My session went a bit longer than the allotted hour, as Mike tried multiple alternative combinations of shafts and heads to hone in on the best set for my particular situation - even when he had already engineered a good result. We examined both distance, height of shot and dispersion on less than ideal swings. Fitting off a mat into a simulator is always a challenge and never really accurate in measuring real distance, so we added sample hits with my current clubs to at least show a comparison of results. I felt comfortable enough with the results to purchase the clubs. And Mike also reassured me that PXG would follow through with adjustments and tweaks if the performance suggested a need. Have not received the irons and wedges yet - will update when I have received them and played a few rounds.

I only recently really got into golf and my wife wanted to try out PXG clubs, so we booked a "swing session." My parents have always been Callaway/TaylorMade golfers, so I was a bit skeptical about this brand I have never heard of before. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted and made feel very welcome. They checked in with us while we waited (we got there a bit earlier than scheduled time) multiple times and answered any questions we had. My wife worked with Brendan, but I was put with Brian. Let me say that during the swing session, I was more satisfied with how Brian was as a fitter than how PXG clubs felt. Granted, I am rather new, so I have not swung many clubs, but PXG clubs themselves felt better than my almost 10 yr old hand me down TaylorMade RSi2s, but Brian's insights into club fitting and how to improve my swing left me feeling amazed. And there was zero pressure at all for us to purchase. So both my wife and I booked a full fitting session, with our respective fitters. And when we returned for my full bag fitting session, there was nothing that changed and that is to say it was absolutely phenomenal. Brian dialed in to what configuration would be best for me, even with my inconsistent and novice skill. And again, there was zero pressure to purchase. And he stayed quite late (I didn't know time could fly by so fast), way past the initial scheduled time to help me figure out what would work for me. did end up purchasing iron set and some woods/hybrids, and I am ecstatic to try them out. Being completely honest, as I mentioned before, I didn't feel (probably because I am not at a skill level where I am consistent enough to notice it quite yet) a HUGE difference in the PXG clubs vs the ones I was using. Lost distance for accuracy. I can live with that but have used it 8/10 times out and can't keep the ball in the fairway. Would hit 10 out of 14 fairways with my older driver. Loft was also changed to 9.5 from 10.5. Waist of money and time. Better off just hitting a few yourself than having someone there fit you. Went back to the old club.

Unfortunately, our refrigerator was out of warranty, even though it was less than three years old. I shared this with Joe, and he immediately stepped in to help. After GE completed a site visit and provided a list of required parts, Joe placed the order right away and let me know the parts would arrive on 12/18. True to his word, on 12/18 Tyler came out and spent a good portion of the day repairing our refrigerator. He was outstanding--he took the time to walk us through everything he did, and provided us with some tips on what to do / not to do with the appliance. We couldn't be happier with how this turned out and are extremely thankful to the Poirier team for stepping up and supporting us when we really needed it. In 2022, my wife and I purchased a GE refrigerator and an all-in-one washer/dryer combo. We've had…read moreproblems with both. The washer/dryer required a full parts replacement, and most recently, after waiting nearly a month for a service appointment, a GE technician informed us that repairing our refrigerator would cost $1,500. I spoke with the director of service, who was very kind, but unable to offer any assistance. He even acknowledged that a three-year-old unit should not be experiencing this level of failure. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the experience we've had with Poirier. I understand they are a small business, but I believe they should do more to stand behind the products they sell. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing from them again.

I also wanted to shop somewhere that had knowledgeable experts who could help me choose the right machine and provide service afterward. Norm, the owner, took all of my wants and needs into consideration and recommended two machines. The showroom was full of equipment, and left to my own devices, I would have been completely overwhelmed. Norm explained how each of the two machines met my criteria and, importantly, how each would work with my body mechanics. I decided to wait a week before making a purchase. The couple of follow-up emails I received from ConnectFit during that time were genuinely helpful and solititious. I never felt pressured to buy. When I was ready, their online invoicing process was quick and easy. The particular machine I chose had a few weeks' wait time, but Norm and his team were clear about when to expect it. They followed up a week before delivery and again the day before. Our assigned delivery window overlapped with other family plans, and rather than making us reschedule, Jenn was able to re-orchestrate the delivery so that the machine arrived and was installed an hour before we had to leave. They removed our old machine and installed the new one in less 45 minutes. They even had an extra treadmill mat on hand just in case, which we ended up needing--it was dirtier under the old machine than I had expected! I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with ConnectFit. From helping me choose the right equipment to the communication, delivery, and installation, the entire process was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely pleasant.
