Mr. Kamal's is a snack station located between Asia and Africa within Disney's Animal Kingdom. The menu changes occasionally. When my family and I visited during June 2024, Mr. Kamal offered pot stickers and seasoned French fries. It's a great quick service kiosk that is on the Disney dining plan as well! We ended up trying out their Fried Chicken Dumplings. There were only 3 dumplings, but it was pretty good! The Fried Chicken Dumplings were crispy and quite tasty, especially with the ponzu sauce. It was the regular disney fries which are whatever with some paprika on it. The sauce was just a spicy mayo. Completely forgettable. This is our go to snack when in Animal Kingdom. They are a little pricey but a great snack when you are near Everest. Crispy, crunchy and a great sauce. The fries are exceptional as well, warming though, they are seasoned. Stop for a snack and a refreshing treat and enjoy them by the river overlooking the Tree of Life. read more

I dont know why this place has such good ratings because it is so meh. They're known for their Chicken Dumplings and fries, so I decided to go with both. The dumplings are fried and filled with chicken. It comes with a ponzu sauce that is so thin, it barely sticks on to the dumplings. The dumplings themselves arent that filled and you only get 3 of them for the "low price" of $6.79, which is crazy to think that each one is over $2. The fries are actually pretty good. They're fried nicely with them not being overly crispy and not overly soft. They are also seasoned really well with a side a siracha mayo. The fries are almost the same price as the dumplings sadly. Luckily the line here wasnt long, but I cant see how this place could survive with such average tasting food for such expensive prices. Huh- well. It didn't live up to the hype for me. I came here for the fries. I'm a french fry lover. Honestly, I can find room in my stomach for pretty much any fry. I will go from too stuffed to keep eating to finishing off my friend's fries because I hate seeing them go to waste. With that said, my visit (Feb 2020) to Mr. Kamal's was great- because I had fries. But were they fries worthy of all the praise from food blogs? Nah. They are a tasty snack, cooked well, but they just missed the mark for me when it comes to seasoning and flavor. They try to make up for this with several unique sauces. I enjoyed most of them very much, but I'd rather just have Chick-fil-a sauce over any of those. I recall enjoying the saffron aioli the most, and the kimchi ketchup the least. I'd eat them again if I were in that part of the park and wanting a snack. I really do adore fries. No Tzatiki sauce and no Sriracha ketchup. =( To the side there were four dipping sauces to explore. The Tandoori Honey Mustard was my champion. The fries themselves were decent, nothing special or bad about them. They are skinny and heavily seasoned with a ton of salt so have a beverage around to help wash it down. Delicious! I think Animal Kingdom has the best food of all the Disney parks. We tried the dumplings and the fries. The dumplings were so good, hot and crispy. The dipping sauce was perfect. The fries were also amazing. They come with a seasoning on them and then we got the curried honey mustard and Korean chili ketchup on the side. That's like $2 per dumpling however, it was pretty crispy and tasty. It came with a ponzu sauce. The sauce didn't really make much of a difference in my opinion. Thankfully the portion for fries was a lot better haha. The selection of sauces for the fries weren't that great (sriracha ketchup sauce and some mustard sauce). I've been trying to taste these fries for awhile now but every time I've walked by it's either the line is too long or the store is closed. But this weekend I finally got a hold of these delicious fries! Fries were served with seasoning on it but no sauces. The sauces you get yourself at the pumps. First of all, I love skinny fries that are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Mr. Kamal's have nailed it! And their seasoning is so good that you can even enjoy it without their special dipping sauces. They have three special dipping sauces: Tandoori Honey Mustard, Saffron Aioli, and Spicy Honey Ketchup. Saffron Aioli was my least favorite dipping sauce. It just didn't have much flavor. Don't know it was the batch or this is how it normally tastes. Either way, it didn't hit a home run with me. Tandoori Honey Mustard...oh man I wish I can buy a bottle of this so I can use this in my cooking. This and the spicy ketchup were tied for my favorites. The Indian spices blended well and surprisingly made these fries even more addicting! Spicy Honey Ketchup is I'm guessing the Kimchi Ketchup. When I tried it, it tasted so familiar and it finally hit me why! This sauce definitely uses Korean gochujang as their main ingredient. So if you are familiar with that condiment, then you can get an idea how this tastes. This was also a favorite for me and had a nice balance of spicy and sweet. Overall, I would definitely recommend these fries as a great snack as your trekking through Asia and Africa at Animal Kingdom! read more

