Only downside is the area so be careful and mind your own business. My coworkers and I were talking about shave ice and decided to stop by on a whim, on a Thursday, 10/17/19. One of my co-workers tried the Mountain Magic Shave ice food truck at the Waikele Shopping Center and said this one is the same company. The girl at the counter said that this store just opened in April, but they have been in business for 20 years. This store offers finely shaved ice with my favorite flavors of strawberry and blue vanilla. They also have lime and lee hing mui for people who like tart and sour flavors, too. They have bubble drinks and ice cream as well. They also sell Mountain Magic Shave Ice t-shirts too. My coworkers and I enjoyed our sweet and delicious treat with ice cream. Two of us got the Keiki size and one of us got the small size. They have larger sizes also. It was a great snack and the vibrant plastic cup holders were terrific. If you need a cool treat, I recommend that you experience Mountain Magic Shave Ice. We will be back once more to reward ourselves for a cold and icy sensational shave ice delight. read more

Upon entry, we were greeted with much respect. There was one guy and one lady working and they stood in front of us behind their counter with respect. My sister, brother-in-law and his dad were in town visiting and I took them here to try a different type of shave ice compared to Matsumoto's. We each got shave ice in different flavors. I got the rainbow shave ice shown in the picture, which is basically all their syrup flavors in one cup. The fact that they were friendly and provided quick service is what will bring us coming back for more. My sister immediately tasted the difference with their shave ice. Mountain Magic Shave Ice is located at the Makaha Gateway. The shop is an expansion of the original shave ice stand that is located in Waikele near Leonard's Malasada Wagon. Entering through the doors customers are greeted right away by the friendly employees. Individuals would have to look towards the right side of the door for the full menu of shave ice flavors. Above the counter area is a menu board with different types of boba tea flavors as well as Dave's Ice Cream flavors. Ice cream flavors can be seen through the ice cream display case that's in front of the entrance and towards the left. Customers are given the option of having a scoop of ice cream on the bottom of the shave ice and some condensed milk on top of the shave ice as a extra charge. When I ordered my shave ice from the female employee I asked for three different flavors. I also asked for a kids size instead of small or large cup. I had lychee, lilikoi, and I believe pineapple for my three flavors. Individuals can enjoy their bubble tea, shave ice, or ice cream while sitting down on one of two benches provided by the shop. One bench is located on the right side of the entrance door on the outside of the shop and another bench located inside of the shop. I know cash is accepted as payment at the shave ice shop. I'm unsure if credit card payments are an option. I will have to find out on my next visit to Mountain Magic Shave Ice. read more
