Sara and my cocktail moved me from a 3.5 stars to 4. The filet was pretty good and well cooked but it wasn't as tasty as the price would indicate. The grilled shrimp was amazing. Update: when we went to clear out our locker we found more bottles of our wine had disappeared. No one cared. They said "our bad, we'll call you when we are able to replace them" but no one ever did. So we were out the cost of the wine but let it go because it was worth it for us to not ever look back or go there again. They have no integrity at all. read more

Went there on Christmas Day. We ordered four filets all but one was cooked to how we wanted it. I asked for medium well and it came out red, I sent it back and it came back red again. The server also agreed that that was not medium well. The second time it came back they gave me au jus because it was so dried out. They did did not charge me, which I appreciated, but it ruined the entire experience - supposed to be a steakhouse. Similar experience with the other orders. One wanted the filet medium rare, and it was actually not cooked in the middle. It looked like red raw meat. he didn't send it back because he was hungry and he just ate around it. Came for a birthday dinner and had some expensive steaks. The filet mignon was delicious but the prime steak was very chewy. Salad was delish and unique. Mashed potato was very creamy and the lobster mac and cheese was decent. We also ordered parmesan fries and onion rings, you really can't mess those up. Service was good. I made reservations at another steakhouse in vienna for a celebration dinner, but, at the last minute the timeline didn't work. We chose a fancier establishment closer to home in order to align everyone's schedule, ending up at mMortons. Best decision ever. We have been to the other establishments (wildfire) and had a good experience. Mortons was a new experience. It was also the best fine dining I have ever had, from service to food to ambience. The manager (who's name I forgot but he was bald) went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, visiting our table multiple times with recommendations and care. The server, or should I say the serving team, all were experts at their craft and worked together flawlessly. But the real star was the food! I've never had a steak melt in my mouth the way this one did. Every side and appetizer was perfect, with emphasis on the waygu beef dumplings! All in all a fantastic evening that the whole table was raving about. All of my future dinner celebrations will be happening here. No question. 20 out of 10. Would highly recommend! read more

Although I did not eat there tonight, I felt compelled to leave a review of how special the staff made my parents feel on their anniversary night. The second my parents left the restaurant, they texted the family group chat pics of their night at Morton's and called me. They raved about how delicious the steaks, food, and dessert was. They said they felt like the experience, ambiance, and staff were beyond exceptional and will tell all their friends to go. They said they will absolutely be returning, and my husband was easily convinced that we dine there for our first time as well soon too. Ate here for dinner during the week. Loved the atmosphere and our waitress was a true professional despite her young looking age. The biggest complaint was by two dinners and it was on the whiskey list. They were truly disappointed by the lack of options and further disappointed after ordering to find their chosen one was not available. My dirty martini was perfect. My petit filet was perfectly cooked medium rare with blue cheese butter. The side of lobster Mac and cheese was delicious and my favorite. read more

We celebrated my husband's birthday with an early dinner on a Saturday. Bianca took care of us and she was phenomenal. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us just the right amount. They had a birthday card for him and even put a candle on his dessert. The food was delicious. This review is for my last two visits at Mortons - one in Dec 2020 for my promotion celebration dinner and another Jan 2021 to take advantage of Landry's special $45 Lobster and Filet special. The food here is remarkable - there is a reason that this place consistently gets high marks and it's expensive. So, yeah, that is a big turn off for people, yet if you want to have a great consistent steak cooked to perfection and attentive service, this place never lets me down. Food (5/5): For the celebration dinner, we didn't care about the prices, so we ordered a ton of different food: Appetizers: The onion bread that starts the meal is wonderful! The delicate crispy crust is loaded with onions and the whipped butter is fantastic. It makes a mess, but they are quick to clean up the table for you between courses. Bacon wrapped scallops - huge meaty scallops - with bacon! What can be better? Amazing, tender! SRF Wagyu Meatballs - these are delicious and really meaty. Filet - We had the filet mignon both times and it was delicious! My hubs got the Cajun Ribeye and he loved how it was cooked - medium rare and crispy on the outside. The sides are $12 each which seems like a lot, but they serve 2-3 people - we got the Brussels sprouts, the mashed potatoes, which are creamy perfection and the creamed spinach. All were amazing. We got the shrimp add on, at $12 per shrimp, so make sure you really want them before you order! They were large and delicious and it was fun to have this on the side. For the Landry's special, we got steak and lobster for $45 and the lobster tail was really amazing. I loved the melted butter on the side for the lobster and the black truffle butter ($5) is totally worth the add on. For dessert, we got the creme brulee, which was cooked perfectly. My friend got the lava chocolate cake which was worth the 20 min wait for this. Overall, the dinners were wonderful! Atmosphere/COVID: (5/5): All the servers were wearing masks and they seated the diners pretty far apart. I felt pretty safe eating here, even during COVID. Service (5/5): Cindy and Lilliya were amazing servers. We have never been disappointed with the wonderful and attentive service here at Mortons. For my promotion dinner they printed a special menu for us and it was so cute. read more

Absolutely love the food, drinks, happy hour and the service but PLEASE turn DOWN the volume of music in the bar area. There is one high top near the side exit to the patio that has a speaker directly over it. It is impossible to engage in conversation in that area. Please review. The music should be really low. Everyone in the bare area talks louder to be heard over the music. read more

I took my step-mom here to celebrate Mother's Day and like always Morton exceeded my expectations. I was so excited to try their wagyu steak that I demolished it before taking a picture. However, I attached a picture of the Prime New York strip my dad had. According to him it was delicious just like my wagyu steak. The service was incredible. Our server Z was very knowledgeable and happy to answer my questions about the drinks and the different types of steaks. She was also very attentive. I never felt the need to look for her. Top notch atmosphere, a classy retro vibe, outstanding service, and food that is certainly worth the price. My wife and I were in the mood to treat ourselves and really wanted our first time eating inside a restaurant again, to be special. Morton's hit the spot perfectly. The inside seating was handled great, and the servers were all professional, super helpful and passionate about their jobs. The food was exactly what we hoped for. Cooked to perfection, delicious, and full of deep flavors. I haven't been this satisfied by a meal in a long time and we eat out quite often.
