The problem is consistency. Anything outside of a standard order--asking for the pizza to be double cut, cooked well done, or making other simple modifications--seems to be about a 50/50 chance of being done correctly. We've also had several orders over the years that simply weren't what we ordered. Mistakes happen, and that's understandable. But pizza isn't cheap anymore, and when you're spending that kind of money, you expect the order to be accurate. We'll probably continue to order from Marco's because when they get it right, it's excellent. I just wish the consistency matched the quality of the food. If they can tighten that up, this would easily be a five-star review.

The only reason they have pepperonis and olives in the photos is because I happen to have some at home. The dough had not been proofed or risen so both the calzones and the children's pizzas did not bake correctly, all the food that we had received was completely un-edible. She was very nice, but stated that they had not placed orders, did not have lettuce and a lot of other toppings that is why she had to turn people away and why my order was not fulfilled correctly. She gave me a number that was supposedly for customer service, upon contacting it, was for virtual support, store support.. The gentleman on the phone gave me the website. I originally filed a complaint this way about 4 to 5 days ago at which point I was made aware by email all refunds and complaints are handled in store. I returned to the store yesterday 6/28/26 around 1pm and was greeted with a friendly employee. She made me aware that there are new owners, that have not been making supply orders and they are having employees start at 12 when the business hours are clearly posted as 11. Which is why my dough was not prepped when my order was placed at noon. She took my information and let me know an owner would be coming to the store later that day and should contact me no later than 3 PM. No one contacted me. I paid almost $70 for un-edible food over 10 days ago, and have yet to be offered a coupon or refund or something as little as I'm sorry!! I returned to the store today around 12:30 and was met with another employee who was able to give me a number for one of the "owners". He let me know that he is not the owner, the owner is apparently sick and he is his brother. Very horrible way to run a business. He could not tell me when they would be able to "go into the office to process a refund". At this point, I'm guessing I will probably never receive one. I will never be returning to any Papa Murphy's franchise ever again. Which is sad cause we used to eat it regularly. As someone who worked in customer service for over 10 years, this is very bad business.

The pizza is good (cheese ratio is perfect IMO) light on the sauce, which I prefer -- but the crust reminds me of Little Caesars. Still, overall, it's solid pizza. The mozzarella sticks were spot on. A lot of places serve them soggy or undercooked, but these were done right. The ranch was okay -- a little heavy on the seasoning -- but it still works. All in all: Friendly, quick and good pizza! I will definitely be going back.
