If you're into a super authentic and fun Chicago experience, this is your place. Found this amazing hole in the wall after a guy at the airport recommended "Chilis or Applebee's"(HAHA) to watch our big game after getting into Midway. Yeah Right. So happy Yelp led us here! Amazing atmosphere, wonderful local people, cheap but delicious drinks and the owner behind the bar telling amazing life stories. Plus TONS of huge TVs we watched the Game on! Best little hole-in-the-wall around Midway! They have cheap drinks that are good. It's a small place, not a lot of seats and no kitchen but they let you bring food inside. It's all about the drinks, music (provided by a electronic jukebox) and good company and conversation. read more

Great tiny dive bar next to midway. Im born and raised in da neighborhood and have been drinking with Andy for the past 10 years. It's always a crapshoot walking in there but there's almost always a crowd. Drinks are prolly some of the cheapest you'll find in the city. He makes a couple signature drinks and shots that are yummy. Very eclectic mix of people from locals to city workers to the airline industry. Don't get your hopes up like your going to a club. It's a shot and beer joint and they're about having a good time... ALL THE TIME!! read more

Great local dive bar! I'm working at the Midway Airport for a month and this is were a lot of the airport personnel grab a drink after work.

The atmosphere was reminiscent of somewhere I had spent years learning each customer and employee. However, I've only been here one time. This was immediately the most welcoming establishment I have ever been to in my life. Danny was attentive and friendly. I will undoubtedly come here again just for the atmosphere. We went to this restaurant because we had heard good reports, and the place was packed. We were seated in the outside area which was a relief as it was a bit noisy & claustrophobic inside. I was disappointed with the quality of the seafood. I had scallops which were large but a bit chewy. Overall we thought what was possibly good seafood was ruined by heavy strong flavoured sauces. Definitely overpriced for the quality of the food. read more

The bar has been non-smoking for about 3 years now since Cook county joined the ban of smoking in bars. Wednesday and Saturday nights are now "Red Solo" cup nights with a dj that plays variety of music. It's a good time, so check it out. Rating 5 Stars based on the exclusive type of business this is, a dive bar, frequented by locals. I'm staying at a hotel, in the block of hotels, just south of Midway airport, and our bartender at the hotel, (closes at 10) recommended Mr. C's for a hometown bar feel. We were not disappointed, even though the place was packed and definitely had that local "dive" bar feel, the one and only bar tender, Danny, was able to efficiently serve everyone in there, and the other (mostly local) patrons were extremely friendly and hospitable, especially on the billiards table and dart board. Don't be afraid to get up close and personal with other customers, as space is limited. There is no dance floor, and no DJ booth, just a bunch of people having a few drinks after they get off work, and having a good time. Would definitely recommend for long layovers at Midway, or a late night Tavern for those spending a night or two at the hotels in Bedford Park. I travel for work, and have been to many bars like this, I was completely dumbfounded that one person could manage so many people at once. I don't know Danny, just met him tonight, but he is a true Bar Tending professional, so long as you don't order any of those foo foo fancy drinks that you pay $20 for in Down Town Chicago, J/K he could probably manage those too, but this is more of a beer drinking, liquor shooting bar. read more
