An attendant from my work building shared with me their favorite donut shop in Pasadena. Drum roll please... presenting Mr Goods Donuts Shop! My very first visit at this shop. It's located in a small plaza on Colorado Blvd. Free parking is available. Inside space is comfortable with some seating. Tina, the owner, is a very friendly and nice lady. She packaged my two boxes of donuts swiftly. I got one dozen of mixed standard donuts such as glazed twists, chocolate twist, maple bar, vanilla cream, cinnamon round, etc for $22+. I got one box of larger sized donuts... glazed twist, tiger tail, cinnamon roll, cinnamon twist, and apple fritter at different prices from $2+ and up... btw, they were huge donuts! I brought the donuts to work to share with my colleagues. I tried the glazed twist because it's my favorite donut. It was good on the day of purchase, but then on the day after purchase, it became very oily. As for the larger donuts, I really enjoyed the tiger tail the most... chocolate and cinnamon combination was delicious! Cinnamon twist was good, too. I would definitely come back for more tiger tail and cinnamon twists. Tip of any day, eat your donuts while it's fresh!

Stopped here on New Years Eve and bought a 1/2 dozen donuts a combination glazed and cake donuts along with a cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun was soft and just enough glaze. The old fashioned are huge, rock looking donuts, quite a bit of donut but delicious( we were all sharing donuts). Since they are on the Rose Parade route Mr. Goods is open 24 hours New Years Eve and Day for those overnight revelers who stake out their street side parade watching 1-2 days in advance.

The smell of fresh coffee and fresh baked goods is enticing for almost anyone. I recently started coming here again and thought I'd share my review. The young lady behind the counter is sweet , kind and almost Always has a big warm smile, perfect when I am ordering something sweet and warm for my stomach! Located in a small shopping center, parking can be tricky but worth the maneuvering. I love baked goods, the simplicity of a plain donut lets me know whether I should try more or find another place. Mr. Goods donut doesn't disappoint. A wide variety of tasty treats, just there early as they do sell out and I imagine because of that they have cookies, and now breakfast sandwiches. If the coffee runs low they are quick to make a fresh pot! My go to these days have been the old fashion and buttermilk donuts.

Mr Good's Donuts on East Colorado Boulevard near the intersection of Allen Avenue in Colorado Boulevard is a great way to start your day. They have everything you need to wake up. Good coffee. I always enjoy looking at their fresh made donut/pastry display. I'm partial to a good tasting apple fritter. I often buy a plain croissant to warm up and eat at home. The croissant is also great to make a sandwich with leftovers I have in the refrigerator. Cinnamon rolls and glazed donuts are other favorites of mine. They had a steady stream of loyal customers that came in to pick up their order while I was there. There are a number of high top chairs with a counter by the front window, where you can enjoy your coffee and pastry. They also have some tables available. I love walking to Mr Goods Donuts on a nice day. This small strip mall has some nice unique shops. There is plenty of available parking, right in front of the store.

I was not planning on stopping by the donut shop but the cute sign and the smell of the donuts drew me in. The worker was super inviting and had a conversation with me about exploring the businesses around her as well which was made the experience that much more enjoyable. The options that they had during lunch time was not a lot but that was to be expected with breakfast already passing. I was lucky that they had one more maple bar which is my go to whenever I go to a donut shop. It was sweet but not over the top sweet and the dough was slightly crunchy with the right amount of softness to it. It was definitely one of the better maple bars I have had. Overall the experience was super enjoyable with it being a spontaneous purchase and I do not regret going in to buy the donut! There was some seating as well so it is definitely a spot where you could sit and eat your donut or croissant sandwhich! Would defiantly come back again if I'm in the area!

Mr. Goods Donuts Shop offers delicious donuts at a great price, though they weren't as fresh as hoped. The fast, friendly service with a smile makes the experience enjoyable.

Glazed. Oldie but a goodie!

Mr. (or maybe Mrs.) Goods definitely has the goods on how to make amazing donuts! When we pulled up to Top Restaurant, I was thrilled to see that right next door was this donut shop. I love small mom and pop donut shops! Don't get me wrong, I do love me some Hot Now Krispy Kreme glazed donuts that just come off the line because they melt in your mouth but a lot of the other chains, their mass produced concoctions cannot match the goodies made by a good local donutier (not sure if that is a word but it should be), and Mr or Mrs Goods is one of the best! The only person that I saw there was a small Asian woman, no sign of Mr Goods. We ordered the glazed and the chocolate cream filled donuts and Mrs Goods suggested we also try the old fashioned donut. Not in a pushy way at all; she just said our choices were good but people love the old fashioned. Very smart sales strategy; start off with a compliment and then go for the kill. I know what she is doing but I still fall for it. The glazed donuts are so fluffy and has the perfect amount of sugary glaze (a lot). The chocolate cream filled are bites of pure joy. The old fashioned has more cake-like flavor and consistency, and has a sugar glaze. The deliciousness of the sweet on top of sweet challenges the notion that you can have too much of a good thing.

Mr. Goods Donuts is under new ownership. I had the turkey ham and cheese sandwich. I highly recommend this place. Great job

Donut holes and a cinnamon roll.

It's a solid donut shop. Small mom and pop style place. Nothing fancy or over the top. They have your classic donuts (glazed, sugar, old fashion). I'm a fan of some of these gourmet donuts but sometimes you just want a traditional simple glazed donut. I picked up some donut holes and a cinnamon roll. It was a little greasy for my taste but not the worst I've had. Despite being a bit greasy, it didn't have that stale grease flavor that gets trapped in the bread. It is cash only but prices are very fair. I got 6 donut holes and the cinnamon roll for $2.50.

Plain glazed donut. Very soft, moist, and fluffy

Not much of a selection. Donut was kinda stale. Expected more since it was rated 4 stars - national donut day was not satisfying!

No frill mom and pop donut shop. The donuts are fresh, huge, pillowy and perfectly sweetened. I always stop by whenever I am nearby.

I wanted something special that couldnt be found anywhere else which is also very picture-worthy. Luckily other reviews and pictures of donuts from this shop led me to going in person to check out the goods and placing a huge order. I was firstly looking at the online menu, and I couldnt find that giant donut, so i called to ask for help and clarify which one it was so i can get them. The person who answered the phone at the time was super helpful and even saved me a texas donut when i mentioned i was coming by in the next few minutes. When i arrived, i knew it was going to be special for the people im sharing this with. When ordering online, the one i wanted was actually marked as "Out of Stock" (Texas Chocolate), so i made a note that i wanted a different donut using another donut that was still available to order (Texas Glzed). When I received my 14 boxes, it was the correct one that I wanted substituted. They were nicely organized and it presented well. Theyre not stingy with the toppings either. You really get a good value out of it. The staff was really friendly too (why not? it smells wonderful inside). Definitely two thumbs up for me especially with large orders.

The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. There is a wide variety of sweets to pick from and everything is gluten free which is great since I'm trying to cut back on the gluten. The lady behind the counter is super kind and helpful in sharing her favorites and best sellers. I opted for the double chocolate donut and it was good! The donut itself was a bit dry but the glaze on top overall saved the donut. I know gluten free treats are often drier than normal so my expectations weren't too high. This is a cute little spot to sit down and chat with friends. The inside is super clean and the silverware gave a nice afternoon tea feel. I would definitely come back to try more of the goodies they have here! Hopefully next time I can try their breakfast items. They must be so good since they sell out quickly haha.
