One of the worst venues to see a show. Somehow this place manages to get the quality headlining acts to play and it feels like a necessary evil to patronize this place. My experiences are pretty hit or miss (mostly miss), but my last attempt to see Galactic did not leave a good impression. Why are the clientele here always so hammered by the time the main act comes on? I had at least 4 drinks spilled on me with not even as much as a sorry. Also the girl in front of me was so drunk, I was expecting her to just fall over if it wasn't for her boyfriend. What is wrong with people in this club? Oh wait, maybe it was the fact that the opening band was a no show and they failed to mention that. Instead they want you to waste 2 hours trapped at their bar paying exorbitant prices since you can not leave once you enter. Trapped in hell. Speaking of hell...The venue itself seems hell bent on making you wait in line forever to get in. It is almost as if they do it to look cool. Surely they can speed up their archaic process. Also, don't bother trying to get up to Park City early to grab a ticket before dinner. They will not sell you a ticket without you immediately going inside. Then when you go back they will most likely be sold out and try to up-sell you a VIP ticket. Make sure to buy tickets way ahead of time. One last note, I can't shake the feeling of this place being a death trap if a fire broke out. Great White circa 2003 anyone?? Went to Park City Live with a group of friend in Jan. Got a table and bottle service. The total charge came to $700. I was then charged an additional $250 from Park City Live on my CC. I reached out to Park City Live and they never responded to my voice mail or emails, so I disputed the charge with my CC. Park City Live forwarded an un-signed receipt for a table fee. So they were trying to double charge me for the table! The table, drinks, and gratuity were included in their bill which I signed at the table. Do not make my mistake and use your credit card at this place! It was a big fight a big waste of time to get my $250 refunded. I do believe they were trying to cheat and double charge. read more

I've been to two great shows here now and I'm warming up to the place. I didn't love it when it was Harry O's but they may have won me over with Morgan Page and Kaskade. There is still a bit of rampant douchebaggery, but I'm trying to forgive and forget. Unless you buy VIP tickets you'll be forced to stand in the tiny pit which makes up about 1/8 of the club, the rest is roped off VIP. The bathroom situation is totally abysmally, I saw 2 stalls for the entire club. Sound quality was terrible, bouncers acted like elitist Vegas d-bags, and the bartenders were terrible. We took a screenshot on the tickets that my friends won. So we showed the lady that was taking down names. She gave us attitude and was being really rude to us. There was obviously miscommunication with their end. It doesn't help to be rude to us for just trying to get in. After that I just didn't feel welcome 2. When we were inside we went to the bar. My boyfriend gave me money to by drinks. I Ask the bar tender to give us 4 drinks. I received my drinks and the bar tender said "no tip" with a bad attitude. I told him that it wasn't my money to be spending. He replied with "We don't work for free" I gave my boyfriend back his money and he tip the guy I understand that they don't get paid well for bar tending, but that was very immature and disrespectful. The night went on and we were having a good time. Later I started to feel really dizzy and I asked my boyfriend to get me some water. He went to the same bar tender that sold us the previous drink. My boyfriend ask the bar tender and the bar tender said "we don't work for free" which made my boyfriend mad. He asked again and he ignored us and refused service to us. I reported Park City Live for unsafe practices in regard to distributing alcohol. They would not give us water. They wouldn't even give us a CUP to go to the SINK IN THE BATHROOM to get water. They claimed "we're not allowed to give free water in anyway". There wasn't even a drinking fountain. Instead we were FORCED to pay $5 for glass of water, which I thought is totally illegal.... According to the Licensing Act, any restaurants that serve alcohol are legally required to give customers free tap water. Pubs, clubs and cafes also have to serve free water if they serve alcohol. If a licensed premises refuses you free tap water, the advice is to speak to the manager (who told me I was wrong and to "just piss off"). I've contacted the local authority licensing department and I hope Park City Live changes their ways, it's dangerous and unsafe to deny people that basic human right. In addition to that fun: my friend was having a medical emergency unstairs in VIP and they wouldn't let up there to help her. When I tried just to go I was physically assaulted. Horrific staff, very unhelpful and rude, horrible management, unsafe practices, overly crowded, unclean and overpriced. Would not recommend. Will not come back. I'm selling all my tickets through Sundance, I can't stand this place. read more

On balance I really like Park City Live. Saw Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia at PCL last week during Sundance which was totally rad and / or because / under-marketed. Love the venue, service was attentive, pretty intimate space. Total cost (door + drinks) was reasonable for such an awesome evening. Then almost went to Nelly with 13 of my friends a few days later but bailed when we couldn't come to an agreement with their events people. Will definitely go back next year. read more

