One of the women's bathrooms was deplorable. Not every ride had a staff person. I understand that places cannot find staff, but we paid for a limited amount of time and had to wait for staff. Our 2 year old granddaughter couldn't ride ANY of the rides in the kiddy area. At least 3 rides that all of our kids could have ridden were out of order. Staff left gates open while they were strapping kids in and then letting them start driving without making sure other kids were not walking in the raceway. One ride had more cars out of order than they had working. Other cars in other areas had parts that were not properly secured. There were areas that looked like a junk yard for the cars that no longer worked. Very disappointed especially for the price. read more

Nice thought of opening such kind of park but the attendants are not really attending the people ( specially kids). No seat belts were being checked before starting the race. Overall not too bad. We brought our 3 kids to spend a few hours out (13,15 and 20). They had fun, especially the 13 yr old. Quite a few tracks and lots of cars. Didn't wait long for any of the rides. Don't think it was worth the $52 3 hour pass charge but it kept the kids busy for a while. Definitely could use some updating around the park. This place was terrible. We used to live here years ago and it was so nice. We were visiting in town and took the kids here. The only thing they wanted to do were bumper boats. When we got there we found they were no longer offered. This wasn't mentioned anywhere on their website. The mini golf water smelled strongly of urine and we lost 4 balls on the course due to broken holes that they got stuck in. The whole place just looked overgrown, run down and unkept which it shouldn't for the price of things there. I would not go there. read more

This place could use a bit of an update. It looking old & run down. This is our second trip. It's not too busy. Games & rides are insanely expensive. The food this time was disappointing. The fries are no longer the boardwalk fresh cut fries but dry steak fries. We ordered the funnel cake and the dough used was clearly past its expiration date (very sour with a horrible aftertaste) AND the funnel cake was fried too hard, it was potato chip hard. There are tons of bees, would be nice if they invested in those bug zappers. We only go for the kids. The kids are now over it, I doubt we'll return next year. read more

We went there and it was over priced. Then after 2 rides it started to pour. We thought the rides were supposed to keep going because the ticket booth said the park does not close because of rain. However, when we tried to go on more rides there were no attendants to help get started which meant they were closed. We tried to get a refund because it rained for an hour and the rides weren't going to start up but were refused a refund because "we used a ride and the park was open," however on arrival we had to have the manager yell at his workers to tell them to get back to work. A manger shouldn't have to yell in front of his customers to his workers to do their job. The managers were all very rude, not helpful, and in fact just dumb because when we told them they didn't uphold what their policy said they had no arguments as to why they couldn't refund us!!! read more

My husband and I spent almost $300 ( we didn't plan on spending but we did it for our four boys) we spent $125.00 on a coupon book just to turn around and fork out another $120 on bands... we had already read the reviews about how over priced the food was but because we had been running around with the kids we just went ahead and ordered food! Long story short it took over an 1 HOUR, to get our first order and the young lady didn't get the second order right!!! Go Karts! Even if you drive for a living, I can't think of anyone who doesn't think Go Karts are fun. So Motor World is of course pretty fun. There are several tracks designed for kids, adults and more experienced Go Kart riders. Since there really aren't too many other places in the city where you can ride Go Karts, Motor World pretty much has the market locked down. Located right next to Ocean Breeze water park, Motor World can be part of a really fun day for kids or people who just want to act like kids for a while. Like everywhere else affected by inflation, Motor World will require you to up a few bucks, so plan accordingly if you're financing a group or thinking about throwing a party. But if you've got some extra cash, Motor World is something new and fun that will get your adrenaline pumping and a smile on your face. read more

Motor world has its advertising all over the radio stations with flyers all over. Getting a straight price to enjoy the many tracks was quite confusing. To make matters a bit worse, the ticket booth is in the park through the mini carnival games which are expensive. Simply put, the races are all $7 a piece with a few exceptions. The tracks are normally based off minutes of driving vice laps. There is a track that is two tickets a lap. Each ticket is one dollar. As a group of four, we were looking at doing 3 races at $7 a race. The ticket attendant told us a pack of 100 would work at $93. My calculator math told me it would be cheaper to just pay the $7 per race because the total for that was $84. Simply put, be mindful of the variations of costs. You can also use tickets in bumper boats and the sky flyer. They do have a decent looking paintball field and the 36 holes of minigolf looks pretty amazing. If don't want to spend a whole lotta money, then don't plan on staying too long here. Oh, and they have an arcade. read more

Well, we had a blast here. I think there is a strategy to be used. First of all, get there as soon as they open. It's not that tough, really, since they open at 10am on the weekends. At least they did the Saturday we went. The only down side is that the people who work there are still clearly hung over. Mary is right, the girl in the ticket booth was the most unhelpful person ever. She has no concept of anything in the park; not how long a ride takes, how many rides there are, anything. Of the remaining 25 or so workers, I encountered one (1!) who actually smiled and seemed nice. The rest were jokers. So back to the strategy. Get there early, and then buy a 2-hr all you can ride pass. The park doesn't start to fill up until after noon. We easily got in 15 or 20 rides. The pass doesn't let you ride the two speediest rides there, but that is not why we went, so we were pretty happy. read more

