The worst pest control services out there. We had scheduled services on 8/23/21, they came and sprayed our exterior which left yellow stains across the front of our home and garage. It took them over a week to come out and and clean the house. However, upon arrival, they arrived with no cleaning tools. They came back the next day and cleaned half of the stains, and noted that some stains were not coming off. Upon cleaning the garage door, whatever chemical they used to clean, now left my driveway stained. Now they are not coming back to clean that for another 5 days. Customer service was a nightmare to work with and provided no urgency to clean and refusal to refund. And FYI - you can't clean this yourself, we tried using household sprays, a power washer, etc - does not work. Do not go with this company unless you want your home stained with yellow chemicals. In addition, the actual people that do the sprays are very sketchy and offer to do add-on services for cheaper prices with cash under the table, ha. I interrupted him to let him know we already had a service and were not interested. He kept talking, and I told him we were eating dinner and to please leave. I shut the door but my husband and I could hear him continuing to speak as if I was still there. I opened the door and he was continuing to give his pitch as if I was still standing there. I told him to get off of my porch immediately and he smiled and kept giving his pitch to the iPad. Again, I shut the door, and he yet again refused to leave and continued to stand on our porch speaking as if I was standing there even though I asked him again and closed the door. I opened the door yet again and interrupted the young man to tell him this and ask him to leave my property immediately. He started laughing at me and went down to his little Segway scooter on my walkway and stopped there to continue talking into an iPad yet again. Eventually, he finally left. The sales guy who came to my door, Andrew, was very professional, knowledgeable and NOT pushy at all. After I signed up I had a couple follow-up questions and called the call center. My call was literally answered in 2 seconds after the first ring. The customer service representative, Trish, was super friendly and helpful. My first service was today, just two days after I signed up. The two technicians, Charlie and Carlos, came to the door first to introduce themselves and to explain everything they'd be doing in detail. They were very professional, personable and incredibly thorough. They applied the overall treatment inside and out, and addressed the specific issues I raised, including a large mound of carpenter ants and an occasional mouse sighting. I had a suspicious young guy, late teens or early twenties, pass three "No Trespassing" signs at sundown, ~8:15pm today, with no mask, no introduction, no company vehicle, no company name - just riding a hoverboard-like thing - launch into a sales pitch at me. I listened for about 30 seconds trying to figure him out - he didn't make eye contact, stumbled a bit... thought maybe he could be casing my home for burglary, as has been known to happen. Told him politely, "Not interested." He ignored me, kept talking, and after about 20 seconds more I loudly said, "Get out." He started to leave, while also beginning to make fun of my clothes and tell me I'm crazy. He didn't actually leave, though; he stopped halfway down my driveway on his hoverthing, continuing to insult me. I continued about my business for about 20 seconds more, hoping he'd just leave, but he did not, at which point I yelled at him to "get the #%^* off my property," once, then again shortly after when he still wouldn't leave. And STILL he wouldn't leave! After another pause, I ran at him, literally trying to chase him off my property, and he at least went to the edge of the driveway where it is technically "public" property, and continued to hurl the same insults at me. He heard my daughter in the yard, and threatened me, saying he should call someone about my kids, suggesting that they were not safe with me. I entertained him a while longer until I could see him head down the road, and even took a moment to try and briefly explain why I was yelling at him, and even why I don't want whatever he's peddling, but he continued to insult and threaten me like a broken record. I also pointed out the signs right next to me at the end of the driveway he disobeyed, which he strangely openly denied existed, all the while apparently recording me on a tablet. He did eventually head down the road. I have contacted the company with this experience as well. I can't say for sure the whole company is like this guy, but if they hired him, there is a good chance the whole lot is as disrespectful and inappropriate as the one I had to deal with this evening. Nevertheless, to be on the safe side I agreed to termite protection. I signed for it, but the guy never said I was signing for a yearly subscription. When got a bill this December three times the usual amount I called customer service. The first guy was nice and said "we can make this right; I'll get you to a supervisor. The woman was anything but polite. She informed me that I had signed for yearly renewal; not a one-time service. I said, "No-one told me that." She basically told me touch luck. I said "No, thank you" 5 times while trying to gently shut my door. He kept gliding forward with his iPad to keep the door open. I finally said ok, $79.00 trial period. If I don't want to continue, I can just cancel, right? He said Yes, just try it out and shoved that damn ipad in my hands and said all this really explains is the termites & bugs we're responsible for removing and that you are agreeing to the trial period that costs $79.00. I signed. Gave him his iPad and asked him to please leave. They showed up the next day for service. This time they seemed fairly professional. Did the outside work and then came inside and did the work and asked questions. When they were done, I gave him my CC and it was charged for $79.00. I told the guy right then and there that I appreciated him, but no longer need their services. He said that he recommends the services a few more months because the treatments need to be maintained. I told him that's ok, no thanks. I personally saw him begin the email to cancel my services. A couple months later I received a text message one morning from Joshua's and it said that service was needed and they will be out TODAY. I was at work. I figured they mistakenly texted the wrong number. NOPE. 2 hours later my wife calls me and tells me they came to the front door. I told her to tell them we don't need service and I'm sure she did politely with a smile. The kid got back into his truck. Stayed in front of my house for 15 minutes and drove off. I then noticed that Joshua's was trying to charge me for service! I called and told them that I cancelled the service long ago. I paid what I agreed to pay. Please leave me, my family and home alone. I still get calls to this day. They leave me voicemails saying that I owe for service (which I never received and never wanted) and that my account is going to collections! I'm warning you, please don't sign that iPad or give them a credit card. Call the police instead. Warn your neighbors too! This company at some point will not be able to continue these shady business practices. I've dealt with some bad before, but nothing has been even close to this! I have a credit score of 820. I've never not paid for something that I received services for; if this company sends my account to collections and gets away with it and hurts my credit I will go all out informing everyone in Indiana that they're company is a scam. I'm definitely not a fan of the very pushy sales tactics used by the salespeople of the company. Sales is about convincing people of why they need a service based on points of quality of service, not pushing people to the point of saying yes because they don't see any other way out of the conversation (after saying, "I'm not interested," seven ways to Sunday). Also saying they treat someone down the block named Jack, when no one on that street is named Jack is just flat out shady, not to mention even if someone named Jack did live down the street, that's a confidentiality breach for Jack. They've come out to our house two or three times to sell their product in the past year and each time, it's been the same pushy sales tactics. Also, none of the salespeople we've dealt with have worn masks or social distanced despite coming out during the fall, early spring, and late spring during the COVID pandemic. I give them 2 stars though because when I did call their office to cancel before the first service could be completed, the person I spoke with on the phone was very courteous and understanding when I explained the situation. There was no charge for the cancellation of service and everything ended up being fine, though the salesperson who initially sold the plan came back to our house and knocked/stood outside/tried to see inside for about 3-5 minutes. We didn't answer the door, opting instead to just leave well enough alone and not deal with that situation again.