Park City Live is a great little venue nestled in the otherwise cozy town of Park City. Despite the insanity going on during Sundance Film Festival, event staff were friendly, giving us a full play by play of the weekend's headliners. Unfortunately, because this place is the only game in town (or perhaps even the state), prices for seemingly typical acts in larger NYC venues are MUCH more expensive at Park City Live than they are in NYC. I get it - you can't compare Manhattan with Park City, Utah, but shouldn't the same performances be CHEAPER here than in NYC? Case in point - during Sundance Film festival, for example, Nervo was spinning on Wednesday night, with a $40 cover/ticket charge. On Thursday, they had Kaskade for $100. For comparative purposes, Armin Van Buuren (ranked consistently by DJ Mag as the BEST DJ on the PLANET) was spinning on New Year's Eve in NYC, with general admission tickets going for as little as $135. New Year's Even people... 'nuff said. Prices aside Park City Live still deserves four stars for two reasons (1) - Nice venue with large dance floor and upstairs areas that's clubby but not too "warehouse-y" and (2) All exits are NOT final! As others noted, you can leave for some cheaper (and likely stronger) drinks and come back here when you're ready to resume dancing your tails off! read more

Love coming here for events. This is such a great venue and no matter where you stand, you have a pretty good view of the show. There are a few things that make this place. Bathrooms are clean! I can never express enough how important it is to have clean bathrooms. I already hate going to bathrooms but it makes it doable when they are clean. They bring in awesome DJs. Of course for Sundance you expect the best, but they have great DJs coming in all year round. Not to mention that the venue is fairly small so there is a more intimate atmosphere with the DJs. It is not impossible to get a drink. They have 4 bars for this place and they are evenly spread out so the wait isn't long and it's easy access no matter where you are. PCL located at 427 Main Street in Park City, is a legit venue for EDM concerts, nice club dancing, and checking out the good looking crowd of Salt Lake City. Lots of dance space, a great stage for the DJ's coming to play. Lots of bars, I counted 4, but there might be one or 2 more. Lots of VIP Booths, and a great atmosphere in general. The sound quality is great and you can feel even the floor vibrate at times with the great bass they have. A must go to at least once if only visiting Utah. Especially for an EDM concert with a good known DJ. It does not have a patio, and the price for the entrance depends on the show happening that night, or if it's just a regular club night. read more

One star because the staff are rude, they are unwilling to post show start times because they want you to come early and buy over priced drinks for 3 hours, the sound was off. My sister wanted to go see Nelly for her birthday at Park City Live so we all purchased tickets (about 10 of us) 3 weeks ago. We also got hotel rooms and paid $40 per car to park. Right before Nelly came on stage their security made a line and started pushing and forcefully shoving about 100 of us out of the concert. I ask what was happening and was told "there is an emergency, we just need everyone to step outside for a few minutes." Once I was shoved out the doors we found out the truth. Park City Live oversold the concert and the fire marshal showed up. So to avoid shutting down the concert they lied and pushed out whoever they could (people standing in the back half of the venue who PAID THE SAME AMOUNT AS EVERYONE STANDING IN THE FRONT HALF. They gave us a paper wrist band and told us we would be getting a refund. After lots of calls to Park City Live, dozens of emails to them & even comments on their social media asking how we get our refund from people outside of my group (which I've monitored and they just delete the comments as soon as they go up) we are at a loss of what to do?!? We paid a lot of money for each ticket and it doesn't seem right that they can get away with this. I don't drink, we weren't being rowdy, we were just hanging /dancing (we were there for 2.5 hours waiting for Nelly to come on stage). They have not responded to a single email, phone call or post on how to get our refund. Not knowing she was an employee, I politely said, "what the hell is your problem?" She gave me a dirty look and walked over to security and whispered something in this big fat guys ear. He walked right over to me and aggressively grabbed me by the neck and said "you don't hit a woman" I asked him what the hell he was talking about and he said "you wanna get smart with me?" And proceeded to choke me and drag me out of the venue for absolutely no reason. 8 of my close friends AND my girlfriend witnessed the whole thing. I literally did nothing wrong. After they threw me out, my homies asked the security guard why they threw me out. Apparently the lady working bottle service told him I punched her when I literally didn't lay a finger on her. $25 wasted and I didn't even get to see the dj I paid to see. There was no communication at all. They could have at least told me why they were throwing me out and I don't know, maybe asked me to verify if I really hit her. But no, they completely abused their authority. They may as well be a bunch of police. Oh, and the venue is not nice at all. No lasers, very small and expensive. There are VIP couches EVERYWHERE, even right next to the stage. Making it impossible to actually enjoy any show. It's all about how much money you want to pay them. I get it, your a business. This place is ridiculous. It says on the ticket the performance starts at 8pm, but we found out later that only means the door opens around that time, if not later than that. We arrived close to 8pm, but were told to wait outside the door in the cold till they were ready. We got in after about 15 minutes and I was excited to see Paul Oakenfold come to stage. Silly me! The staff said he wouldn't show up untill after 11:30pm or midnight, and this place doesn't allow reentry!!!! Wow! This is unbelievable. They should have the schedule on the ticket or the website so that we can plan the night better instead of being stuck here for hours. This is truly a disappointment. read more

