Day 2 and I'm finally in Montana! This place was adorable and cozy! Has the ambiance of a small town diner you'd find in a tv show, classic menu with tasty burgers and a sweet waitress who served all 12 of us no complaints. The waitress Cassidy was very polite and helpful too. As for the meal? It was tasty, took no time at all to make and was so juicy! Fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned really well! I was visiting my son who moved to Boulder and decided to have lunch at the Mountain Good. We are from NY and are used to good restaurants. The food was excellent. We were a group of 6 all age ranges and everyone loved it. My daughter said the potato salad was the best she ever had. Homemade chili was a hit. Boy am I glad I made it in before they closed for the afternoon! Love how warm, welcoming and cozy this place is! Cheri was my server- what a sweetheart! I ordered a simple side salad, and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich on marbled rye, thinking "okay- just simple stuff" not expecting much out of this little diner. Well- the side salad was fresh and delicious with crunchy veggies - perfect. The sandwich- my goodness. It was thick perfectly grilled marbled rye bread, with nice thick slices of actual ham meat and dreamy dripping cheese- so so good! I hope I can come back soon! 4 stars for the food. 5 stars for the service. 5 stars for the nature photography around the place. 1 star for the mixed messages. I'm pretty sure Jesus wasn't down with war or cops. Unquestioned support and loyalty to either of the latter is about as Christian as an electric chair. Is it peace and love or violent control and heaps of brown bodies? We were sooo happy we found this little spot on a pit stop through Boulder! Their curly fries were perfectly crisp, the burger was juicy, and the huckleberry milkshake was delicious. The cherry on top was the service; Cheri, our waitress, was probably the best waitress I have ever had. She was so hospitable and made us feel so welcome! She was servicing the whole diner by herself and was doing an incredible job doing so and keeping everyone happy. Will def recommend this place to others passing through the area! read more

This place is OK as long as you like neon lights and a serious Christian theme when you are eating. The owners are friendly, but if it gets busy, their grille is small and you will be stuck waiting for your food. Love eating there at the bar though when it isn't busy. read more

My brother and I decided to go and have breakfast this morning. We drove to Boulder Wyoming, which is about 30 minutes away from where he lives by chance. We came upon a restaurant called Mountain good restaurant, and decided to give it a chance. Walked in. It wasn't too busy very clean, very friendly waitress, and she had suggested the special which was bacon and tomato omelette. My brother ordered the bacon tomato omelette and I ordered the chicken fried steak. He said his bacon in a garment was one of the best diamonds he had ever had, and I was very satisfied with the helping because it was almost more than you could eat, but we both managed. I had ordered the chicken fried steak and it came with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese, and English muffins. The English muffins were almost twice the size as you would normally see you at restaurants and was also twice as good the ends that they had toasted it on the grill instead of in the toaster but the back side was nice and soft. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly, and the scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese was also done, but still moist. The chicken fried steak was a nice piece of meat in the batter and was cooked. Just just enough to where it was crispy but not overcooked. The only downside was the gravy was a little too thick and not quite enough flavor. It was a white gravy it probably could've been improved by adding a little more water to thin it out some and adding a little flavor, such as a beef, bullion cube, and possibly even a little fat or butter to give it a nice gravy texture. But as for everything else, it was quite a surprise for a small little café in the middle of a small town. So if you ever go through Boulder, Wyoming, stop and enjoy one of the best breakfasts you'll ever have. read more

we when to lunch there today 12/18/19. we order burgers and a bowl of chili with cheese no onions. The kids burger came out a good 5 mins before my chili with onions in it, which I was asked if that was ok, replied that it wasn't and she told me she'd fix it. great I'm ok with that. The chili came came out and I was told they just scraped them off. My first bite I got a big bite of raw onion. I called the waitress over and asked if I could get a new bowl. I really don't like uncooked onions.... gives an nice apology and we moved on 10 mins later my kids have finished eating and I still haven't gotten my bowl of chili, while other orders are served, finally after 15 mins more of waiting. I just ask if we can have the bill and that we needed to go. she told me i could just wait he wasn't going to charge me. I told her that was nice but we had to go..I could wait any longer. the cook came out and was upset I didn't want the chili anymore. I tried to explain I order it with onions and was tried of waiting, he interrupted me. and proceeded to try to argue with me about how he'd scraped them off and he wasn't going to charge me for them threw a fit when I told that was great but still didn't want it. I was traveling at the time. He then crumpled up the napkin he was hold it at me! as he wished me Merry Christmas, in a harsh way. I asked him if really just threw a napkin at me. In which yelled and point at me to get to hell out of his restaurant. I was in complete shock and start to leave once I got to the door the waitress behind my back to my 13 year old said I'm sorry if you have to deal with her all the time. I was so angry I kept walking. I have never been treat so rude. I've been a severe for years and one totally get a mixed up reading an order a big deal, but get so mad you throw things and screaming at a customer, and have the audacity to say rude thing about me to my kids is unacceptable. I'm still in complete shock and will never be back. read more

On a cross country trip, my wife and I stopped here for a coffee. Barry, the owner, was exceedingly polite and served us quickly. My wife ordered an apple pie ala mode; fresh and tasty! We chatted with Barry about his experiences in Afghanistan. Yes, there are "Jesus saves" stickers, but it's not 'in your face'. Left feeling refreshed, ready for the long drive ahead. read more
