Drove from San Pedro to Concord Ca because of the good pricing I received on a RZR. Gabe was great and very helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

Went to buy my SxS here after going somewhere else first because my brother was buying his the same day at a different dealership and the customer service there was horrible, we got to concord Polaris and were helped by Jeff who was great, everyone there was friendly and they even loaded the machine up for us unlike where my brother go his, they gave him the keys and walked away, here they didn't leave our side till we were loaded and ready to go, not only do they have the best prices but their customer service is top notch!

I wouldn't spend another dime with this place. They like to give you a song and dance until they have your money and then your yesterday's trash. The wiring on the trailer that they installed for the trailer brakes was shotty and dangerous! While hooking up the trailer for our second trip out the wires caught fire and the break away battery exploded. Instead of terminating the wires on the wire terminals the factory box provides, they used household wire nuts. They also did not seal the housing and a lite rain was able to penetrate to those crappy connections and short the system out. You might save a couple bucks going with these guys, but is it worth the safety of you or others on the road?

DO NOT COME HERE…read more Worst customer service experience I've had with a Honda authorized Power Equipment dealer. Honda's website lists them as an authorized dealer, and before making the trip, I CALLED and spoke directly with their service person. He specifically told me to bring my Honda generator in. I drove all the way from Dublin during rush hour--about an hour--based on what THEY told me. When I arrived, I waited while they located the service person. He then told me to bring the generator around, so I went back to my car and drove it up to unload it. Only then, as I was about to take the generator out, he suddenly stopped me and said, "Oh, wait--I was just told we don't service recalls anymore." Are you kidding me? You told me to drive all the way there, had me wait, told me to bring the generator around, and THEN decided to tell me you wouldn't service it? No meaningful apology. No attempt to make the situation right. No offer of any accommodation after wasting hours of my time. Instead, I was told I could drive even farther--to Stockton. Completely unacceptable customer service and an unbelievable waste of time. Based on my experience, I would give ZERO stars if that were an option. DO NOT COME HERE.

I came in and talked to Richard and he is knowledgeable/ honest about the bikes. He isn't pushing you to buy a bike, he just wants to give you all the details to make you feel comfortable in your purchase. Most of these bikes are bought at auctions and then brought to this shop to go through their inspection and then resold. The first bike I bought was a 2006 Honda CBR1000 w/ aftermarket OEM fairings. Had the bike for just little over 60 days when the lower fairing flew off when riding down the freeway. Went back to J&M and said that I don't feel safe on this bike if parts can fly off the bike while riding without any warnings. The shop mechanic Daniel said he is willing to take the bike in on a trade and since they treated me fair I accepted and got a 07 Suzuki GSXR 600. This bike was mechanically and cosmetically sound. I was beyond excited to have the bike and put almost 1000 miles on the bike before another safety incident happened. My clutch cover engine case cracked and the clutch was completely inoperable. By the grace of God, I was only pushing the bike in neutral out of my garage when I heard the crack. I reached back out to the shop mechanic Daniel and he said he'd take a look at it. There was a bolt that wasn't properly loctite glued in place and that's what caused my clutch to give out and case to break. He had a spare cover and bolt in stock and once again came through to help me. After test riding the back and making sure everything was safely operable he gave the bike back to me. He did let me know that this wasn't caught by him nor his team because it isn't apart of their safety inspection. I'll admit when it happened I was highly upset that I had a second safety issue with a bike I bought from them. But Daniel and his team at J&M were empathetic and still made sure that I was taken care of. Overall, I still can firmly recommend J&M Motorsports to anyone. What happened to me with the bikes I got from J&M could have happened to anyone who got their bike elsewhere. Just look at Harley Davidson. They just had a recall on the 2017 bikes they made because the oil line came apart causing people to crash. So the fact that I got a preowned bike from J&M and they still took care of me even after I purchased the bike is what I call excellent customer service.

This is going to be a long review so if you want the short version here it is. I drove eight hours round-trip to pick up my bike from these guys even though I had closer dealer options and I would do it all over again. Great prices, better people. Now for the longer version. I did some price shopping within about a 4 to 5 hour loop of my home in Reno. There were two reasons I was willing to make the drive down to Livermore for the purchase of my bike. Not only was the price worth the eight hour round-trip, but when I spoke to the owner, Mike on the phone, his service, knowledge, and friendliness was the icing on the cake. When I arrived, I was greeted at the door by name and was immediately taken to my bike to check out before doing any paperwork. Unfortunately, with my timing, I arrived right as KTM's system went down. Mike and two other techs troubleshooted for just over an hour, but the system would not get the bike out of dealer mode. I'm no stranger to technical problems and completely understand that it was out of their hands, but there was no lack of effort from his side. He didn't just say "oh the systems down come back tomorrow, he took the time to trouble shoot it for over an hour until past closing time. KTM's online support is based in Ohio a couple hours ahead of Livermore so unfortunately they were unable to help that evening. Mike said they would have it unlocked first thing in the morning when they got in contact with tech-support and that he would purchase me a hotel room for the night or I had the option to take the bike home with the dealer lock still on it and he would arrange for my local dealer to unlock it. I opted for the second option. I received a call from Mike the next morning letting me know who to ask for at my local dealer because they were expecting me. Mike was also extremely knowledgeable about the bike and gave me a full rundown of the dashboard and effectively answered all of the questions that I had because I was not used to a bike with that much technology on it.

These are the personal touches that make a difference. I had a small issue with the service department and I think it was more of a misunderstanding than anything else. Mike is working with me now and I believe we will get this figured out. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a high-quality machine at a reasonable price thank you Cal Moto for all your help and also for being there with any future problems that may occur Tony ( from Manteca)
