The penne vodka with grilled chicken and with crispy chicken was AMAZING. My husband and I traveled an hour to get to this place and did not regret it. Just left this place... I ordered caprese salad with tomato and fresh mozzarella and grilled chicken. The salad was good but I had to seriously spit the chicken out in my napkin . I didn't want to be rude but there was no way that chicken was going into my body. I cannot even describe the taste. I called the owner over to ask the chef what kind of spice was on it .. a big burly looking guy came to the table and mumbled lemon pepper and left . It was not lemon pepper!! If you have not tried this place yet, do it!! We stopped by on a random Saturday around 3 or 4 PM, no wait, super quiet. This was for sure the best pizza I've had so far in NJ (we are Brooklyn transplants, so that's saying something). We got the classic pie with pepperoni and the burger. Both were excellent; the crust, cheese, and sauce were perfect and they clearly use high-quality ingredients. We also tried the meatball appetizer, perfect again! Tried this place after seeing it on tik tok.. so far every place ive tried from tik tok was a miss. However, this place passed my expectations. At first I was a bit skeptical, because of the look. It seemed like a take out pizza place, but I was pleased to see there was seating. Very minimal seating, but I only think they should expand because they will definitely be needing it soon. The mozzarella sticks are by far, easily the best mozzarella sticks ive ever had. The sauce is amazing, I also had their mashed potatoes, and stuffed rigatoni. AMAZING! Never order delivery from this place. I'm a mere 2.6 miles away, and I ordered a cheesesteak around noon. It's currently 1:40 and I still haven't received my order. I called them after 45 minutes, requesting an ETA for the food for the response, "It'll be there any minute." 45 minutes later, no sign. So, I call to cancel the order because I have practice soon and the speaker blames me: "You said it was 2.1 miles away when it was really 3.6. You are out of our delivery range but I made the exception." My apologies for the half a mile difference (which he exaggerated to 1.5) - regardless, be it 1/2 or 1.5 miles, it doesn't take an hour and a half to deliver my food (assuming it took 15 minutes to cook my one cheesesteak). After looking at the menu I decided to go with the "octopus salad". I am a fan of seafood and I absolutely love octopus! But this place made an octopus salad very dry and the octopus was SALTY!!. I have given this restaurant many chances. With the exception of the meatball hero, which was tasty, the food is either ok or terrible. The pizza tastes like a frozen pie from the supermarket. My panini had grill marks on it, but was cold on the inside. I ordered the chicken marsala twice. The first time it was bland. The second time, the chicken was spoiled. I am so impressed. Try the mushroom ravioli. It perfectly cooked. The fresh warm bread out of the pizza oven is perfect for sopping up the mushroom sauce. We also tried the monkfish served with garlic mashed potatoes--oh my bliss. It was so amazing. Plus the servers were so welcoming. Oh, and the teramesu was a perfect end to the meal. Even through the pandemic, there are still places to eat such as Mozzarella! I went here with my significant other and thanks to social media apps (TikTok and Instagram), we found this place to eat! The appetizers were fantastic such as the crostini and the famous mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. We also ordered some calamari and it was very delicious as well! For our main dish, we shared a Grandma pie and it was humongous but every bite was so delicious! . That's also coming from a New Yorker! I dined in on a Friday night. We had the falafel as an appetizer, fettuccini alla funghi and chicken balsamico sandwich as a main and tiramisu for dessert. The falafel was surprisingly delicious for an Italian restaurant. The herbed spices were strong, the crust crispy, with roasted red peppers and a cheesy filling. My fiancée had the sandwich with a side of truffle mayo, he said the sandwich was delicious and packed with flavor. The fettuccini portion was huge and came out piping hot. They did not skimp out on the mushrooms or the truffle essence. It was fabulous. The tiramisu was beautifully presented and tasted exactly as I was expecting for a nice sweet ending to my dinner.
