The Lehmer's Concord is excellent. We have purchased our "family" cars including 3 Buick Enclaves SUV over the years. Founded in 1936, the Lehmer's family has been selling and servicing cars for 5 generations! Wow! Impressive track record. Since our son went to college and we became "Empty Nesters", I wanted a small car since I no longer needed a SUV. I enjoyed our Enclaved and so did the two we had stolen over the years! So I was in the market for a Smartcare or mini cooper for city driving in San Francisco and especially for parking easily. Well, my wife did some research and wasn't about to let me get a "clown car". She did discover the Buick had created a new model the "Envista". Went to Lehmer's Concord Buick given the excellent deals and service we gave received over the past decade. We been VERY disappointed with both the deals and services we have had with Buick dealers in San Francisco and the peninsula. So it is worth the drive and effort go to Concord every few years. I test drove the 2024 Envista in 2023 and was very delighted by its solid drive, handling, sporty feel & look. We decided to get one! My wife drives a Audio S5 convertible and I exclusively drive us for farmers market, groceries and veterinary visits. The Envista are relatively "rare" and the 1st years I drove it people would yell "beautiful car! I thought it was a Lamborghini!" Well, needless to says it is a stunning model and after looking up what a current Lamborghini looks like and cost, I agree! But I saved about $350,000 buy getting the Envista! Team at Lehmer's have ALWAYS been very smart, helpful and friendly. I worked for a Lincoln Dealership in Bethesda, Maryland in the 1970s so I do have some insights into what it takes to run a successful car dealership and these are very high functioning with all systems go! read more

Update time: of course we got a lousy call from the dealership trying to get us to waste our time there again. Emily seemed uninterested in anything we had to say about the whole experience. We took it down to Concord Chevrolet instead. The other dealership was extremely professional, called us back same day to let us know there is a very obvious oil pan leak and timing chain cover leak. Typical bait and switch merchants. Installed lo-jack and clear coat and demandedextra payment for it. I requested they remove it and they told me that's not technically possible (completely untrue), then when I challenged them on that they admitted it was possible but that they simply won't remove it. Beware of Lehmers. I purchased my New Sierra Denali EV from Lehmers on 5/23/25. On 10/5/25 I brought my truck in for a tire rotation . One hour later I was informed that two of Lehmers service employees crashed my truck and another customers vehicle. See photo. From day, one I requested that Lehmers replace my truck with a new truck since I had just recently purchased it from them. I did not want a repaired vehicle due to their negligence. Darren the GM told me that he had to wait for the insurance company. I again requested that he replace my truck asap. For six weeks I was told that we have to wait for their insurance company. At that point they decided to declare the truck a total loss due to the severity of the damage. It has now been three months and I'm still waiting for them to do the right thing and replace my truck. I submitted an online inquiry regarding leasing and was connected with a representative named Neo, we spoke about what I was looking for and had a nice conversation. The quote I requested was to include multiple mileage options, which makes having it in writing even more important for proper comparison and evaluation. I asked to have the quote sent by email, but instead received a text from Jonathan that said he valued my time and if there's anything holding me back to let him know. When I asked again to have the quote emailed, Jonathan's response was "Due to the competitive nature of the business, we do not provide written quotes..but I am happy to hop on a call to go over the numbers with you." As consumers, we are protected by Federal laws such as the Consumer Leasing Act (CLA), which requires that lease costs and terms--including initial payments, fees, mileage limits, and end-of-lease options--be clearly disclosed in writing. This information should always be provided in a written format so customers can carefully review and fully understand the agreement before making any commitment. Especially when it's requested multiple times. It's nice that the dealership advertises on local sports channels and supports high schools their owners are alumni of. However, they should also be transparent about the fact that they are not consumer-friendly and often act in ways that primarily benefit themselves rather than the customer. It is also essential to know costs before test-driving a vehicle or making any in-person visits, so time and effort are not wasted on unclear or undisclosed terms. read more

This place lied to us. We asked for info on vehicle. They claimed it had been serviced only to find that they buried an AAMCO record from dec 2025 stating the transmission needs replacement. It also came with a nest of ants as it had been parked under a tree. Never the less thus us unacceptable and they are thieves. If I could give them a zero I would. I took my 100k dually in for a smog issue at 35k miles. I was told by the service rep. "Marty" that he couldn't help me and to go to a dealer closer to my home. Well, I did! I got rid of my 100k problem and purchased a new 2025 F 350 and was treated like gold. I have purchased 4 NEW vehicles from Lehmers since 2006 and feel the customer service has gone downhill to the dogs! Never will I be a loyal customer to Lehmers again, they showed their true colors. When you make an appointment for service , don't be surprised if you call 4 days later to check on your vehicle only to find out that your appointment for Wednesday didn't mean your car would be serviced on Wednesday ; it just meant you had an appointment to speak to advisor Emily . I was particularly disappointed with service work done by Lehmer's earlier this year. We were dealing with a seemingly straightforward issue with the radio electrical (not turning off after shutting down the car and opening the door) and yet, I kept being informed of the need to authorize more and more evaluation and inspection work at increasingly mounting expense. Eventually, after paying a material four digit amount with zero progress, I moved the vehicle to a different mechanic who immediately identified that it was simply a pinched wire in the door. read more

