Found this gem of a donut shop when I was looking on yelp for donuts at 3PM on a Sunday with easy parking and no lines. This place is a humble mom and pop donut shop near PCC, and they're original glazed donuts blew me away. They were so fluffy with the perfect ratio of dough to glaze. Typically, I don't gravitate toward the basic donut, but sometimes you have you to try out the most basic style to see how good a shop really is. We also tried their custard filled and chocolate cake donuts, which were good as well. But the star is definitely the original glazed. I decided to go to them for 12 dozen of donuts for a party and everyone loved it. I had 6 dozen of these sprinkle donuts and I wish I had all 12 dozen with sprinkles. They were extremely friendly when I asked to order these donut holes and the owner even brought out different kinds of sprinkles for me to choose from. Be mindful that I had to order these in advance so don't expect them to have them in stock but if they're are reading this. If you're looking for a sweet tooth cure and you're not picky, then it's fine, but they're definitely not ideal when you're craving a good donut. One thing I know about donut shops...if they're really good, most of them will be gone early... by like 9a. So, when I walked in and noticed the case was full of donuts like they've only had a few customers this morning - that was a clue that they may not be too good. There were also no other customers in sight. My observation was on point. The donuts looked good but they tasted day old. They were fluffy but with an almost stale texture. The glaze was good. It wasn't too sweet but I prefer a more moist dough with original glaze. It must have been the owner who came out. He was kind but put my donuts in a bag that was a little dirty. It had like old sugar crust and dry coffee droplets. I understand that businesses everywhere through the pandemic has not been the usual. I wasn't expecting bells and whistles. It's cute and simple. Has more juice in it than most boba tea shops! The donut and bar I got were soooo soft and yummy. It's doughy and spongy, and not killer sweet. They weren't that stale either, as I was expecting them to be. Knowing that they open at 5am... The donuts are just the right amount of sweetness, so not super sweet. The dough is very airy, and the perfect amount of chewy. My idol Tiffany Ter lives in this Donut Shop. She makes the best donuts and gives huge discounts if you give her a banana. Not even joking. Just walk inside the donut shop and you'll see a dozen bananas near the bottom. She really loves her bananas. Not only that, she's a very kind person!
