Went on Sunday Night at 7:00 pm and it was seat yourself. We sat where others were and waited. It wasn't busy. Was asked twice if we had been helped and we said no and just sat. Waited for 20 minutes with no help so we left. New to Houston and trying out places near our house. Won't try again. Too many good places with good service to go somewhere with no service. read more

We came here with the fams for my brother's birthday. He was hoping for a brunch they had a while back. Turns out they only do brunch on specific occasions. Even so, we had a nice time out. Wait staff were supper attentive and courteous. The food was solid, as was the beer selection. I'd like to come back on game day or something. I feel like this would be a lively place for sports and holidays. I love my Irish bars. Definitely a solid spot on the northwest side. I gave Mo's one more chance today. I haven't been in months after a series of poor service experiences. I walked in around 12:45pm to a sparsely crowded restaurant, with no one greeting me, and sat at a table. And sat. And sat. I finally got up and left after 10 minutes of being ignored. We came in in between running errands and found this place to be friendly, spacious and had a good combination of different foodies. I did end up ordering the fish and chips and found that they were made really well! They weren't soggy, doughy or made of sadness. There was a good amount of fish and batter and they were crispy. You also get a good portion for what you pay for. There is a good amount of parking and the restaurant is fairly easy to spot with their exterior color scheme. :) They have a good amount of seating and the place is kept fairly clean and organized. The staff are all friendly and are willing to help you as much as they re able. We were greeted right when we walked in and were seated fairly quick (came in on an off time during the week). Our server was friendly and very attentive. He made sure that we got what we requested and that our order came out hot. Our drinks were always filled. If you're wanting a place to take family, friends, co workers and just anyone you like, give this place a try. read more

So many issues at this poorly run business! The only reason I went here was that my daughter requested it before she left town, but we all regretted that decision! First of all, the service is horrible! I should not have to get up and refill my own drink order. Secondly, my order coming out of the kitchen was wrong. That's just attention to detail... Either my waiter goofed or the kitchen is probably run. But the clincher for me and the reason I will not ever return to this restaurant is the number of roaches in the men's restroom. Great, spacious and neat suburbia Irish/sports bar. The service is courteous and super fast, even during packed happy hour afternoons! Their happy hour is the cheapest of the area, good variety of beers and drinks. They don't allow smoking inside, so that's neat. I never formally ate here, although I did have chicken wings once, they were tasty and a good amount for 9 bucks. They have a covered outdoor patio, with plenty of screens everywhere. It can get pretty busy but they manage to have the proper amount of staff for these rush hours. Good variety of music, mostly 80-90's rock, and it does get pretty loud but there is plenty of room and you can always sit outside. read more

Great $5-$6 shots! Service was decent. Restaurant has live music so it can get a bit loud sometimes. Bartenders aren't aware of when to cut a customer off since a two sheriffs had to drag a lady out. I would've held them legally responsible but that just my opinion. read more

Last week, I was at MO's Irish Pub Vintage park with some friends and I was shocked when one of the managers was yelling at a server girl there loundy in front of all the customers. He was a short guy looking for attention. This behavior was uncalled for and we left the place with the intention to never go back there again!!! The corporate should check the floor managers/GM about allowing this behavior towards their employees.Has any one ever faced this type of issue at this restaurant? read more

A little noisy for me at night, but breakfast, they have a bunch of good dishes, it's extremely quiet, and the size of the restaurant means good healthy distances between occupied tables. Their breakfast potatoes are among the best I've found- crispy, just enough seasoning to give them a tiny bit of zing, and there is never one left on my plate. Mo's is also a great place for lunch. Before the zombie apocalypse, it was a favorite place for business lunches, and I still enjoy an occasional lunch there even solo or with a family member. Wonderful burgers!! The outdoor seating area is really a great feature when the weather is cooperating, and their staff is always visible and quick, important when time is limited. read more

