Everything about this restaurant is Amazing!! The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, the tea is out of this world. If I lived close enough this would be my daily lunch spot. The food smells amazing when it wafts into the open dining.* I've since finished eating and let me say, hands down this is the best Thanksgiving I've had since my grandmother passed away. The food was off the charts and the dessert were to die for.10/10 would recommend to any and everyone. Portions were great and the food was even better

One of the best restaurants! Amazing ambience, customer service that makes you feel right at home, and flavorful food that is out of this world! I can't say enough great things to do it justice! It's a must, time and time again!

It's been a while since I had the opportunity to enjoy this place and it was worth the wait. As always the staff is so nice and attentive. The entrees were prepared to perfection. The lamb with prunes was a first. The spices and tenderness of the lamb was so savory. The basmati rice complimented the dish nicely. I can't resist the mint tea never pass on having this with my meal. First time having the Chicken with olives and fries. It was amazing. The appetizer of filled puffed pastry will be a new favorite for sure.

You don't need to take a trip to Casablanca or Marrakech to sample a taste of Morocco. I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem while in San Antonio. It's located at an unassuming strip mall along in a busy commercial district. When you walk in, you are greeted by a multitude of photos and cultural memorabilia adorning the walls. One photo in particular captured my attention - the one featuring none other than Guy Fieri. Come to find out, he showcased this establishment on an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! The owner is a kind lady who immediately seats you with a smile. The interior is inviting and has ample seating throughout. I looked over the menu, which featured a variety of classic Moroccan dishes from soups to tagine, and everything in between. I started with a large mint tea, a specialty drink that typically encompasses loose leaf gunpowder green tea steeped with mint leaves and sugar. As I wasn't very hungry, I opted for a side of lentils. When the pot of tea arrived, it was brought to the table on a tray and poured into a short decorative glass! Although hot, the first sip flooded my taste buds with bliss and joy! The fusion of mint and tea leaves with just the right amount of sugar was sensational, refreshing, and quite satisfying. Next, complementary bread was brought out, after which came the lentils. The lentils were adequately portioned and were both savory and abundantly filling. There were so many more items on the menu that I wanted to try, but I left most of my appetite at home. If you're looking for a change of pace and want to take a leap of faith, try this wonderful restaurant and leave amazed at the flavor and creativity behind some of North Africa's best cuisine.

Came here after watching the DDD episode on TV. My wife and I are always looking forward to trying new cuisines. We placed the order online and picked up Moroccan hummus and merguez sandwich. The Moroccan hummus was delicious. It was more of a soup than hummus but still great as an appetizer. The sandwich was good too, especially after adding some heat. Overall would recommend coming here to anyone wanting to try a different type of cuisine.

The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Service was phenomenal and prices are fair. The restaurant ambience is relaxing. I am a Caribbean man and am no stranger to flavors and seasonings and my god this food was seasoned so well I can not recommend this enough. Must eat here thank you for the phenomenal service we WILL be back

    Lamb Shank with Apricot

I have been here twice and both times were amazing! The service and people are almost as good as the food! The food tastes like someone really loves making it. This time I had the lamb shank with apricot. The meat was fall off the bone tender and seasoned so well, but the flavor of the lamb came through. The broth it was served it was so delicious I could just drink it out of the bowl and be happy. The apricots on top really kicked it up a notch (same with the lamb shank with dates). My brother had the chicken pastilla. I was hesitant about it because of the powdered sugar, but I tasted his and I don't know how it all came together but it did! I was kinda sad I didn't order that, until I tasted my dish again, and fell in love with it all over again. The love from the owner and people working there is so warm and welcoming. The restaurant is also spotlessly clean and all of the ingredients are fresh and wonderful. If you want to try Moroccan food, GO HERE!

I uber a Nicoise salad and a side of carrots.. first time trying this restaurant. I would absolutely recommend! Delicious and fresh flavors!

    Mint tea, staple of Morocco

Amazing! The food is delicious, real Moroccan flavor. The service is exceptional. The ladies are so friendly and they'll take care of you. I love the atmosphere, it's very comfortable. Don't forget the mint tea when you go!

