Back at again and satisfied. However 1. was not given a parking permit at checkin , received a warning ticket and had to go back into the office to get one (which was very inconvenient)2. My room was bug free (but did see a dead roach in the hallway )3. Room was clean (but did find hair on one of the towels)3. Staff was friendly ( however another guest had a complaint regarding the room not being clean when guest stay more than a night- as have been mention on other reviews , so that is definitely something they have to work on. 4. The rooms are modernized with no carpeting....great for cleanliness and as they are pet friendly, much better with wood like flooring. My stay here so far is 5 days and if possible I will extend. The staff is very professional, friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable. The assistant General Manager, J.T. is not only kind, she is also beautiful inside and out. Great location with lots of places to eat nearby--McDonald's, Rally's, a Chinese food place, you name it, it's probably near. Gas station down the street and the Circle K were convenient to have close as well. Hotel is right off the freeway, so that was a plus. Check-in was fast, as was check-out. The staff is friendly, ready to answer questions or help. We didn't mind much else because all we really needed were a clean place to shower and sleep, so this place did the job for us. This is one of worst visits I've had at any Motel 6. When I first checked in, I asked to book me for two nights and my card was charged right after. I was not asked not once by the front desk if I wanted a single bed or double bed for two adults. Then, the next day I took off for a bit and when I returned to my room I found that my key was no longer working and all my belongings were missing. When I spoke to the front desk she looked up my account and turns out I was only charged for one night. So not only was the front desk lady not paying attention when I checked in, I had to haul all my belongings back to my room once again!! Not once was I notified by phone or asked why my belongings were still in the room if I was only charged one night?! This was a real inconvenience and I was charged another $100 and not even compensated for the huge inconvenience! It was a mistake on their end for not listening when I asked to book 2 nights yet I was the one who had a minor panic when I found my stuff was missing and my key no longer worked!!! Never again will I stoop down to this Motel at such costs. read more

COMPLETELY MISLEADING RATINGS! I saw the ratings here aswell as there wasn't much else available this weekend anywhere near long beach so I booked it! I so regret not just paying the extra $20 at the 7th street location! It's SOOOO much better than this filth bucket! The guy was helpful at check in but he told me to come get towels from office at 6 then I got there & was told to come at 9pm wtf? The toilet isnot flushing after being gone for hours suddenly! I called & Josie told me she'd have to call maintenance & not sure if they'd come tonight or not when I 1st got here the toilet had poop on the seat & the sink was dirty aswell as the floor not swept or mopped the half asz house keeping came & said this is motel 6 apparently meaning the floor n everything else should be dirty n I shouldn't expect more! Then she started sweeping towards my son & I's feet while in the rr where I was showing her the nasty sink! The staff other than that guy has been super rude & unprofessional this place sucks asz! Ran down n hood also it's 1 foot from the freeway so I'm sure all we'll hear is engines all night I fuked up this time! Oh & the Mexican lady came to clean off the poop with no cleaner just a dry towel she took it and wiped the top & bottom of the toilet seat then the handle then the sink where were supposed to sit our tooth brushes I can't wait to check outta this trashy motel. There was curly hairs all over the floor. The covers feel ruff like there's little worn balls on it! God I hope we don't get bed bugs! Currently I'm staying at this motel because they are the only motel/hotel in my area that allow dogs with availability. I also made this reservation for a full 7 days because I'm staying here until the lease on my new place starts on the 6th of March. When I made the reservation online for $500 bucks I was almost positive it said free wifi which I need because I have online classes. When I checked in I asked for the wifi code and the guy working at the front informed me wifi was $2.99 every 24 hours and after I expressed that I thought it was free he gave me a password and comped me for 24 hours. He told me it would not start until I activated the code. Tonight when I finally had free time from work to get onto the Internet and complete some of my online class I went to put in the code and it said it had been used. I called the front desk and spoke to MAIRA I tried to inform her of the issue and she refused to give me another code as if I was trying to scam her over $2.99 she told me I had used the code already. I tried to explain the situation and she treated me like I was nothing. I have never experienced such horrible customer service at a motel/hotel before especially after paying $500 for the week...The first question that popped into my head was why the hell would I lie about $2.99 when I just spent $500. I will be calling tomorrow morning when the guest relations is open to file a formal complaint on the way I have been treated. I didn't expect excellent service from a place like this but I did expect to be treated with some respect after paying a half grand to stay here for the week. I have not caused any problems the whole time I have been here though I constantly see prostitutes going in and out of the surrounding rooms. You would think the front desk staff would be a little less ghetto since they are employees haha that is not the case. Motel 6 is usually a great motel to stay at, typically, but this one in Bellflower has to be one of the worst experiences ever! Not only do I stay at this resort often, but every time I come there's always something wrong. First night I stayed here with my sister and her husband we went down to the pool for a swim in the afternoon after leaving the pool unattended for 5-10 min. his brand new nikes got tooken! We assumed that they were stolen and tried to contact the lost and found, but there was no trace of them until we came for another visit the following week and one of the housekeepers had them and washed! Ridiculous... The following night we recovered the shoes everything was going nice and smooth until one of the beds spelled like piss! Makes sense why when we checked in the housekeeper was still in the room and the room spelled extra nice... hmmm... he went downstairs to complain but take in mind my brother-in-law had just flown in from a late night flight from San Jose and was extremely exhausted, we got a new room, but still having to deal with this at midnight isn't pleasant. The only benefit of the hotel was how convient all the stores are. read more

