Typically I Yelp review to highlight outstanding experiences. Not this time. Last night we ordered our first Mtn Mike's pizza. Delighted that they deliver, we placed our otder on line, for 2 pies and wings. Delivery was closer to an hour than the stated 45 minutes, but no big deal. The driver was friendly, and said something like "enjoy your delicious meal." The food was hot, the wings were small but tasty, and the pepperoni/olive pizza was good with an abundance of toppings and a suprisingly spicy kick. Our "cheese pizza" with veggies failed. There was no cheese on the pie.I ate a slice- what a huge disappointment. After a bit I decided to call to ask if I mis-ordered or what- and was told I clearly ordered "no mozzarella" (true)- so I got no cheese. huh? On a cheese pizza?? The person I spoke with was polite, and said next time i shoukd talk to someone if I want regular cheese- no mozzarella. I accepted responsibility and hung up - lesson learned. But it bugged me enough to go back thru the email confirmation. There it was - " base cheese" on my cheese pizza listed (same as on pepperoni pizza) right after sauce and before veggies. But if you want to actually eat the specific pizza you paid for, this location might be a bit of a gamble. We went in with a clear game plan: a Snowy Alps, a classic pepperoni, and an order of actual wings (you know, the kind that still have bones in them). What we walked out with was a combo, a plain cheese, and a batch of glorified chicken nuggets they call "boneless wings." The staff working the counter were perfectly nice, but when we pointed out the rather massive bait-and-switch, there was absolutely zero ownership of the mistake. Came to dine in at Mountain Mikes on a Saturday evening. When we entered there was no one to greet us and we weren't exactly sure where to go so we went to their bar area to grab a seat. We sat there a a bit while we looked over their beer menu. No one came to take to us so we got back up and realized people were now lining up at the front to order at a register. Once we finally ordered, they gave us a number and we went back to the bar area. I ordered a golden state mighty dry cider and my partner ordered a black ale. They have a decent amount of options, beer, cider, seltzers, hard alcohol for mixed drinks. I ordered an 'all you can eat salad', so I walked over to their salad bar to fill up my plate. Ok salad bar, they have a fair amount of salad topping options, nothing crazy. Our pizza didn't take too long to come out, we ordered a mushroom, garlic, olive. It's was fine. Absolutely terrible experience at this pizza place. We waited over 2 hours for our food, and when it finally arrived, the pizza was tiny and not worth the price at all. We ended up paying more than $60 for a small pizza and received no apology or explanation for the delay. The service was rude and unprofessional, and the food itself was disappointing. I've been enjoying this place recently. The pizza is pretty good, and they definitely go all out on the topping, no holding back! Too many pizza spots will hold back on the amount of toppings and this Mountain Mikes doesn't! The pizza is just as delicious reheated in the oven. The y have an all you can eat salad bar that's fresh and has a lot of option. The night manager is very nice and always checks in with how I'm doing and how my food or beer is. If you're in a pinch, Mountain Mike is a good choice for a quick bite. I had the mini cheese pizza. It's personal size and reminds me of Dominoes. I also tried the six piece chicken wings with Korean sauce. The chicken was on the smaller side and were in a pool of sweet and slightly spicy sauce. I'm looking forward to trying more pizza places in Santa Rosa. read more

It's been a couple weeks, but I picked up two gluten-free pizzas. They look beautiful. They tasted great but they weren't gluten-free. I had a terrible reaction that night and laid miserably in bed wondering if I'd get through it. Apparently you don't know how to cook gluten-free because something must've been served around wheat. You won't see me at a mountain Mike's pizza place again. The gentleman was friendly and helpful. But you're surely not gluten-free. read more

Amazing pizza, place was clean and all the staff were very welcoming especially Raj! Will definitely come again with my family.

The outside looks nice but it's in kind of a crappy neighborhood. The inside is also nice with a cute patio. They also have their own large parking lot. The workers were friendly but none of them could make a cocktail even though there was a full bar so I went with a Cranberry vodka but they didn't even have plain cranberry juice. ‍‍ The pizza and salad bar was good but they don't use bail so you can't get a margarita pizza. Just seems strange to me to have a pizza place with no basil service was slow as far as how long it took to get our pizzas. I'd probably would give even less stars since they couldn't make me a drink I wanted and couldn't make the pizza I wanted but like I said the workers were friendly and the pizza and salad bar I did get were pretty good except they also didn't have any vinaigrette for the salad. read more

I wanted a pizza. Didn't have to be fancy. It was around 4 PM last Thursday. I chose this place as it was near my motel. The doors were wide open. Inside there were a couple guys working on one of their play games. There was one other lady with her kid...No one else. I stood around for 10 minutes and no staff showed up. The place was empty. I coulda served myself a beer. This was not expected, especially at a Mtn. Mikes, which the chain was started in the local area. Try harder guys. You missed out on a nice little sale. read more

Have ordered pizza at this location many times. This last time will be the last time. Asked for thin crust, which they say is hand made (it is so NOT handmade!) got something thick and the dough was literally raw through and through. Lots of vegetables but very little cheese. We couldn't stomach the raw dough, so we ate a total of two slices. $41 +tip for a MEDIUM pizza. Don't bother complaining to the guy who answers the phone. He doesn't want to hear it. We come to this location all the time and the staff is always very friendly. The ambiance is nice and big. They do have party rooms that you need to call beforehand to use them.
