Well today, I actually came in and was greeted by a warm smiling face which happened to be the manager Ingrid. The ambiance was really nice with a beautiful fountain in the front. We had an awesome time at Mountain Mike's! We came for our daughter's 10th birthday. She wanted pizza and wings and we knew exactly where to go. Kelly the cashier was so kind and patient with us and even suggested some of their yummy loaded fries. Which we of course tried and loved. Ingrid was such a sweet lady and you could tell she made our pizza with love and pride. They were not only tasty and delicious but so beautiful. I mean--I could also tell you they have a decent sausage and garlic pizza here, which is my usual order elsewhere, but MY GODS, the real star of the show at Mountain Mike's is their classic pepperoni pizza. Not only is it densely packed like a subway in the afternoon rush with pepperoni but they are some of the most delectable, delightful, and downright memorable teacups of juicy meat you'll ever find in your life. They will make you review how you've spent your days prior on this Earth and make you regret every single one of them you lived in ignorance of these pepperonis. I know that's what I did. The first time I ever saw the magnitude, the heft, and jaw-dropping deepness of pepperonis laid on my large pie, I turned to my compatriot at the time, and said there's got to be a hundred pepperonis on there. But she told me I had to be wrong. And I was. There were 137 pepperonis on that sucker. I love pizza so I was really excited to see this new pizza shop open up in Brea! I called in for pick-up and ordered a small Pepperoni Pizza ($13.99) and a small Chicken Club ($17.99). Their menu boasts 10 slices for a Small pizza, but upon pick-up, I was a bit surprised to see just how small a "Small" really was. It was more like a glorified personal sized pizza and could probably feed 2 people at max. Size aside, I really enjoyed both pizzas. The crust had a slight crunch to it, and held up really well. My favorite of the two was definitely the Chicken Club though! The creamy garlic sauce was SO good paired with the grilled chicken and crispy bacon bits. The $17.99 price tag was a bit stiff in my opinion given the size, but there's no denying it was a delicious pizza! As a note, both indoor and outdoor seating are available and plentiful. read more

The pepperoni is really spicy! The pizza came out like warm from the kitchen and frankly we left half of it behind. The service was not there. You know it's bad when you have to write a review as you are eating. I waited nearly 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge I was there (4 workers in the back not paying any attention to the register). I was told my phone pick up order would take 25-30 minutes but it was barely warm when I got there after 15 minutes. I'm hoping a blaze or pieology will open here where the customers are valued and service is great. I recommend the Shakeys a little further away but way better service. read more

Our first time ordering from this joint and I have to say for the prices on their menu, the service and quality doesn't match. I ordered dinner tonight for me and my girls and as a single mom, this was meant to be a treat. I spent $95 on a family salad, mozzarella sticks, 12 pc wings and Large Pepperoni Pizza. The dinner was a disaster. The salad had about a cup or two of water that came gushing out everywhere when I went to toss the salad, so much water the lid popped off even with my firm grip. The wings in the box were not secure and buffalo sauce spilled out of the sides everywhere, we were missing the mozzarella sticks and the pizza was over cooked and pepperoni dried out. I think for a limited time only, you can get Mountain Mike fries that are deliciously seasoned thick crinkle-cut potato wedges, baked to perfection. Saturday at 830p Felt rushed to order, ordered a medium cheese pizza and a blue moon which the girl left 2 inches of foam at top of glass she didn't dispense it right . She also placed the number right on top of the plates we are suppose to eat off of. She asked us to sit at a booth which was dirty and and the floor was greasy The bathroom was disgusting The place closes at 10p and all the salad bar area was being packed up and 1 guy had no gloves on using also napkins to wipe the containers. Another guy had gloves he put all the fridge container dividers under the salad bar and did not take them to the back to sit in sanitizing water I mean that's how I was trained so maybe this place doesn't do that at closing , and then he proceeded to use the same gloves to prep and slice eggs.
