I have worked with Mark twice in the past year. Mark is punctual, reasonably priced, professional, polite, and honest- everything you want in a contractor. Completed works: - rain gutter cover install - lights install - garbage disposal install - drywall hang and texture - toe plate install - dishwasher install - doorframe repair Highlights: - When install the rain gutter covers, I requested to only cover my side of the joined units. Mark installed all the pieces he purchased, which is more than my side. It's a simple gesture, but it shows his above-and-beyond character when he could have returned the extra gutters for money. - When Mark was uncertain about the dishwasher installation, he called and did his research instead of just give up and leave the project undone for the home owners. I really appreciate that since most of us probably hate hiring 10 contractors for 10 jobs. Would totally work with him again when my house needs repair (but hopefully not). read more

Mark and his team are among the absolute best in town. When our pipe burst during the 2021 winter storm, these guys did an incredible job putting in new dry walls in our master bedroom. On budget, on schedule and always responsive. When we had a smaller water leak this year, once again, Mark was to the rescue. We've worked with more than a handful of contractors before, and we can say by far MP Drywall's Mark is the best of the bunch. We had gutted a room and bathroom for mold remediation and hired Mark to put everything back together, which included drywall, bathroom tiles, shower, fixtures, custom cabinetry, etc. Mark's prices were fairly reasonable when compared to others, but what really stood out about Mark is the way he communicates, responds, and handles matters as they arise. We left Mark and his team to work on all the repairs and remodeling while we were in California for a couple of months, and we were worried at first about how working with a contractor remotely would turn out. We're happy to report that Mark exceeded all our expectations of a contractor. He was communicative, patient, and honest throughout the whole process. Along the way, Mark would inform us of things around the property that needed attention since we were not around. For example, there was an ice storm that wreaked havoc to all the trees in our yard; Mark proactively took pictures and asked if we wanted it taken care of. Another example would be when we ordered floors shipped to the house, but the floors ended up slightly different from the existing floors, so Mark thought of various thoughtful and cost effective ways to make the floors blend without us having to completely tear up the existing floors (5,000 sq ft worth!) - he ended up staining the new floors to be similar to our existing floors such that they blended precisely. We received a status update from Mark almost on a daily basis, which we really appreciated being so far away and not able to monitor the progress. Mark also hired cleaners to clean the house prior to us returning without telling us because he knew we wanted to come home to a clean house (a very nice touch). After returning home, we had a couple of touch ups needed here and there, and Mark sent his team out right away to take care of things. Overall, I would highly recommend Mark for general contracting work. It's rare to see contractors so honest and patient with their customers, and, as such, Mark definitely stands out. read more

We recently bought a house and the previous owners allowed the back garage wall to nearly succumb to water damage and termite damage. The bottom of the wall was in terrible shape when we got into the house and Mark was quick to come out, look and give me a quote. I appreciated that the job wasn't "too small" for him, as it was only a portion of the back wall that we wanted to and could afford to fix at this time. He was flexible as we dealt with flooding in our home and had to move our project date and punctual. Mark is a true gem of contractors. I recently hired him to refinish a garage conversation turned living room in my home. He promptly provided a quote and stayed true to the timing and cost. I also added in several other small projects to his list and he completed them quickly and for a fair price.
