Well a few months a had a really bad experience with my pizza and service. I wrote my review giving them a one star! The manager read my review and contacted me about my experience. This is awesome that they take time on reading these reviews so they can make improvements as needed. He offered me a complimentary pizza which I took advantage of. It came hot with cheese and peppers on the side which made me also super happy. It was delicious my only complaint was it took almost an hour for arrival but it was a Saturday afternoon so I'll cut them some slack. I really appreciate the complimentary pizza. read more

I really like when they call it a specialty pizza because it is so.. unlike many other pizza joints who barely add toppings to their specialty pizzas, this one is loaded... cheese is just right and their thin crust ( I prefer ordering a thin crust pizza) is so crisp and perfectly cooked... I have ate here two days in a row now. My co-workers thought that their buy one specialty pizza and get one large one topping pizza for free was too good to pass on. They end up about $30 with delivery. Yesterday we had the McKinley and a large pepperoni. Both were thin crust. Is wasn't bad. I thought the veggies on the McKinley could have been a little fresher but ok. My favorite part was the crust and the dough. Today I had pikes peaks which is for meat lovers cause it has all kinds of meat and no veggies and a large pepperoni again. This time the pizza was normal crust and once again my favorite part was the crust and the dough. Overall this place has decent pizza. This Mountain Mikes location is very good from their friendly staff to the food and nice atmopsher inside. If you're looking for a place to hang out, eat good pizza and watch a sports game then this is the place to go. They have many TVs with different games on so you can watch multiple games at one time. On Wedensday nights they have all you can eat buffet (pizza and salad). The pizza has high turnover so it's not like one style of pizza is sitting forever until it's all eaten. They're constantly making hot and fresh pizza all the time and they'll even make dessert pizza. I've had PB&J pizza and their apple crumble pizza before and both are great. Their salad bar has a good selection and they're always keeping an eye on it so they know when to refill low items. When we've gone (which is many times) the place is always crowded with people dining in and also many to go customers as well. They also have lunch buffet on weekdays which I have yet to try but if it's anything like their dinner buffet I'm sure it's good. There's a side room which can be reserved for parties or events and it actually holds quite a lot of people. Also there's a small arcade room to the right of the restaurant when you walk in which my son loves. Many of the games give you tickets which you can exchange for small prizes. One thing I've noticed is that the staff are really on top of cleaning the tables when people leave and every employee that works there is always doing something and not just standing around or chatting. read more

Last night I placed an online order for a large pizza and mozzarella sticks for a pickup at 7:30pm. My husband picked up the order probably within 5-10 minutes of the scheduled pickup time..and the food was lukewarm. The mozzarella sticks were hard...isn't it supposed to stretch a bit when you bite into it? Not hard like it's been previously in a fridge and then breaded...I had to microwave it. The pizza was lukewarm and did not look like it was cooked thoroughly, the pizza overall was bland as well. I was really disappointed in the quality...we've ordered from Mountain Mike's before and the pizza was always good and hot. The pizza that my husband brought home yesterday tasted like it was cooked about an hour or two beforehand and tasted like warmed up frozen pizza. Definitely get the pepperoni pizza, that's what they're known for and what they're good at. They usually have coupons or specials. I had dinner buffet for the first time here, which includes salad, soda, cheese sticks, and several pizza varieties. It's under $10 on Mondays and Wednesdays, which is a pretty good deal. The pizza is hot and doesn't sit too long under the lamps. I still prefer The Garret for chicken and veggie pizzas, but Mountain Mikes is good for pepperoni, meat combo, and jalepeno pizzas. read more

