Great food and Great Service. Ingrid and Kelly were both so attentive and quick to ask if we needed anything. This pizza is delicious. We ordered a classic large pepperoni and those pepperonis are my favorite. They are the small crispy ones that are a little crunchy and the crust is not too thick and holds a lot of toppings. Tried out mountain mikes for the first time tonight. Unfortunately, I don't have the highest remarks for the food and prices. The price of the pizza is outrageous for what it is. The price is something people pay for a gourmet pizza from a high end pizza restaurant, not a pizza party restaurant. The pizza itself was ok at best. I ordered their famous pepperoni pizza, the cheese was just melted enough. I personally liked my pizza cheese a bit browned. The service was quick and friendly though and would be a large enough restaurant to have a pizza party or hang out. $20 for a below average small size pizza is not worth it, comparable to a shakeys pizza. read more

Stopped by Mountain Mike's Pizza in Brea on Christmas, and the place was slammed. Phones were ringing nonstop, and they had just one host/cashier hustling harder than anyone else. The open kitchen layout gave a clear view of the staff, and out of everyone back there, only one person was wearing gloves--kind of a letdown on both a sanitary and safety level (cutting bell peppers without a glove? Really?). The place felt understaffed for the holiday rush, and honestly, bringing in one extra person to help with orders would've made a world of difference. The space was somewhat clean, but at these prices--nearly $20 for a 10-inch pizza--you'd expect either better service or a full sit-down experience. Can't see myself coming back. read more

The salad offerings were fresh and the pizza kept coming!!! While places like Shakey's may offer additional options such as chicken and mojo potatoes, the pizza at Mountain Mike's it definitely higher quality in my opinion. Very quiet place for a pizza place at 6:30pm on a weeknight. Lots of tables inside and out but zero customers. I see beer taps and big screen TVs, too. Maybe the pizza is no good? I see from other reviews their lunch buffet is popular so that must be keeping them afloat. I ordered the large pepperoni pizza from my phone. The app didn't tell me my pizza was ready (the app is horrible-once you place an order, your order disappears) so I went in 5 minutes before the email said it would be ready, and it was done. The pizza was pretty epic! It had so much pepperoni on it (the curly ones with a pool of oil in each cup) that you would swear I ordered double pepperoni. The crust was not thin or thick crust. It was light brown all over and completely cooked throughout. The sauce was normal and nothing special. The cheese was about right although it didn't provide full coverage in proportion to the pepperoni. The person who cut it (I only saw one employee) needs some training. See pic. Otherwise a good pizza that reheats well too. Once you have the app, you will see all kinds of specials so don't pay regular price. This is true of all pizza chains. read more

We came for the lunch buffet and overall the food was great, the service from the cashier Jessica and the manager Ingrid was impeccable. Both were kind, hospitable, and very accommodating. We came earlier this week and returned because of the great deal but also because of the great service. The music was also great! Our first visit, there was a situation where we witnessed a customer grab food with his hands and lick his fingers and then grab more food. Initially we were pretty disgusted to see this, but the staff handled the situation in the best way possible. They immediately apologized on the customer's behalf, threw away all food at the buffet for our safety, and brought us an individual pizza of our choice to our table directly, to ensure it was fresh and safe to eat. The following visit we were greeted kindly and again they apologized for the customer's actions our previous visit, and thanked us for letting them know. The staff is a small team so they are very busy but they clearly work very hard to make sure the customers are happy and satisfied. And the pizza quality is far better than most other pizza buffets. Gotta take a moment to give appreciate to the staff at Mountain Mikes. Kelly and Ingrid are amazing. My son and I love Mountain Mikes pizza. Just taste fresh and tasty vs pizza places where the bread taste like paper. My son is only 4 so he doesn't eat much, so ordering a cheese pizza for him and one for myself gets costly, but Ingrid told me about the lunch buffet. Now we can both get the slice we want. My son loves saying hi to Ingrid. Honestly if it wasn't for her, we probably wouldn't come as often. The buffet always has 4-5 different styles of pizza and a fresh salad bar. Our experience was so amazing! I took a group of junior high students here for lunch before an escape room on a Friday afternoon. We had called ahead to let them know we were coming and the lady we spoke with and was there on Friday to work (she said her name and I totally forgot it, sorry!) was amazing! She was kind and patient and made sure we had everything we needed. The pizza was great, the salad bar well stocked with good variety, and the adolescents absolutely loved it.
