Had a error code on my refrigerator. Called the Appliance Coach and was told it was the condenser fan. I gave them the job. A different guy showed up than the one I talked to on the phone. This repairman that showed up diagnosed the refrigerator and told me it was a clogged water filter. Strange as the water filter has 0 to do with the error code. I trusted the repairman and he provided a replacement filter. He removed and replaced the filter. Cleared the code and charged me $150. I tipped the guy what money I had in my pocket. I go to get a glass of water and noticed the water stream was low. The repairman damaged the filter housing and flooded the inside on my refrigerator!! He had the audacity to not repair the refrigerator, damage the filter housing, and then charge me leaving me with a second issue!!. Lesson learned here, just call the manufacturer of your appliance. Let the pros fix it. LG sent there people and fixed EVERYTHING for free! I had one year warranty on the fridge but some items, like the condenser may have additional warranty. They were nice enough to replace the broken filter housing at no cost!. The owner of The Appliance Coach stopped returning my calls about trying to resolve the issue and ordeal. CALL THE PROS and stay away from this place!! Shameful business. read more

Then I get a text from them at midnight one day as i am sleeping saying a tech will be there that day. They never even asked when i would be available, they just scheduled it. Who does this? I kept his name and found him on Facebook a year ago when I discovered he had left Corporate to start his own business. He's very honest, thorough, and because he is self-employed he takes pride in his work and is not just an hourly wage technician coming out to fix something. He'll spend as much time with you as needed and give you a lot of pointers on extending the life of an appliance. The washing machine has been on the fritz for the last couple of weeks. I called up Patrick thinking that I would have to schedule a service call. The two times he serviced my refrigerator, he was very accommodating about scheduling appointments, both times fixed it at a very reasonable price, and left me with information on how to maintain it. You can ask him anything and he has an answer for it. He doesn't just come in and complete the repair - he leaves only when you are assured that everything is working as it should, and that your questions have been answered. I'm not just writing this because I genuinely like the guy - he really knows his stuff! At his last visit, he let me know that he could have repaired a washing machine I had just gotten rid of . . . it probably would have lasted years longer if I had only called him. On the first call he fixed a tricky problem with the ice maker that keep coming back. Patrick is a master appliance technician. He knows what he is doing. He has repaired my Whirlpool Cabrio dryer. The felt belt surrounding the drum kept failing after multiple repairs from factory techs. Patrick spent the time it took top properly glue the belt in place. No issues since. We also had numerous issues with ice build up in the ceiling of a previous refrigerator. Patrick correctly diagnosed the issue which ultimately led to a buy out from the manufacturer. Had to use Yelp to locate an appliance repair shop to fix my washing machine. Several businesses responded to my request. Just to come out and give a quote would cost 50 to 100 dollars. I received a call from Patrick who is with "The Appliance Coach ".He did something that was completely unheard of. Over the phone he had me describe the washing machine issue. He explained what was causing the issue and verbally told me how to fix it. He offered to come out but also gave me the option to fix it myself. I followed his exact instructions.