In the middle of our tour in Disney's Animal Kingdom I needed a quick snack. So while coming down the pathway between the areas of Africa and Asia. Lo and behold, Mr. Kamal's. In their small menu I went for "Mr. Kamal's Seasoned Fries" for a decent portion of fries its $5.29. The French fries were crispy and it had a good amount of Cajun seasoning. Its topped with Tzatziki salad which is cucumber yogurt. When having the sriacha ketchup it had a medium spiciness to it but, you'll notice its ketchup flavor. At first, I thought the topping combinations was kinda weird, overall it wasn't too bad. The other two options on the menu are Falafel with Tzatziki and Hummus with vegetables and mini pitas. I don't have a clue who Mr. Kamal is, there's no picture or information if he's a fictional Disney Character. I'm guessing its one of those hidden Disney mysteries or probably a random name insert filler that needs to be attached to this kiosk. read more

After riding Expedition Everest, all I wanted was coffee and food. I got the coffee down, so this spot I hoped would have tasty snack food. We ordered samosas with mango chutney and falafels with Tzatziki sauce. Both were absolutely delicious! I loved the mango chutney as it was slightly sweet and tangy with a good texture. It went so well with the samosas. Even when I ran out of samosa to dip into the chutney, I ate the rest of the chutney on its own so as not to waste any that goodness. The tzatziki sauce was light and refreshing and had a nice balance with the wonderful spices in the falafels. This stall is worth going to, and I'd come back when I visit Animal Kingdom again. The only gripe I have is that there's really no seating to enjoy these snacks. They're more like a grab and go sort of spot. We got to this kiosk right as it was opening and the cast members were already on top of it! We got the Seasoned Tzatziki fries and were not disappointed. The fries themselves were crisp and flavorful. The tzatziki was thick and had delicious chunks of onion and tomato. And the sriracha set it all off beautifully! Superb falafel dish at Disney World!! This review is based solely on the falafel I had. Those were so yummy! After a very average lunch and a bunch of other junk food I inhaled from hunger at this park, the food from Mr. Kamal's was game-changing for that specific moment. Though Mr. Kamal's is a walk-up/order window, it was some of the best food I had at this park. In fact, I still think about how deliciously delightful that plate of falafel was + I got to enjoy it with my family, while gazing at the "Tree Of Life", while playing a game of "Eye Spy". They are located in the country of Asia region of the park and there was some outdoor seating for you to relax and enjoy whatever you order from them. Overall, this place is a great option if you're looking for a change from your average fries/deep-fried-something that saturates Disney's parks. Today they had 3 options for snacks- Fries with tzadziki and siracha for ~$5.50, falafels with tzadziki (5 balls for $5), and a hummus platter (carrots, celery, 3 mini pita breads and a generous helping of hummus for $6). They also offer bottled drinks, no alc. We tried one of each of their snacks and I was very pleased with what we got! The price isn't outrageous like I expected it to be, they gave a large potion of yummy seasoned fries with lots of tzadziki and siracha which you could easily split with someone or eat as a meal. The falafel were fresh and tasty with a bit of heat, which the tzadziki sauce helped to tone down. The only reason I gave this a 4 Star was because the hummus to dipper ratio was way off, it needed twice as many dippers for the portion of hummus they gave and for $6 I'd hope for more.
