From the moment we walked in, they took our had a reason to celebrate. they sat down us down our menus had a personalized happy birthday card, which added a final touch to the perfect dinner ! our servers, Alexis and Missy, took amazing care of us. They were attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They made excellent recommendations from both the Power Hour menu and the dinner menu, and we were so impressed with the variety and quality of the selections. Me and my parents enjoyed an amazing meal at Morton's last night. The food was wonderful, my parents split the porterhouse and I had the 8 oz filet with garlic butter. The sides we ordered were phenomenal; the creamed spinach and the truffle and parmesan matchstick fries. And the appetizers were delicious too, we all split the wagyu dumplings and the Caesar salad (which is very easy to split because of how big it is). As amazing as our food was (and trust me, our food was amazing), our service was the standout takeaway. Our waitress, Missy, was extremely attentive and just an overall delight. She had such a deep knowledge of the menu and was extremely helpful while ordering as well. We would highly reccomend anyone in Atlantic City looking for a good dining experience to come here! read more

First trip to Morton's did not disappoint. We decided to come here for our "fancy" dinner during my mates' annual AC escape from the missus'. We each enjoyed some very nice slabs of meat and various meat-friendly accoutrements, like sauteed mushrooms & spinach, asparagus, and smoked gouda & bacon au gratin potatoes. If you really want to go balls to the wall, you can even try the lobster macaroni shells & cheese (we didn't, we lost most of our money on roulette by this time and needed to be a bit more side-frugal LOL). It felt like more of a mashed potatoes kind of night anyway. That's not to say I still didn't splurge with what they call "enhancements," deciding to say screw it, I still have an emergency fund, and making my filet "Oscar style," which adds jumbo lump crab meat, asparagus, and Morton's signature béarnaise sauce. What makes it their signature sauce compared to regular béarnaise sauce, I have no idea. Even the description on the website makes it sound run of the mill: "Béarnaise sauce is a piquant child of hollandaise, one of the so-called mother sauces of French cuisine. It is simply an emulsification -- egg yolks and butter cut through with vinegar flavored with tarragon and shallots, with a bite of black pepper." I guess it's the extra tang of the shallots, the secret's out. Service was friendly and attentive. The staff realizes a lot of people are on vacation and humor us by listening to our tales of woe, telling us to keep exploring everything the city has to offer and to hang in there HAHA. It comes off as genuine kindness, though, which makes these trips all the more enjoyable. We usually eat at whatever casino we're staying in, so if we ever cycle back to Caesars, Morton's would again be at the top of our list for fancy dinner night. read more

I went here on Saturday night. It was just a low quality meal for the price. I ordered a New York strip steak and the meat was tough. It felt barely better than the quality of steak at a Longhorns Steakhouse. The lobster Mac and cheese was underwhelming and bland. It tasted like it probably came out of a Velveeta box. The charred broccoli tasted weird. My date ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. It was undercooked and gooey in the middle. The bread was the best thing. It was good. read more

She only came around once to ask for drinks although we were there for a couple of hours. The Old Fashioned that I had was ok. I ordered the filet and lobster combination. The lobster was delightful. The filet was a bit undercooked for a medium temperature and was not as flavorful as I liked. Someone else at the table sent back their filet for being undercooked. We had a variety of side dishes. I tried the Potatoes Au Gratin and the Broccolini. The potatoes fell short of my flavor profile expectations while the broccolini met them. This visit was somewhat disappointing. I do appreciate the manager checking in with our party. Her response when we asked if the order that was returned due to being undercooked would be free was non-committal. I expected her to unequivocally say yes. read more

