Pizza and salad for lunch kinda day ! We had this for work and I must say it was satisfying . Had the bacon and ham cheese pizza which was good and the pepperoni was good too. Literally inedible - we threw it away. Soooo I'm going to say... skip the salad, and you'll be happy. I'm very budget minded so while the regular price is comparable to other pizza places the main reason I have been choosing Mountain Mike's over their competitors is their online ordering system has coupons... and some of the coupons are AMAZING! I was here late for the lunch special Buffett​ That is 7.95 USD at this time for all you can eat Pizza and Salad. The lunch special ends at 2 pm and I was here at 1:30 pm so it was close to the end, I just say this cause this will be the reason that not a lot of salads would have been available or a lot of pizza came out after I arrived. But if I pay a full price, I would expect a full service. But other than​ two different types of pizza (both with meat) and an almost emptied out salad bar I did not get more out of this place. I saw before I paid another customer taking some breadsticks​ looking items. But they don't refill​ those. The two pizzas that came out fresh have been just a regular piece of pizza​, nothing outstanding but also nothing​ bad. I might check this place again some other time and make sure that I will be here earlier and might give a better and fairer review then. But based on a mediocre pizza, an empty salad bar, not very motivated staff and an all you can eat pizza buffet out of two styles two stars are missing here. The shop itself​ is "interesting", in the background​ you have some playing game machines​ for kiddos and a party room that you can rent for special occasions. The restaurant area really looks outdated and gave me not a very welcoming flair, don't​ get me wrong it was clean but​ it did not felt that way. I absolutely​ don't need a new high tech set up, and I love old time charm but this feels just really outdated and it hard to describe. That where the third star leaves the front door, right now. He saw and came to me very rudely asking why he was eating the salad, and that he had not paid for one. And I said, "he's not eating the salad he's getting a bite to see what kind of dressing it is!" We don't take food we didn't pay for. He gave not one F#%* and charged me for another salad. Next time I guess we'll try the dressing straight from the container! Ridiculous and childish. Maybe if there were labels by the dressing containers people wouldn't be guessing. Will never be eating there again. And to top it off the pizza was hard and dry. I ordered online via the mountain mikes website. Shortly after placing my order I received two phone calls from a blocked number. I never answer blocked numbers, so then I received a call from a 707 number. An unpleasant sounding woman answered and told me that my card didn't go through and that I had to give it to them again so that they could process my order. At first, I didn't think anything of it and read her my card information. I woke up this morning to two lovely charges (one of $307.08 at a liquor store and one of $105.76 at nations) both were DoorDash orders. I know it was this particular employee at mountain mikes because I called today and the same unpleasant voice answered the phone. On top of them stealing money, my pizza was dry and cold. In fact, I've never had a pizza so terrible in my entire life. Do yourself a favor and go to any other pizza place besides this one. Your wallet and taste buds will thank you later. read more

Love their pizza, but tonight was really disappointing. I ordered a pizza for delivery at 4:59pm, half pineapple, pepperoni and olive, half artichoke, tomato, feta, pepperoni and olive. Was predicted to arrive at 6:18, didn't arrive until almost 6:40 and was already starting to get a little cold. Now because I love Mountain Mike's I would've totally let ALL of that go, except they put the pineapple on the same side as the artichoke tomato etc side. So the pizza was late, not hot, and prepared wrong. And I had already prepaid a 20% tip. I love MM's pizza, finally there's one in San Rafael. There's a buffet M-F, the whole family enjoys unlimited pizzas. Can't go wrong with the salad bar, soda fountain, and vegetarian pizza if you are one. The employees are extremely nice, they will make anything upon request during buffet hours. One employee started making us a dessert pizza with warm apple slices, it was delicious! The restrooms are clean, big screen TV's on each of the room and easy to see. I called tonight and spoke with "Lisa" and she took my order and confirmed my address. She told me it will arrive in about an hour. At 6:55pm, I called again and spoke with Lisa again. I asked her where my pizza is at. She put me on hold multiple times after I gave her my name and address twice and what I ordered (Half mushroom/olive/chicken and the other half, pepperoni ! She told she does not have my order and does not recall taking my order. I was FURIOUS at this point because we had guests over for dinner. She put in the order again said she could give me 50% off my order. I said you should provide me a free pizza for your screw up ! I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager. She said John is the owner and he is away till next week. I called a third time at 7:54pm and Lisa could not remember my name or address. She asked me again, what was your order? Arrived at 11:30 am on a Saturday. There is one other guy in front of us who has just finished ordering a pizza. We order sandwiches. A half hour later one sandwich arrives with the comment the other is on it's way. My Cliffhanger sandwich, which is described as loaded with your choice of meats, is stuffed with pinkish un-ripe tomatoes, lettuce, a little melted cheese and so little salami that you can't taste it. To their credit, they made me a new sandwich that had maybe twice as much salami. Still would not use the word 'loaded', but it was an improvement. Very slow service, mediocre preparation and less than quality ingredients seem to be the best description I can muster for Mountain Mikes. read more

Why didnt I just pick it up? Because I was at work and couldnt leave my store. And so I called the store twice.
