Perfectly crispy crunchy chicken sliders yum!

We visited Morton's for happy hour and it was a fabulous time! The Maxwell cocktails were tasty, the bar food menu was great.. the chicken sliders with the giardiniera spread were so good, onion rings crispy and yummy, and we ordered a fantastic seafood tower and the shrimp and lobster cocktail off of the main menu all just excellent! Not pictured were also terrific waygu smash burger sliders and a filet we took home! All in all such a great experience we will definitely be back! Only reason it wasn't 5 star is the service was slightly lacking. Started out great and attentive but we just wished they checked on us a bit more. Also the website states happy hour was 4:00-6:30 but it was actually 4:30 start.

Ok so we are Flemings lovers and we may have become Morton lovers! We were lucky enough to stop in after a movie and grab two seats at the bar. Service was great! Mortonis were so good served with blue cheese olives. The giant loaf of steaming hot bread served with soft butter was a great way to start off our dinner. Au gratin potatoes were delicious, perfectly sliced with just the right amount of creaminess with tangy balance. Steaks were 8 ounces and 12 ounces , very tender and cooked as ordered. Asparagus was good too. Too full for dessert. Can't wait until next time!

I came here for my 6 year anniversary and they made sure to give us a very special evening. Morton's is located inside the Riverside Mall in Hackensack. As soon as you walked in you felt immersed in the fine dining experience that they offered. The waiter was extremely respectful, knowledgeable, and attentive which I appreciated fully. I failed to capture images from earlier in the evening because I was too busy dreaming about the main meal. To start we had the new Wagyu Dumplings, they were packed with flavor and had a beautiful semi steam-fried exterior too. Onto our main meals, I had the Prime Cajun Ribeye and it was extremely juicy and filled with the cajun seasoning, it was marinated for 48 hours as well. Our other entree was a Prime Dry Aged Ribeye but I'm not sure how long it aged for. We shared them but honestly couldn't tell which we preferred more, they both were delicious. Our dessert was on the house because of our anniversary dinner and we didn't expect that, so it was a very pleasant surprise. Can't say much about the dessert that others already haven't, it is their signature dessert for a reason, and they showed it to us too. All in all, I'd recommend everyone go and try Morton's at least once, especially for a special occasion, you will not regret dining there.

I'm a fan of Morton's. I've dined here 3-4 times, mainly for special occasions or holidays, and have always left with a happy belly. It's a steakhouse with an a la carte menu, so expect to splurge $$$. The ambiance is upscale with very dim lighting. Servers actually care about your experience, which is a plus. The steaks aren't the best I've ever had, but they're still pretty damn good. They have many options for every taste and budget. I recently visited on July 7 to try their Fourth of July special, $139 for two people. From a limited menu, we were able to choose: 2 cocktails, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees + 2 butter or sauce enhancements, 2 sides, and 1 dessert. What a steal! By the time we finished our dinner, we were stuffed with all of the deliciousness. More details about the food... The complimentary onion bread is addicting! Be careful though.... It's so easy to get full off of it lol. Cocktails 5/5: We ordered the Yuzu Spritz and Lemon Drop martini. Both were refreshing. I recommend to those who prefer alcoholic cocktails with a fruity or tarty profile. Appetizers 5/5: The French onion soups (half sized) were perfection!!! Sweet and savory. Entrees 4/5: I ordered the 6 oz. filet mignon (medium) with black truffle butter. I was soooo pleased to see the pink color when I cut my steak. It was juicy with pops of flavor in every bite. I really didn't need the black truffle butter as a flavor enhancement because the steak was delicious on its own. Sides 4/5: The mashed potatoes were just okay, a bit on the bland side. The onion rings, on the other hand...WERE INCREDIBLE!!! I never thought I would go crazy for onion rings. They were thick-cut and crispy... the onions were sweet and fresh. Dessert 5/5: OMG.... The bruleed strawberry and lemon cheesecake was a game changer. I'm still thinking about it 3 weeks later. The caramelized sugar on the strawberries??? *CHEF'S KISS* The silky smooth texture of the cheesecake??? DIVINE. Overall, I recommend Morton's for a special night out. If you're on a budget, they host specials/events throughout the year with limited menus at discounted prices.

Came for a quick meal at the bar one night. The giant, warm onion bread served was fantastic but I had to take it home as it was too much. The wedge salad was absolutely delicious and very filling however I was disappointed there were only three raviolis that came with the order for over $20. It was good but not great. Service was kind and attentive.

    Corn soufflé very good!