Chicken Tagine with French Fries and olives

Positives: The food is VERY GOOD. First experience with Moroccan food and it was really tasty. The service was very good as well. UNFORTUNATELY, the downside comes at the END as you're paying. We were TRIPLE charged for a 6 pack of Macaroons. Additionally they do not tell you this, but it is stated at the bottom of your receipt that is emailed AFTER you complete your card transaction they TACK on an 18% "Service Fee" (included on EVERY ticket without notice). if you are the type who TIPS your wait staff like I do our waitress just got a 38% or $44 tip for serving 3 adults a pot of hot tea, 2 meals (1 was shared), and some deserts. I'm

Vegan Tagine (back), Vegan Couscous (front)
    Meg F.

Nadia helped curate the perfect vegan meal. We shared the Veggie Tagine which was so rich in flavor and chock full of stewed veggies, with a side of the basmati rice. The rice alone was so flavorful that the combo knocked it out of the park. We also split the vegan couscous. It had similar ingredients to the Tagine but was such a totally different flavor profile. I definitely suggest trying both! The serving size of each dish could easily feed 2 people, but if you are hungry like we were, you will not leave anything on your plates. We finished it off with an assortment of vegan baklavas and pastries, which were also so delicious and not overly sweet. The service was top notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was so lovely.

From beautiful decor with Mediterranean vibes to the warm of the staff and the quality of the good, our experience was incredible ! We all did the "Table of Joy" option of the menu, which basically is a 3-4 course meal with dessert, all chosen by the chef. You can express if you want something specific from the menu and they will make sure to bring it to you. On Sunday they have a wonderful wine special, all wine bottles are 50% off Everything we got served was outstanding, but my personal favorite were the fire roasted corn, the grilled cabbage and the lamb ribs. Outstanding service by our server, she knew the menu very well and guided us through it like a pro. Definitely a place to return! Check the food we got and get ready to drool over your screen!

Should have asked that during reservation but fine. It was quite warm outside and they only had one industrial sitting fan. At a place this nice I expected some ceiling fans to be honest. Or something a bit classier. Service was mediocre, a bit overbearing to be honest with multiple pushes for us to order more. We tried the butternut squash dip, the spicy feta, the hummus, roasted corn and the lamb ribs. We also got 2 spitz and 2 beer. Total for four people with tip was about 95 bucks which is fair. We had a vegetarian at our table so they brought out veggies to dip as well which was nice. My favorite was the roasted corn and the surprisingly the feta. It was enough to be full. Lamb was fatty but flavored nicely.

Again, it almost feels like they are annoyed or wondering why we are eating there. I never get used to it. No warm welcome of any kind, no help with ordering, no suggestions, just a bunch of looks. It's not the first, and I doubt it will be the last. We just ate at Chef's table, and the service and ambience is NOTHING like here. Dare I say, but I will, this is only for foreigners from wherever the owners are from? One day I'm going to ask. Anyway, they food was not bad, but also not in anyway makes want to come back. We had falafel, hummus, kebbeh, chicken mandi, and a mix grill. Let's start with the meal starters. The falafel was definitely one of the least favs we've had in quite awhile. It was a dry, over cooked puck. Not very appetizing. The hummus was ok. Not bad but not the best. I will leave it at that. The best one was the kebbeh. It was delicious. The only downside is you got three very very small ones for the price. Still good. All the sauces they brought were great. The chicken, although perfectly cooked, was just bland. I expected more. It has all the character of an unseasoned piece of chicken you buy from a benefit plate sale. It could be a good thing or a bad thing. The one dish I wanted to like but was disappointing was the mix grill. Two very very small pieces of protein, with some rice. One piece was EXTREMELY over seasoned, I mean it felt like I was snorting the spices, and the other was I believe not seasoned at all. Maybe they figured it would balance the meal out?!?? Who knows. I saw another patron order a huge nice piece of what looked like manakish or taboon, basically a nice piece of naan. We were brought a store bought bag of what felt and tasted like dry and tough flour tortillas. The rices were delicious. The baklava was also one of the not soo good versions we've had. Let me touch on this, I truly believe the people running it are probably sweet people. I just don't understand the cultural norm and expectations with service and the language barrier. The place is beautiful and I'm pretty sure there are ways to order food that we would probably love. What I'm saying is we never felt it was an option. It felt like we were supposed to know what to order before we sat down. We saw a lot of regulars(I assume), literally order, wait and eat. Nothing else. Maybe one day I can get the answer I'm looking for.