Located in gorgeous Park City Utah away from the SLC scene. Prices are a little more than back down in town but nothing to complain about, every bar and restaurant in Park City is pricier. Don't go out if you cant afford it, or don't buy the drinks no one is forcing you.You go Vegas and expect to pay more and Park City is the exact same way but waaay less. I guess people need things to complain about and buying drinks in PC is one of them. A beer is $5-7 and a drink is $6-$12, honestly only a few bucks more than SLC. People from SLC are just super cheap and think the prices are outrageous when they can just go buy the beer in the store for cheaper hahaha ridiculous. There are multiple different tiers of VIP tables available and the VIP hosts are easy to work with on just about every show. 3 full bars on the main floor and upstairs is the SKY bar usually for VIP but is some times opened up for GA ticket holders if there is no VIP for that show. The upstairs has mezzanines on both sides that have an amazing overview of the whole downstairs and stage. It is a classy venue unlike those in SLC. They book Billboard chart acts, always bringing in new and hot music. The acoustics you wont find in ANY other venue in the state of Utah like at PCL. Hot cocktail staff and cool bartenders. Shows sell out and people keep coming back so they must be doing something right! Don't let those negative Nancy's get you down, this place is awesome!! read more

I just want to go on record and let everyone know that Park City Live changed the door times by an hour without alerting ticketholders, who were then left to wait outside at night in January. The temperature was -7°. When we were finally allowed in, the space was adequate for a concert. Nothing to get excited about, but it did the job. We were able to get right up front against the stage, which was awesome. I came to see the opening band, and was really excited for such a close spot. Midway through their set, security pushed through and insisted on standing directly in front of us. As the show was sold out, the crowd eventually pushed us back against the stage, which the security guards were unable to prevent without barricades. The bouncer next to me pushed me over to allow two adorable blondes that he had been flirting with into the front row next to him. At the end of the opening band's set, we migrated outside near the merch table, hoping for an opportunity to meet them, but security informed us that we either had to go back inside or leave. We chose the latter. If a band I wanted to listen to was playing at this venue I would definitely return, but I don't think they're very nice here. read more

Cash only bars, very fast bar tenders and plenty of security ensure good experience. I saw the Slash show, it is rare to see an extraordinarily famous and talented artist in a tiny venue this close up, and I would highly recommend trying to do so. I should preface this review with the disclaimer that I've only ever been to PCL during the weeks of the Sundance Film Festival. I'm not sure how this place is during the rest of the year. During Sundance though I've been blown away by this place though. They book really big talent, both EDM and hip hop. The venue itself is fairly large and has a large dance floor. The dance floor can get very, very crowded. The main bar is moderately crowded, but it's not too difficult to quickly get a drink. I'd recommend getting a VIP ticket though so you have access to the bar upstairs. You'll also have a place to sit down upstairs. What really surprised me about this place though was it's technological and auditory sophistication. For a place this size, they have one of the most advanced lighting systems I've ever seen. It feels like an actual concert, yet it's still a fairly small venue where you can easily get right up close to the artist. If someone is playing here that you've been wanting to see, if highly recommend seeing them here. I've had many awesome nights at PCL. read more

VIP not worth it if you want to be close to the action. If you're fine sitting up on the "U" shaped mezzanine, away from the stage, and away from the action it might be worth it to you. Several people whom had paid for VIP ended up foregoing their pricier seating and standing on the floor. Vocals can be hard to hear. Stood up front next to the stage, made it difficult to hear Aaron Lewis when performing songs with lots of bass that drowned out the vocals. read more