3.5 stars! If I rated Morton's last year I would of rated it 4 stars, but this year the side dishes were all disappointing! The main dishes steaks, seafood, and desserts were all excellent! I'm all about the side dishes when I go to a steakhouse that's why I'm rating Morton's 3.5. The onion bread they start you with is so DELICIOUS! For appetizers the shrimp cocktail was excellent, but the Caesar salad was Terrible! They need to make a better Caesar dressing. For main courses we had filet mignon, a lobster tail, and Chilean sea bass. All were excellent! For side dishes we had the creamed corn, fries, and lobster Mac and cheese. The creamed corn was HORRIBLE! It wasn't creamy at all, and the corn was all chopped up in this awful tasting liquid! The lobster Mac and cheese was bland and had no cheese flavor! The fries were ok, but needed more seasoning. They were too thin for taste. Last year we had a corn casserole that was good, but this year it was replaced by the creamed corn. For dessert we had the carrot cake that's was FANTASTIC! It was the best carrot cake we ever had! The upside apple pie was very good! Last year we had the sticky toffee pudding which was also excellent, but the cheesecake was just ok. Our waitress Dianne was excellent. If they can improve their side dishes I'd definitely come back because everything else was great!

Came for dinner on a Monday night, it wasn't that busy. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food is very good and always hits the spot. Had the salmon and filet mignon. I've been the other location in Atlantic City, which made me come to this location. Overall this is a good spot for a calm dinner.

Owner Pablo and his staff introduced me to five of the most popular items on the menu. Empanadas: These Argentinian turnovers come in five flavors: Beef, Chicken, Caprese, Spinach, Ham & Cheese. Have one or have them all; the choice is yours! Buenos Aires Salad: This may be an appetizer, but this salad practically eats like a meal. My favorite toppings were the avocado and shrimp. I don't have an acquired taste for hard boiled eggs; but everything else was perfect. Argentinian Grill for Two: Although this barbecue is meant for two, it can easily serve three people. This carnivorous entrée is filled with all of your favorite proteins including skirt steak, blood sausage, Argentinian sausage, and beef ribs. All meats are cooked with wooden charcoal so it has that authentic hint of wooden flavor. As a bonus, this entrée is served on a table grill with charcoal. Grilled Sea Food With Lobster: You won't need to travel down the shore for seafood when you explore this dish. It has all of your favorite dishes from under the sea. Seafood Mix With Rice: Here is a variation of the previous entrée except everything is served over a heaping pile of yellow rice. If you are fan of soccer, this is definitely a perfect hang out spot. The walls are adorned with beautiful wall art and souvenirs praising the highly appreciated international sport. Argentine cuisine is a blend of influences from the Italian and Spanish immigrants with its chief national product, beef. They say the reason Argentine steak is so good is that its cattle graze on the country's plentiful pampas grass, rather than being grain-fed as American cattle are. The result is leaner, more flavorful, and more nutritious beef. One such establishment is on Moonachie Road in Moonachie, where my partners, our friends and I decided on Saturday dinner. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering this cozy, modern interior of Tango Steak as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got a table right away. We were here 3 years ago when it was El Tango Argentina Grill. The vibe has completely changed. It's now darker and louder, not family-friendly. Music was at a decent volume and does seem to increase as it gets later, giving it a lounge type. As an appetizer, we started with Beef and Chicken Empanadas as well as Calamares (Calamari). For our main meal, we decided on the Extrana (Skirt Steak) with Mashed Potatoes & Chimichurri Sauce and Tango Burger accompanied with Fries. Food was good, not awesome. Our appetizers were tasty and well seasoned. The Skirt Steaks tasted fantastic with the Chimichurri Sauce. The Mashed Potatoes had a nice texture. However, some of us asked that their Tango Burgers be made medium but came out well done. The Fries were salty and very dry. Our service was horrendous, but our server was Nathaly who was accommodating and apologetic. Some of us had gotten their appetizer faster than others. The duration between our appetizers and the main meal was an hour. The food was not cheap given the portions received and the 20% gratuity added automatically to the bill. With insult to injury, their valet attendant charged $5. Definitely not what we expected, which is why we sadly can't recommend this place.

The food is good, portions generous, and past experiences with staff have been positive. But my first catering experience was a nightmare. I ordered empanadas, pasta with vodka sauce, saffron rice with shrimp, chicken francese, and salad for a work retirement party. To keep food hot for an hour before serving, I asked them to split it into smaller trays to fit them on larger ones (I will explain why). I even brought in four complete chafing dish sets (metal frame, large tray, two smaller trays that fit inside, and two burners) the day before, explained how it worked, and they seemed to understand. When I picked up the food, it was all in the largest trays, exactly the size that wouldn't work and I said to them this is upsetting and I tried to explain, the owner called my request "stupid" and "ridiculous," wouldn't let me finish a sentence, talked over me, told me to calm down, take a breath and said things like I regret your order. Take your business elsewhere and leave and write a bad review among other things he said and not in that order! Staff, especially Julio, tried to de-escalate. The manager "Nico" who was on vacation and the front/bar staff were always professional. But the owner today was condescending, disrespectful, and humiliating. I don't know if it's anger issues or an "I'm always right" syndrome, but the way he treated me was unacceptable. Because of that, I will never return, never host another party there, and cannot recommend this place. There are too many good restaurants where you don't get to be yelled at by an owner who tells you to leave and write a bad review.