Wanted to try it out. Went on a Friday night. Busy but not packed. Seats inside and outdoor patio half full. We sat down and waited. About 10-15 min later the waiter finally shows and takes our drink order. No menus yet, just a drink order. He finally shows back with the drinks and tells is he has no menus. I ask him how should we know what to order and he gets a little pissed and says he can search the restaurant if he has to. I ask if there is a QR code for online and he says he will have to search for that also but he didn't put our drinks in so we can either wait or go without being charged for the drinks. We leave and on the way out I ask the front if they have menus and the kid just stared like a deer in headlights. If you want drinks they look like the place but how can you run a restaurant without menus? read more

My first & maybe only visit. Mo's Irish Pub if this is a representation of how Irish culture is, then it's nothing to celebrate! My self & 2 co-workers thought it would be a great idea to have lunch at Mo's on St. Patty's day. BIG mistake!!! It was very crowded as to be expected on the holiday, not an issue. We were charged a $5 cover just to enter. Had to wait 15 mins just to have a seat. After being seated, we were walked past for another 15 min, before we were spoken to by any of the wait staff. A group came in, sat next to us & were greeted within the 1st 5 min of being seated. After being there now for 30 min, a waitress comes over greets us, takes our drink & appetizer order, & tells us our waiter would be over shortley. 15 min later a waiter brings half our drink order & has us give him our credit cards for our orders BEFORE we order & leaves. After another 10 mins, we had to stop the waiter as he tried to walk past again to make him take our order. A different waiter comes back with the other half of our drink order & gives it to the table next to us. No one ever comes to the table to ask how we're doing, or if we need anything! We have now been there for an entire hour, no food, no drink refills, no acknowledgement whatsoever!! After waiting an hour & 20 min for our order, we can't even eat the food, because our lunch is over. To put a green cherry on top I was overcharged!! I ordered a BOWL of soup for $6 & tea! I was charged $20.... So I paid $25 for bad services & a CUP of soup. Maybe it was because we didn't wear green... either way busy or not that's unequivocally very poor customer service! read more

When it's a special day and event, the front door should never be unmanned. Walked in to ten plus people waiting near the host stand with no one around. My son cannot stand for long periods due to a neuromuscular condition. We had a 1pm reservation. I didn't mind so much having to wait a minute to be seated but checking in and knowing I can find him a place to sit while we wait is preferable. I had to chase someone down to get checked in but we were then promptly seated with our reservation time. Our waitress was friendly and attentive so that was a plus given the first impression with no host at the front door. She refilled drinks, checked in with us and cleared our table. She did not stop moving the whole time we were there - and all with a smile. Food is as expected - good Irish pub type/American food. Chicken tenders were yummy. The shrimp and beef tenderloin were highlights of the buffet as advertised. It was an affordable buffet and an overall pleasant experience. read more

We stopped in for a nightcap and to see the football game in progress. It's your typical sports bar with tables for dining too. I had a mule and my friend ordered a Carmel Latte martini. The martini was dessert-like, with chocolate swirled on the glass, but not worth the $9.50 price tag. I also ordered the house made chicken Dumpling soup. Have your card ready when you order or pay as you go...UNLESS, the bartender likes your smile.l, then they let you order without starting a tab. SUGGESTIONS: Flirt for better service. Ask for names so you can call their name when they're chit chatting with each other. We went there to listen to some 80s music on a Saturday night. Tried to call 5-6 different times for reservations, but their phone was not accepting calls. When we go there they said they were fully booked. After discussing with the manager (who was very rude), we decided we would leave and go somewhere else. The manager came to find us and tried to make the seating right. He apologized and did find seating for us. Then we were told it was a 10 dollar cover and their was a limited (very limited) menu to order food from. We ordered drinks and every time only some of the drinks would come out and each time it was a 20-30 minute wait, saying the bar was backed up. Our bills were wrong and had to be rerun when checking out. We ordered vodka and soda with a splash of cranberry and were charged extra for the "splash" of cranberry. We used to go to Mos a lot, but it has definitely changed and not for the better. My group will not be going back as the entire night was very disappointing. read more

