Tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago and loved it. I has the Lobstah mac and my dad had the cheeseburger mac. Mine was really cheesy with big chunks of lobster and his was very meaty with a pickley flavor I found surprisingly good. Service was good and pretty quick. So my husband and I received a gift card for here and decided to try it out I must say it was a GREAT experience from the start. Friendly, very helpful and didn't mind explaining everyone lol. Convenient! Not too far from my work. You can call ahead, order online, or order at the store. There's also the choice to get the mac and cheese hot or prepared to bake at home. They deliver too! Oh my goodness! Mr. Macs is the absolute most genius creation ever. All of the Mac and cheese is to die for! Cheese burger deluxe Mac is heaven. Tastes exactly like a cheese burger. This is NOT your regular Mac and Cheese. This is a Mac and Cheese HAVEN!! So many types to choose from. My favorite is the Cajun Mac and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. Friendly service. And one thing is that ANY tips they receive goes towards a local non-profit place in NH. The owners are fantastic people. This is the place to eat for ALL ages. You will keep going back often. It was a cold and rainy day in Manchester when my friends and I decided to try Mr. Mac's. As I walked into the small restaurant I immediately smelt Mac and cheese. Since it was around dinner time it was very loud due to the many people that were seated at the tables. However, we did not have to wait long to place our order. There was so much variety on the menu, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. When we finally ordered, we sat down at a table and waited for our food to be served. All of the tables were clean and even though it is a small restaurant there are plenty of tables so that people can sit and eat. Football was on the TV and as I looked around the restaurant I saw pictures of famous athletes along with pictures of employees and happy customers hung on the walls. I could easily see that Mr. Mac's has a warm atmosphere that is welcoming to sports fans of all ages. After a ten-minute wait, my friends and I were served our food. The orders consisted of the Bacon Cheddar Mac, Classic All American, Papa's Mac, and the Blazin' Buffalo Chicken Mac. My friends and I all ordered smalls but were unable to finish our meals because the food was so filling. Fortunately, for us, Mr. Mac's offers take out boxes and we were able to have left overs for lunch the next day. When we were ready to leave, the manager came to greet us and ask if we had a good experience. We told him how much we loved the food and that we would definitely be back soon. He let us know that we can order online and that they deliver. He also mentioned that every Tuesday they give twenty percent off any order to all students. Wow great service! Friendly staff and great food. Even cleaned off our table for us at the end of the night. We waited maybe 5 or so minutes for our medium Cheese Please which gave us time to pick a seat and get our silverware, plates etc ready. Best Mac and cheese I've had in a long time. We first tried Mr. Mac's a couple of weeks ago and I can't wait to go back; we live in Massachusetts so I keep trying to think of a legitimate-sounding excuse to make the drive up (since the actual reason, of course, is to return for more of Mr. Mac's!) We had the Blazin' Buffalo Chicken (one of the most popular, we were told) and Cheese Please! Mac and Cheese dishes and they were superb, definitely topping my list of comfort foods. I am selfishly hoping that they'll open more locations that are closer! Gluten-free/Celiac note: Mr. Mac's has gluten free pasta available and most of the dishes can be made gluten free! Mr. Mac's does have a disclaimer that the gluten free items are prepared in the same kitchen as everything else; I haven't had a problem but definitely ask. read more

You don't often think of lots of options for mac & cheese but this place has something for everyone! In addition to their standing menu they also have rotating specials, GF options, and little/no cheese options. The seating are is very clean but can fill up quick during lunch and dinner. We had heard about Mr. Mac's from an article on Facebook and we're planning on stopping at the location in Tyngsborough but made an early stop at the Manchester location. We were greeted and introduced to how the restaurant worked and asked if we had any questions. I went for the pulled pork small and a kiddie size all American (I love when restaurants allow you to do this!) and my husband went for the buffalo chicken. We were able to get water at no charge (again, another restaurant protocol I like!). Since they make the dishes to order it took a few minutes to get our food but it was otherwise very fast and served in hot skillets. My pulled pork was good and cheesy and my husband's buffalo chicken was good but he did add a touch more hot sauce (which they had available). It seemed like the restaurant owner was walking around bussing plates and asking people how their food was, which I appreciated. There was a mix of size parties and age groups. The atmosphere was very casual and it was the perfect stop on the way home. Food was 4 stars and the service gave it the fifth star! We will be back for sure! read more

In the area for work so I hit Yelp.... a MAC & Cheese place with 200+ reviews at 4.5 stars... YUP, that's happening! Upon walking in, the place had a great vibe and the woman at the front desk was awfully friendly while training a new employee. I was shown the different sized skillets and she helped me choose between the few I wanted to try. I got my drink and headed over to the soda fountain where they had CHERRY COKE. I could've left right there and kept this at five stars... after a short wait of smelling he amazing cheese aroma, my food came to my table... WOW... buffalo mac and cheese perfection. Tangy, not too spicy, delicious, hot... I might take another one to go! I liked that someone was going around the check on everyone as well. If I had to leave one comment for improvement, I'd make the small slightly bigger... but it was probably a good thing so I'm not boated for the 2 hour car ride home from eating too much!!!