It's always better to eat at a pizza parlor where you can get straight from the oven. This was close enough. Quick delivery and warm pizza. On my second visit for a pick up, the fat body person was quite rude. He stars to lose it when he can't find my order. Someone had to find my order for me. This is my go-to Mountain Mike's, but I know the owner of this store has opened a store in Menlo Park near my friend's house and I think he owns the one in San Carlos on El Camino. I know for a fact that if I go to any of these three and possibly more Mountain Mike's, I'm going to get the best pizza at the best price. There's always some kind of coupon deal or the customer in the know deal. The pizzs comes out top notch all hot and gooey with the toppings I like especially that dynamite trademarked cupped pepperoni. I met the owner's brother at the Menlo Park location and wanted to give him and his brother praise for having a great pizza franchise. My 29-year-old son lives with me and this is also his go-to pizza joint. He loves the buy one get one super cheap deal, so we end up with two pizzas which is more than we need, but we're so happy to have yummy leftovers because it's consistently good, and there's no surprises, you know exactly what you're going to get from an efficient friendly staff! read more

Who could give this place a bad review!!?? I LOVE Mt. Mikes. I think they know me by face. The Pizza is ALWAYS on point, dine in or take out. Its never been scarce or cold! Tues are the best...50% off EVERYTHING, beer, pizza, wings you name it! The wings are great, they always come out hot and tasty. The beer is always ice cold and they give you cold beer cups. I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite restaurant on the Citadel. There's like 8 or 9 TVs; it's perfect for NFL Sunday. Every game is on and the buffet goes from like 10am 'til 4pm. All you can eat pizza, soda, and salad. Plus the sandwiches and appetizers are good and the service is always super friendly every week. There are a few groups of regulars who go here every Sunday and it's a really good crowd. They're loud and fun, but not obnoxious. Always have good coupons, they have fast and friendly service (thus far) but every now and again they burn the pizza crust...total bummer. And I know this isn't their fault (their pepperoni is pretty darn tasty and full of spice) but it tends to be a bit on the greasy side especially if you get double pepperoni, which the boyfriend gets every time. Were so I begin. We stopped and had the lunch buffet was the first time I've ever been to a Mountain Mike's Pizza. It was okay, nothing special, I prefer thinner crusts instead of half cooked dough anyways. The salad bar was okay, good greens instead of the isles white lettuce that's not worth eating too begin with. So, now it's about 4 hours later. I went here only because they have gluten free pizza. It was good. But I was in line as a couple was paying and when they were done the cashier just left and didn't say anything to me. So I waited and waited. There were at least 4 people behind the counter pretending to be busy, while ignoring me. Finally a delivery driver had to take my order and he got someone else to check on my order. It wasn't ready yet even though it was supposed to be so I waited. I want to start off by saying I am a huge fan of mountain mikes. But I have never been more disappointed before. I had made an online order to pick up I drove there and still waited an hour and a half. I was told twice by two different workers to wait outside. And by the time I was going to cancel my order they end up blaming us for not checking in inside. To top it off it was a small order so all I saw was people coming and and out. Walked in around 1:50 pm on 11/22. saw two employees talking amongst themselves. The girl wasn't wearing her mask properly and pulled it up over her nose when I walked In. That there already irked me because it obviously defeats the purpose of wearing a mask if you only wear it properly when a customer comes in. I wasn't even sure if I should be eating there after that and her lack of customer service definitely confirmed that for me. There was also no greeting and I was only spoken to when I walked up toward my pizza to grab it since they seemed like they didn't want to assist. The girl who later claims her name was Cici (the receipt had a different name) just confirmed my order with the snarkiest attitude and she was done with it. No goodbye or niceties at all. Once home we called back for a manager she answered and seemed to know nothing. Not when he'd be in next or what his schedule was or literally anything at all and was even rudder on the phone. Not even a "I'll have him call you back" or a "try calling back at this time." just very to the point and not helpful at all. However, even though she claimed the manager wasn't in "he" called us back from the Mountain Mike's phone not even ten minutes later. Which struck me as odd because 1. He was in? So did she lie? And 2. I've never heard of a manger calling us back. That whole situation just seemed super fishy. Maybe it was him or it was a coworker of her's. But I'm writing this review because someone will see it regardless At this point there's so many different pizza places and businesses in general that actually want/need the business so I'm not coming back. Two stars because the pizza was good. We'll find out in 7 days if I have COVID. read more