This was the worst motel 6 I ever stayed at. When I got to my room I was happy about the size but it was about 10 flies in the room didn't think to much into it because I figured the cleaning crew may clean in the rooms with the door open. Later that night get ready for bed and a roach came out of nowhere,it freaked me out but I was tired after driving for hours my last night there another roach was seen but this time on the headboard of the bed I was in, I took a picture and called down to the office she offered to switch the room but it was one in the morning and again I was tired. The shower curtain had a very bad odor. I check out early Monday morning and the lady who answered the night before was really sweet credited me back some money. I wasn't asked any question which made me believe this is common. The other young Hispanic girl was very rude to the older lady that work there who needed help smh. This Motel 6 has always gotten mixed reviews. If you want to be pampered, you've got to pay for it. When I'm in town for a concert and don't want to make the 100 mi drive back home, this is the ideal place. No frills. Place to sleep. Close to the freeway. In and out. Thank you. The WORST motel 6 I have ever stayed at. Unprofessional managers, non existent security. In 2 days someone got beat up in one of the rooms and ran out bloody and naked and another person was trying to break in the rooms. The room I stayed in had knats in the light fixtures. If you stay more than one day just know that "housekeeping" will invade your room ( they don't have do not disturb signs) even if you tell them that you don't need their services for the day and go through your things. Check inventory of your things before you check out, I noticed a few of my things missing after I declined housekeeping services but they intruded anyway. General manager Noemi seems racially discriminatory. Several Hispanic families seem to live on site but I observed a Black person asking about weekly rates but was told that they would need to check out. The rooms are non smoking but the Hispanics who live on site are allowed to smoke in the rooms????? read more

The first room we got had stains on the blankets and holes from cigarettes in them and it smelled like marijuana. So we tried to get our money back so we could find a new place to stay but they wouldn't let us. so we got a new room assigned and when my bf opens the door some lady in the bed yells "who's that!". Gave us a room that was already taken! So she gives us the one right next door. And as we are sitting there a roach crawls across the floor. That was the final draw. Stayed here after a long flight. This property is Very close to Airports, rental car agencies. Super convenient to airport and freeways. Parking was well lit. Room clean and quiet. Room was decent and most of the staff was nice except for the lady Mildred. Mildred rented room to 18 year old kids if they scored her a 10 when the policy clearly stated 21 yrs and older. She also was talking to guests and telling them that military people are rude and cocky and she knows from experience since her boyfriend is military. This was so unprofessional. Also another guest asked for the manager and she told them she was the manager if she is a manager she certainly should not be talking about people and she should learn to speak English better. Took us 30 minutes to check in, she is so slow and rude and should not be working front desk maybe she belongs in housekeeping. Spoke to other guests while i was waiting in line and they also had negative comments about this lady. Someone needs to do something about her and fast you are loosing customers since i will never go back and i will be sure not to recommend this hotel unless she is not working there.
