cozy.. friendly service…read more. awesome Egyptian food.. must try in cleveland.. also serves breakfast..

I tried one of the Egyptian dishes - kushery ($18) - and it was delicious! If you are vegetarian…read moreand/or have vegetarian friends, I highly recommend this dish. Even as a regular eater of meat, I found this dish so satisfying and filling. In case you don't know, kushery is a whole load of carbs; the dish has rice, macaroni, lentils, a slightly spicy tomato sauce, garlic vinegar, chickpeas, and crispy fried onions. The whole mixture altogether was so tasty, and I would totally get this again. I also ordered the hibiscus punch ($6), which was refreshing and not too sweet. And even though I already had a bunch of carbs with the kushery, I got the Egyptian bread pudding ($8), which was very different from the bread pudding I typically see at restaurants around here. It consisted of toasted croissant pieces that were soaked in a creamy sweet milk; the dessert also came with a bunch of nuts, raisins, and whipped cream. It wasn't as rich or sweet as other kinds of bread pudding I've had, but it was still a tasty dessert. The service was a little slow, so I wouldn't suggest dining in here if you need to get a quick meal. But the food was good, and the staff was friendly, so if you have time for a relaxed meal, give the restaurant a try. Note - there were some slight price discrepancies between the menu and final receipt for my drink and dessert, but I know prices are really volatile in these crazy times, and the price discrepancies were small.

Some places are overhyped... and then there are places like The Crispy Chick that quietly…read moreoverdeliver. Came in curious, left impressed. I started with the tenders, and they immediately set the tone..crispy, golden, and actually seasoned all the way through (not just relying on sauce to save them). Juicy on the inside, crunch that holds, and flavor in every bite. This is what people think they're getting at chain spots, but rarely do. Then came the sandwich & and this is where they really got my attention. Same perfectly fried chicken, layered on a soft, sturdy brioche bun that didn't fall apart halfway through. Balanced, flavorful, and clearly not an afterthought. If you're a sandwich person, don't skip it. The sauces? Worth exploring. They're not just there for decoration & they elevate everything. Now for the honest part: fries were solid, nicely seasoned, but not the highlight. And I wouldn't recommend delivery..this is a "eat it fresh or you're missing the point" kind of place. Service was quick and friendly, and the vibe is simple, no-frills, and focused on doing one thing really well. Final take: Cleveland has a lot of chicken spots, but this one stands out for flavor alone. It's giving underrated gem energy. Pro tip: go in, order both the tenders and the sandwich, grab extra sauce, and don't plan on sharing. Woman owned business as well & they give you a thank you card instructing you to contact the owner directly if there's anything wrong with your order.

Here's your Yelp review cleaned up and ready to post:…read more (3 stars) The place has a bit of a cozy vibe, but the tables were not clean and didn't seem well maintained. The food is a bit spicy and has a style from another country. It honestly feels like a copy of Raising Cane's, but for the same price the chicken pieces are smaller. I also asked to change my coleslaw, but they told me no, which was disappointing. Overall, it's okay, but there are definitely things they need to improve.

At first, when I saw that the Korean fried chicken sandwich was $17, I was slightly outraged,…read moreespecially since it didn't even come with fries or any kind of side. Then I got the sandwich, and I was like, actually, $17 is a more than fair price, LOL. For a second, I attempted to eat it with my hands, but its size made it an unwieldy experience. So I ate it with a knife and fork. And it was DELICIOUS. The sandwich came with a big piece of crispy fried chicken that the bun could barely contain. The chicken was fried fresh, so it was hot and juicy. In addition to being hot in temperature, it was hot spice-wise. It came with candied jalapeños, soy chili jam, pickles, and Sriracha. The spice was balanced well with some nice sweetness and a tasty kale slaw that added some brightness to the sandwich. Even the bun itself was delicious. The place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a few tables if you want to dine in. The water is self-serve. There are cups and a sport cooler in front of the counter.

First time here! I was greeted immediately with a smile and a hello…read more There are so many eateries in this area. Today I decided to try food I hadn't had before. I pulled up the Chicken Ranch menu online and decided I would try them. It is a small establishment. Tables were clean. There is seating inside and two small tables outside for diners. The manager was explaining they make everything fresh and offered to answer any questions I had. I took a look at the specials then decided on a two piece crispy tenders meal. It came with a jalapeño corn muffin. It was 10 dollars and I chose a chocolate chip cookie with caramel and pecans in it because, why not. My chicken was delicious. I chose hot honey sauce because I was curious. It was so spicy and cleaned my sinuses right up. The sauce came on the side, thank goodness for that. The muffin was OK. It would have been better warmed. The cookie: sooooo good. Because I was being nice, I gave my kid a piece, but next time I will eat it in the car before I get home, like the pros do.

I've had some great food inside gas station restaurants, so that fact didn't deter me (neither did my son saying the place looked sketchy). The crispy fried chicken sandwiches rank as some of the best we've had. The $4.99 price is hard to beat in this day and age. The seasoned fries we got were very tasty, but I would have liked them cooked a little longer so they were more crispy. You place your order at the regular cashier, then they call your name when it is ready. It took about 8-10 minutes to complete our order, but to me that means it was cooked fresh! When asking my son what he thought, he kept replying "it's good". If in the area I recommend checking it out. Their fried chicken sitting in the hot window also looked very good. Not sure if I'd risk getting a pizza here or not. Very close to a 5 star rating based on their chicken sandwich alone.