Haven't been here in 4 years. I use to do the euro track all the time with a bunch of friends back when Sunday thunder was around. Anyways I can't believe the races are only 6 mins now at the euro track. The karts are really hard to turn. They need to be adjusted. I took my kids to the main area kart area. They had the three hour bands. I was not happy with the workers. Most of them on the phone. There was not a worker at the bumper boats. I asked the worker at sky coaster if somebody worked there he was like yes. Then I said no one was there. He was like I work in here. I was like can't you call somebody to get there. He didn't even want to help. A lot of the workers now are not friendly like they used to be. This was upsetting. A lot has changed and not for the better. Okay, I definitely had fun (I was with excellent company), and I liked putting my quarter in the slot for my colored golf ball, like a kid at the grocery store. With that being said, the jet noise was painfully loud. I would have definitely ranked this a 4 if not for the few separate instances that jets were sounding off in my ear, exemplified while mini golfing in the tunnel. The 5 star would be added if there were any animal statues hanging around the course. I'm highly superstitious, and thoroughly believe a giant plastic giraffe brings me luck. Honestly, I did not explore more of the park than the mini golf courses (we did both), and the race track looked like a lot of fun. Me and my friends were in VA Beach for part of my honeymoon. We were looking for something fun to do and this was right down the road. All four of us bought a 5 race wristband. It seemed a little pricey but the tracks looked fun. We got onto the track with just us four driving. They told us the only rules were no bumping and to stop after every lap. Right away they had an attitude towards my friends. They are a couple and wanted to drive near each other. As we finished the first lap they started to yell at my friend about swerving too much, which he was not, he was just taking a couple wide turns. After every lap they yelled at him. It became pretty apparent that they were just concentrating on him and his girlfriend. My husband actually ran into the back of me (on accident) when they had me stopped and they didn't say anything. They also were obviously trying to keep them apart by making her wait longer before letting her start her lap, but they didn't make me or my husband wait at all. When we left the track an employee was waiting to start yelling at us. I have no idea who he was, or what his job was, only that the apple he was eating was too delicious for him to put down while he berated us. While talking with a mouth full of tasty tasty apple (it must have been the best ever or he was starving) he accused my friend of driving through the pit. Which never happened. He said the track attendants told him that he did, and when we questioned them about the lie they just looked embarrassed and turned away. We had been planning on coming back the next day and playing mini golf and enjoying the place more, but we left after that first track and never went back. I will never go there again and have already told several people about the incident, who have chosen not to go there too. read more

Nice spot off the boardwalk to go have some fun. Short lines and unlimited ride bands made this a fun day. Could see this being even better for kids to enjoy. I did enjoy the high speed Euro track. It's pricy but they time you and give you all your racing stats after. Follow the racing up with some mini golf at shipwreck course. It's 36 holes of fun. It's not the newest but it's in decent condition and the course layout wasn't impossible or overly easy. We will definitely be returning to try the other 18. read more

Terrible! I went to moterworld today. I knew it was supposed to rain but it said on the policy that even if it rains there will be tracks that still work. So I went on two rides and it started to rain. Every single Ride was closed. I was waiting for the rain to stop and it didn't look at if it was stopping resulting in rides opening so I wanted a refund. I went to the ticket booth and was told that because I used one ticket I couldn't get a refund. I then went to management and told them the same thing. The female manager was no help. She just told me that the rides were open( which was false) One of the other managers then yelled at the employees to get back to work ( in the pouring rain) and but the woman still refused to give me a refund again because I used one ticket. I should not have to complain to managers to get their employees to do their job. By the time things were up And running (about 20 minutes later) my Uber was there and I had to leave. This place is run down. The 3 hour pass is extremely expensive for the amount of tracks to select from. About 1/2 of the tracks available are for small children. If you decide to heed all other reviews and go to this place, go to the office and buy the coupon book. It will save you some money. For a family of 5, we spent $180 on tickets + drinks and snacks. Not a cheap day. Also, while some employees were nice, generally all seemed to dislike their job. Watch your wallet! Not in the literal sense. If your child is under 54" you will pay full price for them even though they can not ride the adult rides alone. Bit if your kid is exactly 48 and below they pay the "kiddie" price. Which makes no sense, the rides are either 48" and below or 54" and below. If you are military, you should chose to do this in advance so you can get your tickets through your ITT/MWR/Morale people. You get it for $10-11 cheaper. Other than that, It is quite fun. This place is great for families! We loved the go carts! My wife even rode the sky ride and got on a bogo free deal! Sometimes the staff will let you ride for free on some of the go carts. If you're a tall man like myself be prepared for tight quarters in some of the go carts. We bought tickets bc we weren't there the whole day but def get the wrist band if you're planning on being there the whole day! Air Force planes flying overhead are cool too! I had two separate terrible experiences at this location. Went about two weeks ago, the first night they were supposed to be open until midnight and were told very rudely that they would stay open as long as there were people riding. We purchased the VERY overpriced wristbands, and after only three rides, a rude man who was running the track asked if we would "please leave so he could go home." This was after a manager clarified to him and another worker that they were to stay open until 12. After leaving disappointedly, we returned this evening at 9:30-45ish to use the rest of our wristbands -- again confirming on the website that the establishment would be open until MIDNIGHT. However before we even walked in, another very rude worker informed us that they would be closing in "about a half hour" and told us if we "absolutely had to" we could go in. I deeply wish I would not have ever purchased the wristbands because I still have rides left and there is NO WAY I'm not using them, because that would be letting this shitty establishment win -- I'm not letting them keep a penny of my money, but I also won't be spending another one. Every single person I encountered across two separate evenings at this place was unhelpful, mean and had no concern for customer satisfaction or anything other than themselves. Being from the North, but having childhood summers in Texas, I thought this place was pretty cool. They had quite a few tracks to choose from and even though I rode with my five year old, the cars were pretty fast and the tracks were some what exciting. It was a nice departure, from your New Roc City (New Yorkers will understand) style "go karts") go karts. These were real go karts, outside, on a real 120 minute track- ok, maybe I'm exaggerating. Reminded me of the back yard, go kart tracks I explored as a child in Texas.. Loud, fast, quick, challenging and most of all, seemingly a real auto experience for a non licensed teenager. The best part of the old school feel, is that you don't pay to enter. You buy tickets and wait until they run out. Very "back in the days" like! It made the adventure seem a little more affordable. My 15 year old, son and nephew had a blast too. We are having dinner and then going back this evening, once it's dark, since it's open till midnight. We are all excited, if you're in the area with teenagers, try it out! A great end to an amazing Sunday on Virginia Beach. read more

