I actually saw a sign off the 57 fwy on a Sunday afternoon and I am VERY happy I did! We were in the process of moving and had a ton of junk/trash left over. We don't have a truck and the U-Haul truck had already been returned. Only other option was to rent another truck and drive to the dump! I have to say that these guys worked very hard and worked very fast. Omg these movers saved my life! We booked them very last minute. Literally two days before moving and they helped schedule me in. The two men that were sent to help me move came with a huge truck. These men were on a time limit basis since we were paying per hour but they hustled their butts off! On top of hustling they were very careful with our furniture which was appreciated. On April 1st, we moved from Newport Beach to Sunset Beach. Thomas (owner) and his crew arrived on time and after they came in and assessed what was to be loaded on the truck, they got to work. They wrapped my dining room table and 6 chairs in shrink wrap and all of my flat screens and a valuable and sentimental antique in moving blankets. When they were almost done loading, my friend unexpectedly gave us some beautiful pieces of furniture, so we asked Thomas if he could make 2 extra stops before getting to our new house. He was very flexible and accommodating and loaded furniture at one extra stop and unloaded and reloaded at the other extra stop and then finally we made it home. Thomas and his crew unloaded and placed each box and piece of furniture in the room that each item was labeled with. For 6 hours of work the total was $600 including a tip. Not only is this company prompt, prepared, flexible, hard working and inexpensive, they are very kind and easy to talk to. Normally I resent posts by non-customers. If a contractor didn't come to do an estimate, don't give him a one star rating alright? Though I'm a non customer in this case I'm leaving a review bc of what happened. I spoke with Thomas about my need to return a fridge to Home Depot and pick up another fridge from Home Depot. He said he would be bringing a crew of two and a truck. Two people did arrive but not a truck. They wanted to put the new and to be returned fridge on a shallow, bouncy Uhaul. Any damage and I'm in the hook for this fridge so I ask how they plan to protect the fridge. Their idea was to shrink wrap it. Maybe they had some pads. Either way the likelihood of damage would be very high. So: what they were offering me was inappropriate for the job, likely to scratch and make unreturnable the fridge, and at an extremely high price of $180 for a total driving distance of about 10 miles. read more
