I'm currently looking for and trying artisan sandwich shops. This fit the bill! The combination of ingredients with artisan bread is so delicious! People there were very nice and personable too - which I appreciate. Shop isn't big, but has plenty of seating. I really like their sort of alleyway of seating with all the natural sunlight. The only issue ya might have is parking. So I'd suggest ordering ahead of time and picking up real quick. I come to Laguna Beach often, and this might have to be my pit stop before hitting the sand and waves.

Pleasantly surprised by this little sandwich shop! We stopped in to pick up a couple of sandwiches. The guy working the counter, who also made our sandwiches, was very helpful and friendly (I wish I got his name - he loves 80's music and was singing along). Sandwiches are $15-17 range. Loved the vegan portobello mushroom! It was very flavorful with grilled portobello mushrooms, marinated red peppers, avocado, tomatoes, arugula, spicy aioli and balsamic dressing. Warning - the sandwich is a little messy, so it may drip onto your clothes. The turkey avocado was more standard, though I liked the addition of cucumber and parmesan. I'm somewhere between four and five stars but will go with five because service was great! Look forward to trying more sandwiches. They have some indoor and outdoor seating, but I recommend bringing your sandwiches over to one of the benches overlooking the ocean. The view can't be beat!

Superb every time. Always a treat when I visit. Reuben's is my go-to and favorite sando in the OC. Although I've tried most of the menu and enjoyed every item I've had, I can't recommend it enough. Not to mention it's a very clean shop and the quick and friendly service--5/5 all around.

Yum! This was a great vegetarian sandwich! It was loaded with stuff, had a good sauce, and the grilled mushroom was delicious.

Absolutely loved our experience here, it was delicious, quick, and fairly priced. It was wonderful being able to make modifications as well. Fino is very talented and kind !! Can't wait to come back. This serves as a wonderful option for dine in (if you have a relatively small group) or take out.

The sandwiches here are absolutely delicious! I got the Momma Mia with added chicken (my favorite!) and also tried the tuna sandwich with my bestie, we split them so we could try both. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The staff didn't seem overly enthusiastic, but honestly, the sandwiches more than make up for it. Perfect to grab and head straight to the beach. I can already tell this is going to become a regular spot for me!

This was the first time I'd been to Broadway sandwiches and it definitely won't be the last!! I had the Turkey with avacado. It was the BEST anchovy I've ever had. Fresh bread, lots of Turkey loaded into it and avocado. It also had cucumber that added an extra burst of flavor. You have to try it!! read more

The reason I'm writing this review is that I rely on reviews myself--especially the negative ones--to help me decide whether a place is worth visiting. This place serves average sandwiches at high prices. There was nothing particularly special about the food or the atmosphere, and I felt it was overpriced for what it offered. Unfortunately, the employee at the counter also seemed to be in a bad mood, which didn't make for a pleasant experience. Based on our visit, I don't think we'll be returning. read more

Stumbled upon Broadway sandwiches and boy what a treat. Service is king and the people working here were friendly and built 3 great Sandy's for me, my wife and 2 kids. The Reuben was warm, stacked and fresh. The Broadway was fresh and perfectly balanced. My kids inhaled their basic turkey, mayo and avocado. We will be back. read more

WOW WOW WOW! After 18 years I finally had a good sandwich in South OC!!!!! I grew up in NY but have lived her for 18 years and honestly, every sandwich, every last one has been a disapointment until today. I ordered the Wiseguy (Spicy Aioli, Capocollo, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Sicilian Olives, Burrata, Basil, Italian Pork Pancetta Arrotolata, Provolone) on Door Dash (thakn you for delivering to Aliso Viejo) and man oh man. The Capocollo had good heat (sicilian version), which was cut perfectly by the fat in the pancetta. The bread actually had a little bit of crunch to it (not just the normall awful soft roll you get here) and the vegetables, especially the sicilian olives) were fresh and spot on. Bravo! read more

I stopped here for a late breakfast and am glad I did. I ordered the Vegan Portobello sandwich --- grilled portobello mushroom, avocado, marinated bell pepper, arugula with pickles and balsamic viniagrette --- on lightly toasted bread. It was substantial and delicious --- and healthy too. The woman who took my order was very friendly and welcoming as was the owner. The restaurant has a very nice counter indoors to sit at and a great area on the side of the restaurant with individual tables that can sit two people. Very chilled and relaxing ambiance. I'd definitely return to try another one of their sandwiches --- they're really good! (I also loved the quotes on the walls.) read more

Seeing the high ratings for this sandwich place, I was a bit skeptical. We came here on a Sunday for a late lunch and grabbed sandwiches to go. This was located close to the main Laguna Beach so this was the perfect meal to bring for a picnic at the nearby beach. Ordered the Broadway sandwich which has truffle mascarpone, mortadella, provolone, salami, red onion, tomato, and lettuce. This sandwich was SO GOOD! The variety of cheeses and salami was just the right amount of salty, and the acidity from the red onion helped cut the salt. This sandwich is a must-try! read more

so glad we found this gem! it was the perfect place to grab a bite after a walk on the beach. I got the fuhgetaboutit. SO good, the bread was soft and fluffy, sandwich was pretty large, and the cheese and olives really made it stand out. My husband got la caprese and it was also very good. And the special came with free chips! Quick service, and we even had the perfect seating area for our doggo to join. We will be back! read more

Broadway serves good sandwiches with great bread. Sandwiches start at about $15, and they offer daily specials as well. They're a very popular place and so the wait can be long. However, there's an online ordering system (which I found out about after the fact) - take advantage of that! Then bring your sandwich to the beach and enjoy a meal with an ocean view. I had a grilled chicken panini. It was honestly very tasty - I just feel like every sandwich shop these days can crank out excellent ones, and so the standard is really high. Nonetheless, Broadway Sandwiches will not disappoint! read more

I didn't need the ice cream with it honestly. Service was attentive and accurate!! For such a busy day, we felt well attended to. It's a nice restaurant. You can come dressed down or up.
