One of the worst venues to see a show. Somehow this place manages to get the quality headlining…read moreacts to play and it feels like a necessary evil to patronize this place. My experiences are pretty hit or miss (mostly miss), but my last attempt to see Galactic did not leave a good impression. Why are the clientele here always so hammered by the time the main act comes on? I had at least 4 drinks spilled on me with not even as much as a sorry. Also the girl in front of me was so drunk, I was expecting her to just fall over if it wasn't for her boyfriend. What is wrong with people in this club? Oh wait, maybe it was the fact that the opening band was a no show and they failed to mention that. Instead they want you to waste 2 hours trapped at their bar paying exorbitant prices since you can not leave once you enter. Trapped in hell. Speaking of hell...The venue itself seems hell bent on making you wait in line forever to get in. It is almost as if they do it to look cool. Surely they can speed up their archaic process. Also, don't bother trying to get up to Park City early to grab a ticket before dinner. They will not sell you a ticket without you immediately going inside. Then when you go back they will most likely be sold out and try to up-sell you a VIP ticket. Make sure to buy tickets way ahead of time. One last note, I can't shake the feeling of this place being a death trap if a fire broke out. Great White circa 2003 anyone?? It is packed to the gills and the exits seem like they would be hard to get to. Especially with all the drunk idiots you will have to climb over.

I can honestly say some of the best nights have been partying on Main Street and then ending up at this venue. Can't wait for many more seasons of concerts and parties!!

I paid $56x2 for a middle school production of Elf. What?…read more I saw elf with my entire family over the holidays and it was horrible. For $10, maybe passable. But to charge trusting patrons for quality theater at an iconic theatre and then force them to watch a juvenile production of Elf was not fun to experience. The singing was bad. Only 2 actresses were standout. It was a tough watch. Many people in front of us left after intermission. A tough watch. A tough price. It has shaken my trust of local theatre and I'd be extremely weary of another Egyptian Theatre production before visiting again.

I purchased my ticket directly at the box office which I loved, but personally was bummed when it was still an electronic ticket that I had to deal with. Personally, I love paper tickets. The theatre is small, much smaller than I anticipated so really any seat was great. The acoustics were great and overall everyone there was just there to have a good time. Being tall, I made sure to sit on the end of the row. But I will say, I thought the seating to be more comfortable than I anticipated. I didn't drink, but got a soda which was $3. I didn't think that was awful given I was in a theatre AND I was in Park City. The only downside was the pre-show which began with them asking for money. I assume this is because most folks are locals and they are a non-profit. All wonderful things, but it felt super salesly and honestly, I didn't come for a sales pitch I just wanted to hear some great live music, which fortunately I did.

I recently came here for a show, and had a wonderful experience! I was a little worried about parking, but we got here on the later side - closer to 7/:715ish when the show started at 6:30pm and there was plenty of parking and no traffic at all. You're able to bring your own food, chairs, blankets, etc. into this venue, which is nice. You cannot bring in your own alcohol. You can also pay for a picnic dinner here too for pick up? So cool. They have various food tents around the venue as well. There were only a handful of areas to buy drinks, and they all had long lines, which is to be expected at a concert like this. Drinks are expensive, which is also to be expected. There were only two bathrooms that I saw within the venue, but you can come and go from the venue which is awesome, and you can use the bathrooms within Deer Valley Resort. I haven't been to a show recently that allowed re-entry so that is pretty cool. We snagged a spot all the way up in the back of the venue and could see the stage, but not super well. They have screens here but they're not huge. If you want a better spot I would suggest coming early. I was really impressed by the experience here. We stayed for the entire show and leaving wasn't really an issue. There was some traffic getting out, but it wasn't bad compared to other venues I've been to. Bring blankets or layers to bundle up, because it gets chilly when the sun goes down, even in the hottest part of the summer.
