We order from moshi moshi all the time. We are usually pretty satisfied however today we ordered the crispy rice and the shrimp wontons and the crispy rice was terrible. There was sooooo much rice that was not crispy at all and there was no tuna. We called them to let them know and they blew us off and told us to contact Uber eats instead. This has been a local (SOBE) favorite for years. The food is consistently good and delicious.

The menu wasn't very clear. I ordered ramen and on one menu it said it was made with fish broth and the other menu said chicken broth, when it came out it smelled very bad and was very hard to eat. I ended up sending it back and the waitress was very nice and took it off of our bill. The place was very clean and nice and it was overall a good experience. This place is awesome!The food is amazing. The decor is appetizing, thrilling and edgy in a fun way. Most importantly the service was excellent.We sat outside at first but once we saw the beautiful low to the ground traditional Japanese seating indoors we moved. I loved sitting in the booth with our shoes off in traditional Japanese style. The booth gave us a cozy and very private feeling. The service is excellent. The waiter was so kind and attentive. It's open 24 hours a day so I am totally perplexed how they maintain this level of excellence nonstop. My favorite item was the green tea mochi. YUM! You've got to try it! We decided to visit Moshi Moshi for sushi dinner based on the good Yelp reviews. The sushi prices here were more reasonable than other places we checked out. We ordered the spicy salmon roll, eel avocado roll, salmon sashimi platter, and hot sake. After tax and tip it came out to about $57. liked how they were accommodating with the sashimi platter. Usually the salmon sashimi is $3 per slice. They were okay with us ordering the assorted sashimi platter but just with salmon instead. Everything tasted great and the service was great too! We went to this restaurant 2 nights in a row in our trip to Miami. Everyone in our group was very happy with the food. Many choices on the menu and everything we tried was very yummy. The Yellowtail Ceviche is super yummy. In addition to sushi the also have Ramen, stir fried noodles, fried rice and Japanese curries plus Yakitori and Ishiyaki. Service was very good also. This is one that I am surprised is ranked with a four star rating. I am being pretty generous with the three stars. I ordered it via Uber Eats. I got a Dragon Roll and two Crunching Krab Rolls (they were buy 1 get 1 free). The Krab rolls had very little fake crab and were filled with crunchy material. They just weren't very good. Plus Moshi Moshi must have had a shortage on wasabi, because they sent nearly zero of this. The really disappointing one was the Dragon Roll though. Yikes. Every other dragon roll I have ever had has unagi. Ok, I should have looked, but this one had asparagus. What? Who wants asparagus on a sushi roll, not me. Authentic asian cuisine with booths that practice Asian culture of taking off shoes, with tables no more than 3ft from the ground. Homey feel with the lights turned down low and a red hue grazed upon this little den. Fredy was our server and he never allowed our cups of water to be empty and brought a genuine smile to the experience. The array of tapas, sushi rolls, sashimi, and even appetizers offered on the menu was extensive, unique, and made my mouth water. I ordered the salmon traditional roll and the BBQ Eel Specialty roll. They both were very satisfying, made my taste buds do the macarena. The rice wasn't bland or too sticky but wasn't too greasy where it fell apart. They both were packed with flavor. Even the spicy mayo and eel sauce was light, didn't drown the sushi of its goodness. I try to stay away from cream cheese in sushi but it was airy and did it justice. Considering it was on Washington Ave, the prices were hard to beat, deff cheap in that sense! Gratuity is not automatically added like a lot of those in SoBe, but they do make it apparent to remind of tipping (circled tip percentage legend on receipt). More than a mouthful. (That's what she said!) The specialty rolls here are hardly a graceful task to eat. My attentive and sweet waitress kept dropping by to check on me, and every time she caught me awkwardly trying to shove each piece of sushi into my mouth, which I had trouble closing every time. (Warning: Do not eat if you have a stuffy nose. You may just pass out.) If I were to do it all again, I'd pass on the conch ceviche (a little too tangy and acidic) but I'd order the Hiro Roll (Lobster, krab, cream cheese, tobiko, spicy mayo) once again, breathing problems and all. It's lunch in South Beach and it seems like all I ever want to eat is Sashimi, Ceviche and sushi. It's my south beach diet. We picked a table on the street to people watch. I ordered the large got sake, which was great for house sake. We ordered the Yellow Tail Ceviche. These Latin inspired ceviches - Japanese fusion style are just about the best thing in Miami. I love that the Sushi spots offer Ceviche and Tirradito. What is Tirradito? Derived from the word tirar, which means "to throw," tiradito is the Peruvian cousin to crudo, sashimi, and ceviche. This raw seafood dish can be executed with a wide variety of fresh catch, from white-fleshed fish to shellfish and even octopus. Seafood is prepared in wafer-thin slices, and dressed cold with a light marinade that typically includes lime juice, and may also include olive oil, ginger, and various ají peppers. So we order the Ahi Tuna Tirradito with asian pear, shiso leaf and sweet and spicy soy sauce. It's amazing. The pieces of sashimi melt in your mouth. To add a little rice to our all fish diet, we order the Spicy Tuna Roll. It was quite good, but I go all the way with hella wasabi - cause I like it HAWT. read more