My wife and I went to their Vintage Park location on 11/17/23 for late night drinks and a snack. We were lucky enough to get Mattie N. as our waitress. Attentive, quick to let us know certain things regarding our orders, just sweet. She stopped by before we left to chat. We found her to be endearing and we will ask for her the next time we stop by. Great beer and food - highly recommend the house special, the Mo's Brew along with the Mo's cookie. Jimmy is the greatest server of all time and truly makes the place special - no other server tolerated our Mo jokes (I'll have one mo, etc.) quite like he does. Can here for a guys night with some Neighbors! They don't have real food advertising on the outside so if you're not paying attention at night you'll miss it! But this place is great! Bigger than I anticipated. Nice bar area with real Irish whiskeys! Shout out for having Red breast 12 on the shelf. Atmosphere is very laid back and just gives a nice pub feel without the travel to a real uk pub. Our waitress was polite and attentive. Came by at the perfect time for refills, and just awesome. I had a boxty for dinner. It was pretty good, but it very traditional. But that being said I still destroyed it. Decent prices. Good food, oh try the fried cheese curds!, and good drinks. GENERAL MANGER TREATS STAFF HORRIBLY I worked at this location for about two months until I had enough of the horrible management. I started working at this location the beginning of August, so not very long, but this job has been the worst management I've ever had. Within the first month alone I had multiple horrible experiences with the General manager Randy who is very arrogant and inappropriate. (I'm not the only worker who has had multiple issues with him as well.) First of all within the first week he called me a "retard" because I didn't know how to do something that wasn't shown to me in my training process. Next, I had asked to take some time off to attend a funeral in another state and gave a months notice because I had a death in the family, to which his response was "are you 12?" and said " it's ridiculous for you to take that amount of time off. "When my brother died I only took off one day of work". When he also had previously just let another server leave for a two week vacation, no questions asked. I realize with how new I was, I shouldn't be taking time off but I thought an exception would be made for a death in the family. Regardless, Randy gave no condolences, which I thought was very rude and abnormal for someone to do. Because I decided to go, he took me off the schedule as being a bartender and I was only able to be a server after. Another incident was when I was a server to an extremely rude couple who I was actually very attentive towards-I was continually bringing them drinks and food throughout the night and checking up on them-and I had multiple servers vouch for me about that. But, the last five minutes the couple was eating, I had to go do something in the back then I came back and I asked him if they were ready to close out and then the man very rudely started bickering at me telling me I took too long, even though it was five minutes, and proceeded to write no tip in bold across my receipt then left. The next day this man apparently wrote a review saying that I only tended to them once in the two hours that they were at the restaurant, which couldn't be further from the truth. My General manager Randy, called me in his office, accused me of hiding the receipt from him and told me that I was lying about hiding it from him, even though we don't hold on to the receipts that don't have tips on them. Nor would I have a reason to hide the receipt. He ended up voiding the guys meal and told me I owed him $70 for it. I spoke to other servers that said that they've had similar experiences with him. One server had told me she had had a group of people with a tab of over $100 worth of alcohol that walked out on her, and he tried to make her pay for it (she's also not 21 and can't even legally buy alcohol )Another instance was when I started working at MO's I was 3 months postpartum, and Randy had said to me "How do you look like that when women who have kids don't look good and look messy and gross."which I found extremely offensive for him to even make a comment like that. I've also spoken to multiple of the servers who had claimed Randy had made very inappropriate comments on their bodies. Telling one sever that she "had a fat **s. Lastly there was a time I asked him if he had wanted some food that I rang in wrong which to his response was "no I don't want Mexican cooties" because of the chefs. Joke or not that should never be said in a "professional work environment". He has made multiple remarks like this. Not only is it racist but extremely childish. I feel for all the workers, because they are all amazing and deserve much better management. Randy puts on a major facade in front of guests. Multiple people have spoken up about this to corporate including me but unfortunately nothing has been done about it. 2 other servers quit for the same reason as well. read more