Terrible customer service! I don't Not recommend this place at all. Took my truck on to get checked and find out an issue with a clicking noise that seems to come from the transmission. I emailed them a video of the noise to facilitate their work. Video attached below. Emily (my service person in charge) called back a few days later saying that they can't find the noise and that I needed to go there to drive test the truck with their technician to duplicate the noise because their technician couldn't find the issue. I leave far away and I'm also running a business, I can't come just to drive test the car when they are the experts and it's being covered by my bumper to bumper insurance. Why should I come over and find the issue for them? Emily, called me again on 03/19/24 to tell me to return the free rental ASAP and if I don't I was going to start getting charged, basically threatening me and with a very rude tone. I went today 3/20/24 to pick up my truck after more than a week there and they didn't work on my truck. Not only they returned the truck extremely dirty, but also damaged. One of the side pieces of trim by the door was about to fall (showed to one of their members there he took a picture). Bottom line they let me go with a malfunctioning truck. As soon as I turned the truck on (still at their dealer parking at the service area) the clicking noise was there. They told me nothing they can do at that time and let me drive the truck home at their own risk. As I'm driving the truck home the noise is there and the piece of trim is making noise with the wind and flapping about to fall off. I Stoped to put gas and found a big scratch by the hood as well (picture below) This was an extremely frustrating and bad experience. read more

I drove 2 hours to buy a car that I had been talking with the dealership for a week about. Before leaving my house I made sure to let them know what time I would arrive. When I arrived, they couldn't find my salesperson and the car was dirty (coffee spilt and dried on the back seat). I asked about a remote for the tv in the car and they told me that they would check inside and when I got inside I asked for the missing remote and was told it wouldn't be inside, it would be in the car. This company uses bait-and-switch to get you in their door, the price listed on their website and other websites is not transparent. Be prepared to pay $1,200 on top of the price you see for a Lojack system. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. read more

The service department took care of me and my truck, very efficient and professional. The parts department was outstanding, a shout out to Mike G.! He assisted me making sure I was ordering the correct parts and only the parts required. Most of the parts arrived a few days later, he called to inform me that they had arrived and were available for pick up. Additionally, there were parts that were out of stock that were ordered from the manufacturer. The Parts Manager Deanna, directly involved herself, and placed a priority order on the parts. She kept me in the loop by providing updates to the order, any info that was available from the manufacturer she passed along to me. I run a business and I assume that this company would be fair so I brought my car here to get repaired. I needed it to be done. They quoted me $1500 for the labor that took about two hours. I paid it, but I'll never do business here again. The bill was actually $1600 all in. Can't say it was great service and definitely not a fair price. read more

I despise having to write a review like this! But I hope to prevent anyone from dealing with this ridiculous situation and unprofessional Service Staff. I very much regret using this company to repair my Yukon. The engine was excessively noisy , so I took it in under a warranty repair on February 6, 2025 after scheduling an online appointment, which they could not find in their system. They said if I left it they would get to it asap, which turned out to be a week or so later. While checking in with service advisor Marty, we were telling him our dog had recently destroyed our entire 2nd and 3rd row seating, and we were going to take it to a body shop where we could get it repaired . Marty offered to estimate and deal with our insurance for that , which was great at the time . I was crystal clear to Marty that the two repairs were totally separate ; I did not want him to start any repairs on the seats until after all of the parts to complete the job were there and ready to go. I authorized Marty to complete the engine warranty repair, and reiterated that I needed to pick up the Yukon as soon as that was done. I would bring it back when all of the Seat parts were in. He completely ignored my simple request. They started taking the seats out before the engine repair - and I'm still waiting for a part to fix it ! They still have my third row seats and partial second row just sitting in the shop!! Still dealing with this mid-May! When I was finally able to pick up vehicle - 5 weeks after my appointment, I noticed 3 large dings on the left front fender/door area. I immediately showed Marty, and he was in complete denial. Says that technician would be fired if the dings had happened there ... made me feel like I would be responsible for a tech losing his job if I pressed the issue... really uncomfortable feeling ... but there were no dings there prior to drop off, and there were none noted on my initial paperwork,nor did I ever see or sign anything noting dings. Four months in, and I have not received one phone call from the Service Manager on how they suggest the dings be removed. My seat part is there now, I've asked if the ding repair and ding removal can be done at the same time to avoid further long periods of being without vehicle that we need for towing , family trips . Etc. I was in the industry for a long time, and I have never ever treated a customer so poorly ! It's wrong. I have many texts showing all of this info and complete lack of customer care. It's a shame - we want to support local businesses ! But but at this high price . read more

The only reason I'm even giving it a 3 is because of the sales rep. This has nothing to do with him as he was amazing and deserves 5 stars. Chico was very helpful from the beginning when I called went to touch the car to make sure it was on the lot and even came in on his day off which was a Sunday to make the deal happen. He was on top of everything without hesitation. On the other hand we just bought a 2024 Yukon XL Denali 3 weeks ago and was told that everything was inspected with no issues found. I noticed the puddle lamps under the driver and passenger seats were just hanging, I was told that it's just missing zip ties which I can just put on since service was closed so they couldn't get any (no big deal). It was not hot in concord so we did not think to use ac. But we live in the valley over an hour away where it does get hot. So next day was pretty warm so we turned it on and was blowing hot air. When I called and spoke to a manager I was asked if I bought extended warranty (which I did but shouldn't have mattered as this is something that should have been inspected before selling). Was told to take it in, mind you I work 6am-6pm so my wife had to drive with our 3 small kids including a 5month old to deal with this. Issue was found to be that the ac condenser had a small hole in it and somehow slipped through the cracks of inspection. They did not have the part so she had to go back again the next day with the kids to pick it up. 3 weeks later I am getting a call saying I need to take the car back in because somehow it again slipped through the cracks and did not get the smog test done. I also noticed the frame has a good amount of rust and I was told it's common especially knowing where the car was bought from (mind you it's a 2024 so should not have any). This is not only a waist of time and miles having to drive back and forth but ridiculous when you are spending over 80K, seems like the vehicle was not inspected and hoping nothing else is messed up or missed that will pop up in the future. read more
