I was very hungry for some pizza today so I gave them a try. Then I've became disappointed that it didn't get delivered on time. What got me even more disappointed is 10 minutes after the expected delivery time I got a phone call from them that it was put in the oven 5 minutes after I received the phone call. So, I requested a refund and provided feedback that a customer should be contacted at least between 15 to 30 minutes after the order if was made if they are running late. I'm sure they wouldn't want one of their employees calling 10 minutes after their scheduled shift to explain that they are going to be late for work. I order delivery from this particular Mountain Mike's pizza often. However, for the past eight months their service has been horrible. Two times they forgot my 2 Liter but I still continued to order from them because people make mistakes. More recently, I ordered pizza breadsticks, and a 2 liter for delivery. They told me it would be there in an hour and 30 minutes . A hour and 45 min past so I called and they said he was on the way. Another 40 min past so I called again and the delivery guy is back at Mountain Mike's Pizza and said that he couldn't find me. I've been ordering there for over a year with the same address. He has my number and didn't call me to tell me he was outside and couldn't find my address? I called and complained they took about three dollars off of my order. Thanks! I got my pizza 2 1/2 later cold. I called today to order pizza with a coupon. He's telling me to give him a coupon code. Yet the whole sheet of coupons have no codes on them. He tells me he can't help me and he hast to go. I asked him his name. He told me his name is Mike how convenient is that? The pizza arrived a full 45 minutes late. After it was 15 minutes late I called and was told it's out for delivery just give it "another" ten, fifteen minutes, "or so". The combo pizza finally arrived but it did not taste good to us and it was quite bready. This review needed to be written a while ago when I saw some of the staff in the area where the food is prepped, eating right over the vegetable storage. No one washed their hands and seemed to go right back into meal preparation. Today I called to place an order, as I have done the last 3 years and the man who answered claimed he couldn't hear me. I only raised my voice a bit because I repeated myself 5 times and he still coild not understand me and then he slammed the phone in my face. I called back and asked for a manager and each time I asked he replied with "who dis?" Or "who is this?". I finally said please put a manager on the phone and he hung up again. I called back after a few minutes and another rude individual answered the phone and seemed to be more than uninterested when I told him what just happened and asked for the manager. I stopped ordering from Bronco Billy's for this same reason where the staff act as though they have better things to do than the job THEY applied for. This was my first time ordering from this location and they did not follow my instructions to create a pokeball pizza. I asked for half the pizza to be pepperoni with a line of olives going down the center of the diameter of the pizza. I felt my instructions were clear but the pizza was half pepperoni/other half was all olives. Not only was the pokeball pizza not created, it has arrived burnt. The pepperoni and crust were burnt. I've ended up coming here throughout my life being raised in Castro valley, however the service has progressively gotten worse these past few years. Every couple months to a year someone in my family caves and gets mountain mikes for dinner, and we have been so frequently disappointed. This most recent time was a few days ago, we ordered online and my mom went to pick up, it was a Friday night so naturally they were busy & the 45-hour wait time for pick up was understandable. My mom showed up about 40 minutes after we'd ordered and was met by disgruntled employees unwilling to update her on the order. They then claimed they couldn't find our order and that she had to show the card on file. She showed them her card and they finally handed her a pizza. She got home before she realized they'd given us the wrong one. I then returned to the restaurant for my mom with someone else's pizza in my hands only to find another customer in frustrated amusement at their disorganization. We, among ourselves since no one out of the 4 employees at the counter would acknowledge us, quickly figured out they'd given me his pizza. I stopped the man at the counter to tell him they'd given my mom the wrong order and without turning around he said "talk to someone else." After standing there with the other customer they tried to offer him the pizza that had gone home with me, then offered to make him a small mushroom pizza on top of the one that had gone home with me (a mountain size half and half) He insisted they make him a new one. ( I'm glad he did. ) The man who'd told me to speak to someone else then began to claim I did not order a pizza, I told him my name and the same phone number over 3 times while staring at my ticket in his hand as he continued to not give me my pizza which at this point had been sitting there at least an hour? He finally handed it to me and I left. The other customer was still in the lobby waiting for his. The pizza was cold by the time I got home (I live 3 minutes down the road) & we were offered no refund and no apology. I'm not the type to make a fuss, neither are my parents. Staff is friendly even with this challenging time and was able to accommodate us with the check in discount without any hassle. I had never tried this company before and the tv ads looked pretty enticing. It was last Friday and I was heading home from the east bay so I picked up a nice Medium hand-tossed/original style pepperoni pizza. I wanted the pizza that I see up on those tv ads so I did 2 times the cheese and 3 times the pepperoni and had