This is the ONLY place to take your pet for grooming! Sonja and her team are AMAZING! After loosing a furkid two months ago, Sonja called me to see how I was doing. Her and her team had built a bond with my dog and treated him so well. I know they loved him and he loved going to see them, so this meant a lot to me while I was grieving. I recently brought in a new puppy and Sonja took the time to get on the floor so my dog could meet her and get comfortable with her. The rest of her team also took the time to get to know my Max to make him feel comfortable with being at a groomer for the first time. When I picked up Max he was happy to see me, but even gave Sonja a kiss when she said good-bye. This melted my heart because I knew he felt safe and loved there. My miniature schnauzer Mr. Fred has been going here since he was a baby his 4 years old now and this is the only place we go to he will not go anywhere else the ladies are amazing and always do a beautiful job and they always let me know if they see something that needs me to get checked I extremely recommend these groomers if you love you're fur baby and want the best grooming care for them I just can't say enough of how amazing these ladies and this place is. read more

I have been coming here for a few years bringing my staffie, but I had stopped for a while because I had a groomer come to the house because I had a senior dog who wasn't mobile. We lost our senior dog a few weeks ago and brought our nugget back and I can't tell you just how great they are. They couldn't find nuggets info but they remembered her. You can see the love they have for these animals and it's not just a business or a job and that means a lot. I've always dealt with Katie in the past ..I thought her name was Sonja but I learned who Sonja actually is this time around who was always super sweet in the past. Katie is not there regularly anymore so it was nice to talk to the other ladies who are so lovely. They are also very reasonable and I will never go to anyone else. read more

Sorry I waited so long for this update but here goes. Babeegurl is what her name implies. Last time in when I picked her up had to meet the groomer outside and Babee just wanted away from there. I put her in the car while the groomer went inside to process my credit card. Upon getting home I noticed two spots where Babee was burnt. Nothing was mentioned about the burns by the groomer. She lost the hair on those spots, which I medicated immediately. i have been taking my dogs here for a long time without problems but now I will no longer recommend Mountain View for grooming your pets. read more

Called because I'm new to the area. I need a groomer for my 45 lb pup. Regular medium sized dog. The rude woman who answered said they can't do 45 lb dogs. What type of dog groomer can't do normal sized dogs. She tried to give me the phone number of a completely different groomer like she's some sort of shill who is funneling customers to different groomers. Definitely a strange phone call. I've never heard of a dog groomer who can't do a 45 lb dog. read more

The person that had called said that it was a mistake on their part because they scheduled our appointment at the same time as another. So they moved our appointment without even notifying us first and instead told us they tried "calling" yet never even left a voice-mail. And yet again, saying that it was because we didn't answer their supposed call which we never got, by the way. Now they are saying they moved it because of a flooding??? Nope. Plus, they told me they had "tried" to call 2 weeks ago and made the change themselves 2 WEEKS AGO. Flood story makes no sense. read more

Been bringing my pets to this place for a while and I always see they are nice ladies and happy to take my pets in. On last visit I was told that my pug was way too playful so they refuse to give a coat trim and that my 3 pound chihuahua is too aggressive so they refuse a coat trim too. What gives? No one else has ever told me they can't handle my small pets for a coat trim because most places do know how to manage pets. If you can't handle a 3 pound chihuahua I hate to see what they do for a 100 pound Rottie. Sounds to me like this place just came up with excuses to not want to do the work. Taking my money somewhere else from now on, my pets deserve better. This place is a total waste of time. read more

My dog is an 8 year old Shih Tzu. I was keeping her fur long and unmatted. My friend recommended Pet Boutique, since the weather was warm, I decided to have her professionally groomed again, after 1 year. I was quoted $60 for the grooming. When I picked her up, they wanted me to pay for the service. It was at that time I was paying with my debit card, the card system automatically had various amounts for tipping. I added a $10 dollar tip. As I looked at the total amount due, the machine showed the amount of $80 dollars. I was then told the additional monies were because it took her two times cutting her fur! One correct cut would have done the trick because she gave my dog a puppy cut (shave). I still hadn't checked out their work. When I got home, I checked her ears and nails. THEY NEVER CLEANED HER EARS AND SOME NAILS WERE NOT TRIMMED. In all the years having dogs, some being Maltese and Doberman, this never happened before. Bait and switch? There was nothing spectacular about their work, after being charged this amount. It is too far away to demand they complete their work. I should be refunded, at the very least, $40 dollars. This place exceeded my expectations! I am so happy with the results of my shih tzu dog Kobee! The groomers here are true perfectionists. I wish I could post a before and after picture of my dog. He looks adorable! They really pay attention to detail and take their time with the nails, clean the ears out, squeeze the anal glands and top it off with a perfectly uniform haircut. I felt really good leaving knowing my dog would be in a nice and clean place with a friendly groomer. Not only did Kobee my dog look great, he was calm and happy leaving there. After taking my dogs here for over three years, I am appalled to leave a one star review, but I have no choice. Sonia and Brooke have always groomed my dogs, and the last time I took them in my female, had skipped her last grooming to do some health issues, and I specifically asked for a schnauzer cut, and when I picked her up, she was shaved. I honestly don't know why they shaved her completely when I picked her up but when I told them that she was supposed to have a schnauzer cut, and I even mentioned that when I drop them off, they just looked puzzled and said, sorry we can't put it back on. When I showed up to my grooming appointment this morning, they did not greet me or say hello and Sonia asked if we were doing a schnauzer cut this time... I said yes because she was supposed to have it last time and they messed up. Sonia proceeded to tell me that they thought I overreacted by their mistake when I picked my dogs up and I made Brooke cry because I was upset that she shaved my dog instead of doing the cut I asked for. She also said "it's not like we cut your dogs leg, we just cut her hair off" (not to mention that two times ago she did slice my dogs ear open. I have always tipped generously and stayed there since before Covid upon their several price increases. It was at that moment that I did not feel comfortable. Leaving my dogs there especially having attitude from Sonia, the owner, I would never treat a customer like that. Especially if it was my employee who screwed up in the first place. I ended up saying that I was not comfortable leaving my dogs there and walked out and she just said OK bye. This level of unprofessionalism is baffling. I would highly suggest not coming here unless you want to be treated like crap. read more
