Ordered a pizza online last night and it never showed up. I didn't recieve a call or any type of notification of any issues. My account was still charged for the order. I called to see what happened and the worker said that he would cancel my order but my money would not be refunded for 48 hours. So now I'm left with no pizza and no money for the weekend. I moved to Hercules almost exactly one year ago. I have tried several that are quite good, but none as good as Mountain Mike's that is very close to my home. Not only is their pizza the best, their service is outstanding. Yesterday I ordered for delivery. There was a minor mistake, a very human error. I learned about Mountain Mikes pizza while searching for food places that delivered. I read some of the reviews on here, and decided to take a chance trying a "new" pizza place for once. I am truly impressed by how incredible the pizza was. I called and spoke with a polite lady who took my order and the pizza took maybe 35 minutes to show up and the pizza boy was very nice and chatty too. For a "first" time customer I can truly say I am pleased. Not only was the pizza incredible, but it resembled the picture they had displayed on the website. I was "not" paid to give this review this is my honest "first" time opinion. If I could give more stars I would, but I do know they should have a broader audience than they have now. If you can't afford Extreme Pizza or Netos then this is your place. Really good value for the dollar. The buffet is pretty good. The Sneeze Guard is ridiculous. You have to be a limbo champion to navigate around it. They said it was health dept standards but common sense should prevail here. read more

This place sucks!!!!! I got a flyer in the mail with coupons, and they advertised that you can order online. So I placed my order online and waited and waited and waited for my order to arrive. After an hour and half I called them and they had no record of my order. After talking to three different people, nobody really helped me. I checked my bank account online and my card was already charged for my order. By this time it was already 9pm, they offered to make my pizza. It was too late. I asked them to just refund my money and they said ok, it will take 3 to 4 days for it to appear on my account. So I waited, and never saw a refund after a week. I called back and spoke to the manager and he was very apologetic and said that he was never told to refund my card. Which didn't surprise me. So he said he processed it and would give me a free pizza for the mishap. So I was ok after that conversation. I again waited the 3 to 4 days for my refund to appear, again nothing. I was so mad I had to have my husband call and ask them, they told him it would be 7 to 10 days to have the money refunded. So I am just more pissed by this time. I waited the 10 business days and sure enough, did not get my money back. Called them again, and they said they had to contact their bank, which was more bullshit!! Supposedly a representative from their bank called and finally I got my money back after almost 4 weeks. I will never order from this location again. Very very poor customer service. read more

So our family gets pizza here often because its close and usually delicious BUT the wings are almost always fatty/greasy/undercooked(?) and they ALWAYS seem understaffed. I called and was asked to hold and after 7 minutes guy picks up. I ask for any deals, he says "I'm sorry but...click" n puts me back on hold for 8 more minutes! So after 15 minutes on hold (mad at myself) I drive over there and it's the same poor guy who always seems to be there apologizing to people for mistaken orders or long waits. So I turned into that mad guy who is all complaining while the line continues to back up. If I didn't like the pizza and feel bad for Preet (the poor lonely register guy who always seems frazzled) I would give this place 2 stars for consistently making subpar chicken wings, making simple mistakes on our orders and usually making us wait hella long. I've eaten a lot of pizza throughout my life and Mountian Mikes is hands down my favorite!! The Hercules branch is my go to. They have never messed up an order and delivery is always received in a an appropriate amount of time. Also if you favor a vegetarian style pizza I recommend the vegetarian Indian style. It's not on the menu but made specially by the gentleman in the restaurant. It's your typical vegetarian pizza with a little extra . They add garbanzo beans, kidney beans, jalapeños and some ginger.