it ordered well so that I had crispy bits on top of the pepperoni. It was everything I could have wanted and more. I am going to try their thin crust pizza next time. I'm looking forward to it. First time ordering from Mountain Mike's right here in Castro Valley, and wow!! What a breath of fresh air!! We normally get our pizzas from Roundtable in Castro Valley on Redwood Rd, the service there has been terrible. Very disorganized and feels like it's been operated by kids. Quality of their pizzas has been hit and miss. One time they completely just didn't make our pizza, mind you this is after waiting 20 minutes at home right after calling in the order and then another 20 min wait between going there and waiting. They had nothing to say but it got missed and had to refund me. Decided to try Mountain Mikes tonight for the first time, I was greeted right away when I got to the register. They were fully staffed in the kitchen and everyone was just so friendly and upbeat. Kinda blown away by their customer service to be honest. Mountian Mikes is about 2 blocks away from my house and even though it's close, this is one of my favorite pizza places. I never get skimped on toppings, it's always hot and fresh and you basically get what you pay for. My favorite pizza here is the Pineapple Chicken Laua, I'm a fan of BBQ chicken pizza though. I believe the offer a all you can eat lunch special, with pizza and a salad bar, and on Wednesday they do a dinner special that's the same. For a specialty large pizza you'll usually pay about $25 but it's well worth it. read more

Gave these guys a call and placed an order for a Robbers Roost with garlic sauce and substituted the tomatoes for pineapples and added garlic. 20 mins later I picked up this box of perfection. This has been our go to pizza spot because it tastes good, is conveniently located and the coupons help make it more affordable. I was really disappointed with my experience last night. I ordered a pizza for pickup and when I was paying for it the staff seemed pretty unprofessional and were annoyed when I asked for anchovies and continued to talk about how gross they were as I left. Once I got home and changed out of my work clothes my bf & I sat down to enjoy the pizza. He took his first bite and suddenly pulls a super long black hair from the toppings and cheese. We both were shocked and disgusted! I called them immediately and they offered to remake it for us but didn't seem to care about the hair at all. I had to get redressed and go back out (of corse by then it was raining pretty hard). I brought back the entire pizza except for the 1 bite as well as the long hair which we put in a ziplock bag as evidence. I gave them the pizza and showed them the hair but they could have cared less. The one guy did say "sorry about that" but that was all. As I waited there to exchange the pies I examined the workers to see if I could find the culprit and sure enough I spot a middle aged woman with long black hair that seemed to have misplaced her hairnet or it was tucked away for safe keeping. I appreciate that they made a new pizza but it was a really gross experience. I'm assuming that once the manager returns they'll take the hair evidence I brought in and hopefully try to match it up with their hair lineup to see who's brushing their hair while they twirl pizza dough. I usually LOVE this pizza spot, mountain mikes has always been my favorite pizza until my last order. I ordered a medium pizza online REMIND YOU IM PREGNANT, so I expected my pizza when it said promise time. The promise delivery time was at 3:07 pm , so around 3:14 i called and asked if the restaurant knew the status of my pizza. Lets jus start by saying when you work in customer service or food U NEED TO LEARN TO HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BE NICE. The man who answered the phone sounded irritated and was rude, he told me my pizza was on the way , i thought ok its not terribly late. 3:30 rolled around STILL NO PIZZA. Im sorry but if i paid for a service and your "PROMISE TIME" is at a time then I just feel like it should have been that time. So I called again , this time I called and called and no answer FINALLY I got another guy RUUUUUDE AS HELL, he said i will call the delivery driver and had me on hold when he got back to me he said pizza will be there in 2 minutes at that point I told him what had already happened I was pist and hungry. What if i was on lunch at work waiting for my food ..... the guy hung up on me. Another 10 min went by and my pizza still hadn't came. At this point it was 3:45 , my pizza didn't get to me till 4:05pm not only was it cold it was undercooked i had to put it in the air fryer at home to finish cooking it and at that point i was disgusted and didn't even want it anymore. We've used their delivery service a few times during this COVID crisis, it's been great to be able have their pizza come right to us! We love their pizza, how they have the coupons/promotions right in the app, and the delivery fee is fair. We've had a couple minor issues though- one time the pizza was overcooked/burnt quite a bit more than the usual pizza, one time the driver dropped off the wrong order (we did the contactless delivery where they drop and go) and the driver had to come back to give us the right food. Not sure how they mistook a large and a small pizza for a XL pizza and an order of wings, but I suppose these things happen. We'll probably order again since the pizza is usually good but wish more attention could be paid to the small details. read more

I called to get a quote for a 60+ person party and spoke to manager Mike (Mehial). He quoted me $275 for 10 XL Pizza's. I called back to confirm and he reneged saying I misheard him and I only asked for 8. I was like sure, maybe. Even though i wrote down the exact pizzas. Then he offered me 12 pizzas for $424. I explained 424/12 = $35.33/pizza and his "initial offer" of $275/8 = $34.38/pizza.
