This inspector took photos of our foundation and showed us the disaster that was under our house. It had been that way for 15+ years. No posts on our jost and the josts being held up by cinder blocks and wood. The perimeter of our house completely sinking into the ground and needing to be fixed ASAP costing us $18,880. When I called to ask why this was missed they said "let us look at your file and call you back". I got no phone call. After 2 voicemails and no returned calls we've hired an attorney. If you are qualified to do a job you should do that job. Now we are a single income military family left with an $18k debt we cannot pay and 3 small children.