Great acts come through here, definitely some of the top headliners as far as EDM and rap go. The club itself is just okay when it comes to sound quality, layout, and overall atmosphere - expect it to get extremely crowded during busy weekends and Sundance. The bathrooms are crowded and dirty, which is typical for most venues full of drunk people. When it comes to the staff, expect to be treated like crap - regardless of how much you spend. That doesn't make any damn sense, you guys have been standing in there for at least an hour having your little meeting. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, someone could have came out and said something to us! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone and will NOT be returning. If it weren't for there no refund policy I wouldn't even be attending the show tonight! This experience has ruined my whole mood before the show. UPDATE: When it got close to the show starting me and my friends headed up to our VIP spot. Security came up there to move us along with other people several times away from the area( apparently they we're selling those sections to people while we were there) even though we paid extra to be up there. We went downstairs to report this to the managers Amber and Matt, we even had a talk with the head of security and no one seemed to care! ALL of them were being extremely rude to us and ignoring what we were saying! Amber walked right out of the door after one of the securities went up to her to tell her what the issue was.( He(the security guard)was full of it too because he was claiming that she was about to come up to talk to us but obviously she just ignored us by looking up at us then walking outside. And then he switched to saying supposedly his other manager(Matt) was going to come up to talk to us but never did) So I went up to Matt and started explaining everything to him that I was explained to security guard (who obviously didn't care). Matt acted like his phone rang for a call as I was speaking to him and walked off on me! Then the head of security comes over and we're explaining the same thing to him and telling him just as we told Matt, the security guard and Amber who is causing this nonsense and he just blew us off and left! Went to Nelly concert Saturday night the event was way over sold way too many people. Sound quality was terrible. The bar tender Jonathan informed me I did not spend enough money to be standing in front of his bar area. Which he then decided to cut me off for the night to abuse his power of being a bar tender. Obviously as a paying customer I did not feel like leaving the bartenders a tip on the bill. They decided to help themselves to the receipt adding their own $37 tip. This is absurd. A sold out show, and only ONE bathroom available for both men and women to share. From the time we got in line for the restroom, it was 47 minutes 5tl the stall. Broken doors on the stalls. Only TWO stalls for over 100+ women to share with the men's restroom. NO staff was directing patrons to the use restroom for a more streamline flow of traffic considering the issue. EXTREMELY poor health conditions! No direction whatever. Such poor hosting for such a "genuine" venue. The word amongst the bathroom was, "I'm never coming here again". Myself and the 60+ others I spoke to in that line concurred. Where's your management? Was in town for a couple shows they had at Park City Live. Great shows and nice venue. However, the service at the Sky Bar upstairs could have been more exceptional. After spending $65 (before tip) on already overpriced drinks with Andrew all night on 3/15/17, I closed out my tab and sipped my drink. I then asked for him to top it off, because it tasted watered down. He said "he couldn't" and looked at me like I was an idiot. I walked away $75 later and felt rubbed the wrong way. If I ever come back here, I will avoid the upstairs or just get drinks from other bartenders such as Sheila. Basically, wasn't worth paying the extra $$ for VIP to be treated like that. Park City Live is one of THE WORST venues in Utah. There is zero crowd organization, which means when the shows end, the exits jam up with people trying to retrieve their coats. The staff could not control the drunks trying to cause trouble. There was only one working bathroom (mens) in the venue with two stalls. The bouncers are rude, and out of line. When we pay such a steep price for a ticket, we should be treated with respect. The price of water is RIDICULOUS. We asked the bartenders for a cup of water and they all told us NO. If we want to fill up our water we can do it in the bathroom (which always runs hot water). Not giving people water is a total depreciation of basic human rights. The people that troll this place are just as bad. No one has any consideration for personal space... be prepared to be shoved constantly by juice heads and their loser bimbo girlfriends. Personal space is lacking, especially when they sell too many tickets. You had better hope that you're not dancing underneath the second floor or you'll get a drink spilled on you. I hope the owner sees this and makes changes instead of wiping his ass with his all of his dollar bills. Talk about a 400% up charge on a shot of shitty vodka and a beer. Saw Everest and Minus the Bear here last week. First time to the venue and to Park City. Good sized place, I liked it enough. Acoustics were decent. It was easy to get to either bar but they didn't have an amazing selection of rum. They had a lot of other things. Good rum was not in the hizouse. And that's what I like. So I was disappointed. My favorite venue in Utah. Security at most venues really sucks but they were awesome a couple weekends ago. My girlfriend became ill and Security was super helpful. She has had a few seizures in the past and Security really helped out immensely once they knew what was going on. JR took us each out of the venue and made sure we were well taken care of. The security guys are ridiculously rude and aggressive while we are doing absolutely nothing wrong - the entire night. Drinks are very expensive while they only serve half of a small shot glass. Hot place, small, and too many VIP areas. They only serve well who pays the most. The only thing that saved the night was Zedd, who I was really looking forward to see playing. read more

This is a terrible venue. They totally scammed me out of more money by pitching their VIP Mezzanine is private seating and tables that you pay extra for when in fact it's standing room only, just like General Admission. The sound is terrible, if you are not up front, you can't hear the artist but everyone talking and don't get me started on trying to get to the women's bathroom!
