Tried both the falafel shawarma and the chicken shawarma. The falafel was DRY as all hell and absolutely flavorless. Not even edible. No point to even elaborate anymore as it's hands down the worst I've ever had. I make it a point to try falafel anywhere I go so this is really saying a lot. Went straight in the garbage where it belongs. The chicken was edible, but just not good. It taste like grease and it leaves a bad and long lasting aftertaste. I'm assuming they use chicken thighs given the texture and taste. Which I do like in particular dishes. But if you do not state this is the type of chicken you're using and just say chicken.. then people are not expecting it and it's not for everyone. No chance I'd ever order it again. Very large, great flavor (and I am not known to like lamb) and the fries were excellent. The Shawarma salad or wrap are great also. I like the food quality and value proposition of the prices. I think this place was great. It was a good truck but the food was superb. Me and my wife went there on a Sunday night at 9pm and they were done with everything. They had to close for 1hr to restock. The guy and the female was super nice and they were able to make me a chicken sandwich and a salad. I loved it. The chicken was succulent and the salad had a nice tart to taste. I'll jump right to the food first which I ordered a 1/2Ib Habibi Burger (Arabic for "my Love", possibly "Made w/ Love" in this context) w/ cheese, grilled medium well-done. It was a giant juicy delicious burger with a Middle-Eastern twang on the flavor. It's definitely a burger you should eat right away, on the spot. The flavor was some type of all-spice/cumin & tasted phenomenal but you have to like lamb too bc it's in there. I also ordered the fries that were remarkably crisp and I think some homemade batter is what gives it that characteristic. Fries easily beats In & Out, Five guys etc. I give it one less star for a couple reasons. When I asked what the mr shawarma special drink is, mr shawarma told me he couldn't sell drinks but this still left my question answered & I just wanted to know what it was! I also asked for a side of mayo but he responded by saying he already put mayo in the burger. At that point I decided not to fight it although I wanted a side of mayo for my French fries...Lastly, Mr. Shawarma needs to hire some people because he was a one man show tonight and that left him swamped multitasking and that delayed our orders. I hope he's ready, because I'm sure with how tasty & generous his food is, it's about to blow up with a line of customers. Also, I know it's probably against his religion but bacon would taste so mouth watering delicious on that burger...