We just LOVE the Power Hour at Morton's in Caesar's in Atlantic City! They open for Power Hour at 3pm and it lasts until 6pm which is fantastic, the cocktails are wonderful, bar staff attentive and it's a very nice looking restaurant situated at Caesar's. The food does not disappoint the portions are fantastic for a happy hour, ask for that divine warm onion bread it's a can't miss... the crab cakes were lovely, filet sandwiches perfect for sharing, shrimp Louie wedge bites yummy and my favorite is those lil fried chicken sliders.. the tangy giardiniera spread is the perfect accompaniment to the crispy fried chicken just delish! It was all delicious!! The beef wagyu dumplings alone were great but the sauce that comes with it really made it all come together! The porterhouse was so amazing, I recommend the garlic butter with it, along with the mashed potatoes! Our server Arthur was incredible, he was extremely attentive and personable 10/10 service. I loved the interior; the lighting was just right--not too bright and not too dark. The tables are nicely spaced, and it's definitely a very fancy place. I'm a fan of Morton's. They're a high-end steakhouse chain known for their USDA prime-aged steaks, seafood, and extensive wine list. This location is located off to the side of Caesars in Atlantic City. The place was PACKED and bustling on a Saturday night, as expected. We didn't have any reservations, but I highly recommend making one. Luckily, we were able to snag a table for two right away. Ambiance is classy and upscale with dim lighting. Dark and sexy. Perfect for date nights, celebrations, and holidays. They have a full bar and a large dining room. The dress code is business casual, but you can definitely wear something fancy if that floats your boat. It's a steakhouse with an a la carte menu, so expect to splurge $$$. If you don't like seafood or red meat... I don't even know why you'd be here lol. They have different beef cuts and sizes for every taste palate and budget. Our server was friendly and attentive. He started us off with Morton's famous complimentary onion bread. It has a crunchy crust with a warm, soft, and airy interior. The bread is infused with onion, garlic, and sesame seed flavor. Be careful though.... It's so easy to get full from it! I ordered... *Wagyu Beef Dumplings with sweet chili sauce $22 - 7 dumplings topped with sesame seeds and scallions! I wish I got two orders because they were that good. The dumpling wrapper had the perfect crispy, golden-brown exterior. If you're a wagyu fan, you know that its higher fat content creates that "melt-in-your-mouth" experience. The sweet chili dipping sauce added another layer of tangy and spicy flavors. *8 oz. center-cut filet mignon (medium rare) $57 - The steaks here aren't the best I've ever had, but they're still pretty damn good. I was soooo pleased to see the pink color when I made the first cut. Don't talk to me if you like your steak well done. It was a juicy, tender, and lean cut with pops of a subtle buttery flavor in every bite. I didn't need any flavor enhancements/sauces because it was delicious on its own. *Onion Rings $14 - I never thought I would go crazy for onion rings. These were thick-cut, crispy, and huge. The onions were sweet and fresh. Overall, I recommend Morton's for a special occasion or if you're willing to splurge a bit. If you're on a budget, they host specials/events throughout the year with limited menus at discounted prices. They also have their own version of a happy hour, "Power Hour", Sun-Fri 4-6:30pm. I attempted to call the restaurant several times on New Year's Eve to ask a simple question about a menu item, but each time I was put on hold, then hung up on, or no one answered. Firstly, a huge shout out to our bartender, Shawn. He is sooo good. We randomly walked, found out it was happy hour and decided to hang out. The happy hour was way too good to not take advantage. I got the a drink that was so good but can't remember what it was. My partner got an old fashion. We got the sliders and onion rings. The shrimp wedge bites are a must. The filet mignon slides were delicious. The chicken sliders are a skip. The onion rings were the thick cut and super crisp. Loved it. I am definitely going back. Went to the Atlantic City location yesterday with my wife specifically for the Labor Day Special. Much to our surprise they said the had opted out, even though their website didn't indicate that. (see below) Very disappointed, but we ate at happy hour. Ended spending $50 instead of $200. When I tried to contact them, their website wouldn't let me choose a location, either thru Morton's or Landry's, so I wasn't allowed to continue. However, the salad was dry and under dressed. I think if the salad was properly dressed, it could have been stellar. Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with arugula was delicious. A satisfying Lump Crab Cake that was lip smacking. The 16oz Rib Eye was cooked to perfection. Tender quality of Beef with a fatty beef flavor that one only gets when a kitchen is hitting all cylinders, and this was it. I ordered the Cajun Rib Eye, and as an alone Steak, delicious, perfect cook. Quality. However, I don't understand why it was called "Cajun?" There was no Cajun Seasoning...at all? If the steak was called that because that is what the "cut" is called, ok, but I've been eating Steak longer than I can remember and I don't recall a cut called Cajun. There was no seasoning? Had a show at Caesar's so I booked a pre-theatre dinner at Morton's. I've never been to a Morton's - don't do chains and normally only do Keen's and Peter Luger's for my steak fix. Since it's a national chains, my expectations were very tempered. However on the plus side, the Oysters Rockefeller app, Gouda-Bacon Gratin and Brussels sprout sides, and the carrot cake dessert were all good. Service was very friendly. They also had bottle shock wine specials, which I highly recommend checking out. The only downside was the actual steak. Is this really USDA Prime quality? Ordered a bone in ribeye and a dry aged ribeye - both medium rare. The steak quality was very average. There was no char whatsoever on either steak, plus no "beefy funk" on the dry aged steak. Since a steakhouse should really be judged on its steak, had to knock off a star. Mortons is more like 3.5 stars. read more

Saturday night and no reservations but we got lucky and got two seats at the bar after the most lovely couple scooted down one for us! Definitely a great start to the experience! The team of bartenders are straight up seasoned professionals focused on their task of making the best drinks in town and providing excellent service to their bar customers! The team behind the bar checks on every customer, not just their section, meaning we never waited for anything! Our drinks were perfect and our food came out well spaced and just as ordered. Hubby's bone in ribeye was enormous, three meals worth for sure!! The crab cakes are solid crab, not sure there's any filler at all and the asparagus is grilled crisp tender. The Bacon Steaks though, they completely blew us away and stole the show! Smokey, salty and sweet perfection! The prices are right in line with any other high end restaurant with the quality of the food and service meriting those prices.
