Everyone at our table enjoyed our orders. The view, the weather and the service was great. Thanks Mathieu... We'll be back with bigger appetites.
