Chantel was our server and Carla was also part of our delightful evening at Silver Star Cafe! We highly recommend this restaurant. We are locals and know the area and what is best!

They operate like a real family, not in the toxic "we're all family here" way, but in a warm, supportive, actually-enjoyable-to-witness way. You can feel it the moment you walk in. Add to that a rustic, cozy ambiance that's honestly a 20/10, and you're already off to an incredible start. I ordered the Shakshuka, and it was phenomenal. The eggs were cooked perfectly, which is no small feat, showing real expertise in the kitchen. Comforting, balanced, and clearly made with care. We split the green apple and blue cheese salad, which was good, though I've had better. If the dressing were just a bit sweeter and more seasoned, it would really hit its stride. Adding more caramelized pecans and a bit more chopped green apple would give it that final kick it needs. Still enjoyable, just shy of great. The vegan lentil chili was so close to being one of the best I've ever had. The combination of vegetables and lentils was absolutely spot-on, it just needed a touch more seasoning for my taste. A small salt/sugar balance would take it over the top. The corn muffin served alongside was good as well, but could also benefit from a little seasoning. All things considered, this place is a 10/10 for Park City dining. Incredible atmosphere, outstanding service, and food that's thoughtful, skillfully prepared, and clearly made with heart. I'll absolutely be back. TLDR Ambiance: 20/10 Staff Friendliness and Eagerness to share recommendations: 30/10 Shakshuka: 12/10 Vegan Lentil Chili: 7/10 Green Apple and Blue Cheese Salad: 7/10

Utah Olympic Park was such a cool place to visit, even just as a spectator. It was fascinating to…read morewatch people actively skiing and slaloming right in front of you, especially knowing you're standing where parts of the 2002 Olympics actually took place. The whole area is very easy to access, which made it simple to pop in and explore without much planning. I enjoyed just standing there taking it all in and watching everyone fly down the courses like it was no big deal. It's a really enjoyable stop that makes winter sports feel exciting even if you're staying safely on the sidelines.

We tried ordering the cheese pizza only to discover they were out out cheese pizza, because they only made one. We got bagel and cream cheese, which was a bagel out of a bag and a couple things of cream cheese. I had to finish cutting the bagel and toast it myself. I want to be clear about my complaint, I'm not saying the cafe needed more veggie options. My complaint is that for the ENTIRE day they made 2 pizzas, one pepperoni, and one cheese and once they were gone, they were gone. At which point there were no more reasonably filling options for vegetarians. The solution: make more than one f-ing pizza. The zipline, the tubing, and the ropes courses were all a lot a fun. I would 100% come back on a future trip. Now I know I need to pack a lunch.

I paid $56x2 for a middle school production of Elf. What?…read more I saw elf with my entire family over the holidays and it was horrible. For $10, maybe passable. But to charge trusting patrons for quality theater at an iconic theatre and then force them to watch a juvenile production of Elf was not fun to experience. The singing was bad. Only 2 actresses were standout. It was a tough watch. Many people in front of us left after intermission. A tough watch. A tough price. It has shaken my trust of local theatre and I'd be extremely weary of another Egyptian Theatre production before visiting again.

I purchased my ticket directly at the box office which I loved, but personally was bummed when it was still an electronic ticket that I had to deal with. Personally, I love paper tickets. The theatre is small, much smaller than I anticipated so really any seat was great. The acoustics were great and overall everyone there was just there to have a good time. Being tall, I made sure to sit on the end of the row. But I will say, I thought the seating to be more comfortable than I anticipated. I didn't drink, but got a soda which was $3. I didn't think that was awful given I was in a theatre AND I was in Park City. The only downside was the pre-show which began with them asking for money. I assume this is because most folks are locals and they are a non-profit. All wonderful things, but it felt super salesly and honestly, I didn't come for a sales pitch I just wanted to hear some great live music, which fortunately I did.
