Good for them for making that work. I'm sure in California there would be some regulation against that. Tim was super helpful getting us the right bikes and giving us instructions on where to ride in our planned timeframe. Their location is super close to the park entrance. The bikes worked great, both pedal assist and throttle. The ride was simply amazing. Drop off was also easy, and gave us a chance to say hi to their sweet resident doggie again. St. George park is up in the hills of this small-sized Mormon town, and yes indeed it was full of…read moreMormons. I guess they think it is in style to wear the same quiet blue-jeans (or blue jean skirt) with button up white shirts and short-cropped hair..the entire family of 10...weird. But anyway, the park itself had a pretty cool view of the town, which in itself seemed to have few redeeming qualities. The red rocks reminded me of the Garden of the Gods from my home town and overall it was a cool place to stop and have a drink and look at the slowly meandering semi-trucks in the background (illegally I might add...there is no glass (and of course no alcohol) allowed in park). But you know me: rebel to a T. If you are around the area, check it out. And if you want to get that first kiss, I couldn't think of a better overlook...just watch out for the Mormon popo's.

Some didn't respond, and others were clearly pricing to pay for their expensive storefronts. When Nestor at Blue Raven emailed us back, we discussed the bikes we would need for our family of 6 (kids aged 7-17) and then stopped by to make sure there was a fit for our 10-yr-old. There was! We made a reservation for the next day. From beginning to end, Nestor and his wife made us feel like family. It was our first time on e-bikes, so they took the time to explain everything clearly and make sure we were comfortable with the pedal assist and throttle. The kids took a few practice laps across the street in the City Hall parking lot. And we were off! Navigation was easy thanks to a digital map they sent us. If you've never used an e-bike, you'll be amazed at how easy they are to operate, and grateful for the uphill help. (The Snow Canyon route is uphill nearly all the way in.) We rented the bikes for 4 hours and Nestor made clear that we didn't need to "rush back", he wasn't going to charge us extra if we were a little late. And he also assured us that if our plans changed last-minute, there would be no cancellation fee. This approach was so refreshing, especially after being nickeled, dimed, and hidden-charged by so many other places during our vacation! Oh, and can't forget to say that Blue Raven was half the price of any other place that actually responded to our inquiries! Half! If you're looking for a thoroughly enjoyable experience that goes far beyond the phenomenal beauty of Snow Canyon and leaves you feeling great about the whole thing, start here.

Large mature trees for shade with nice grassy areas. This will remind you of your smaller hone town parks. It's never really over ran with people. And it's hidden deep inside a residential area. In addition to the waterfalls, there is a large reservoir where you can fish, swim and boat. The park is located about 10 miles out of St. George, Utah. My good friend and I decided last spring (2023) to come and see the falls. I checked the park website to make sure they were running. The falls don't run every year so always make sure to check the park website before heading up here. We arrived early afternoon but there were way too many peeps so we left to return later. We came back close to 5:00pm and the crowds had thinned. We paid the $10 fee and enjoyed the falls. You have to climb up to the falls so be sure to wear some trusted footwear so you don't slip. So much water rushing over the beautiful red rocks. It was quite a show and I highly recommend if you find yourself in the area. Remember to Leave No Trace and take care of our public lands.

If you wanted off the wall you were a whimp, and when confronted he tried to say his method was to encourage but really my daughter-in -law was almost in tears when he finally lowered her. We were suppose to be on a beginner outdoor climb session, and the last wall was far from a beginner wall. It seemed we were climbing what he wanted to climb instead o f the level of his clientele. Maybe his other guides are better, but he is the worst.