This place is decent, but could use some work. They have a variety of carts and tracks and they also have some mini carts and tracks, just in case. The place is a little pricey though because for just 3 hours you have to pay 52$, which for me is a little too much. Some carts were difficult to turn due to the steering wheel being slightly stuck. There aren't many safety features to the carts and there is no padding on the back so it's uncomfortable. While I was there on one I slipped on oil that was on the ground and I hurt my chest. Other than that though it was quite fun just wish they would update safety features and other things in the park. read more

Spent an entire weekday afternoon here...kept two 27 yr Olds very entertained for 4 hrs for 85 bucks each...not to bad if you consider what you get...we did every track at least once and did the euro karts (their fast ones) twice. Euro karts are about $20 for 10 laps...I will go back next time I'm there...staff was fun and efficient...facilities were clean, karts worked well. There is only one track that requires stopping in between laps but that's not a big deal to me...the rest are continuous. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty because that's the nature of motorsport...gas engines, small pieces of rubber and dirt. My group of friends (all of us are over 21) when here and ended up getting a 10 ride wrist band and it was about $40. 10 rides non stop took us around 2 hours. The staff was nice enough to tell us what go karts was good and which one was slow. Yes even the fast go karts are a bit slow but when u have a group of friend just fooling around its fun. At the end all of us did have fun. But I do have to warn you, we all woke up with some sort of our body aching. Haha. Two years ago I did the golf course and it was a blast also. Only giving it two stars because the ride racer was actually fun. You can tell when coming here that it is poorly managed & operated. The lines weren't that long but it takes forever to get on because of the people working not really knowing how to coordinate the transitions of people getting on & off. We spent $108 here on the tickets and rode the road racer, which apparently wasn't included in our tickets. We went around the track twice before being stopped by one of the employees at the station who told us that our tickets didn't qualify for the ride. Horrible service. Currently in the park and haven't ride a ride yet. The workers are really bad and act like they do not want you to be here at all. It's very sad because it's a nice park. Just don't explain things well, our children can't ride because they can't mix and match but we do not understand what that means so it was an hour before they rode a ride. Then when going to the family cart ride we could not all ride again due to the no mix and matching. Again no one explained why. This cost us 300 bucks with family from out of town. The tickets are a huge scam. Only half of the rides accept tickets while the other half only accept cash. Then the arcade only accepts tokens and gives you different tickets. Motorwold was a great experience and I had a lot of fun. They have 5 different go-Karts that we enjoyed as adults. I went with my cousins and my gf. We all got a 2 hour wristband and rode Karts almost non-stop. Aftet the wristbands expired, we went over to the adults only track where you can go for 8 minutes in more professional style Karts with helmets and top speeds around 40mph. While 40mph might not seem fast it sure does when you're about an inch off the ground power-sliding around every turn including the hairpin turns. Even though I weigh almost 90lbs more than my cousin my driving skills came into play and I beat his fastest lap by .8 seconds. After the adult course we played some mini-golf and all in all we had a total blast for about $45 per person. All of us left there with a smile on our face. A++ read more

Motorworld has been around for a long time and it is starting to show its age. They could use some fresh paint and a little maintenance. The day we were there the vending machine was not working and none of the concession stands were open, so no cold drinks on a hot day. The guys running the tracks and cars are a lot of fun and stress safety and safety seems to be their main focus. They have many tracks and cars for all ages, lots of fun. The putt putt course is fun but again the place needs maintenance, and they need to clean the course every day, leaves and plant debris on every hole. read more
