I had the regular shrimp boil with sausage, corn and and a couple of hard boiled eggs. It was seasoned medium and it was perfect. If you're ever traveling through this area give them a try.

    Large shrimp boil

Customer service lacks. Always get the large shrimp boil, always ask that they Don't put seasoning on top( just like butter and garlic) and EVERY time they sprinkle old bay or whatever they use on it. Every time!! NO SEASONING PLEASE. The shrimp also seam to be decreasing in size. Sad

Good and quick. Mad a quick stop to visit home for Father's Day and I had a taste for a good seafood boil to grub on at the park alone due to "social distancing". I honestly felt like I ate that boil in 17 seconds. Everything is seasoned to perfection. Must try it!

Looks were deceiving. Catfish, hush puppies and fries

While out in Belle Glade for an event I wanted, well I had a taste for some fried fish . So I heard Mr. Shrimps was the place for be. Despite, the few reviews that were not positive along with many that were. I decided to be the judge of it myself. I ordered the fried Tilapia with 2 sides Corn and hush puppies and my friends got the catfish dinner. Several people were inside and they were waiting and walking out with several bags... So we got the food and went to the nearby park to eat. My initial thought when I looked at the fries- was this looks different. Who can mess up French fries... They were crinkle cut and covered in seasoning salt. Then I tasted them and I was a little disappointed. They had a funny after taste and I couldn't finish them. The corn also had a distinctive taste. (Didn't taste fresh) Since the fries were not a big hit, I was looking to knock it out the park with the fried fish.. I picked up a piece and the breading slipped completely off the fish. Not a good sign for me! I finished the one of two pieces as it was paid for and I was hungry. The one good thing about this purchase was the hush puppies.. They were delicious. This would have been a one hit wonder.. if it weren't named Mr. Shrimps. Not sure when, but I will try them again, this time I must try the shrimp . This may be their specialty based on the name.

Such a little gem. I like down to earth people and places, and Mr. Shrimp is both. I ordered Fried Shrimp with 2 side orders of French Fries and Crab Salad. Delicious!!! And the drive from West Palm Beach is relaxing and only an hour. I'll be coming here for a 3 hour lunch again

Everything from the ambiance to the food and even the service was phenomenal. Great dining room area with both an outdoor and indoor bar. We sat with the bartender AB that immediately greeted us with waters and their menu. They are currently running a pick 2 for $15.99 menu that has some pretty great options. We had 2 meals & chose the wings, blackened shrimp po boy with the small gumbo's. Wings were super crispy, juicy, and tender. With a nice light Smokey taste. They buffalo and blue cheese sauce was actually pretty impressive. The po boy had a good amount of shrimp to bread ratio, with a nice sauce included. The gumbo had a deep rich flavor, but was not overly heavy with fatty meats. We were also informed of the happy hour oyster special, so we ended up getting a few of the rockerfella and raw. The rockerfella was amazing with melty cheese, a nice garlic flavor, & served with crispy bread slices. The raw came with crackers, lemon, wine vinegar, and a tasty cocktail sauce. Both were delicious. Marco, the manager came and spoke with us about our experience which really showed the attention to detail this restaurant offers. After sharing our story of visiting New Orleans a few years ago and bragging about the beignets, he brought us 2 out to finish our meal. I have to say, these were better than the ones I've had at cafe beignet in NOLA. They were HOT out the fryer to the point where the powdered sugar was slightly melted. Crisp outside dough but gooey soft in the center. A unreal experience to end a fantastic meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. Marco and AB really went above and beyond to make sure this was a special outing on a regular ole' Monday, and we could not have left happier.

This is special, he is only able to eat after receiving steroids with the chemo dose which allows his tumors to open up enough to get solid food past the obstructions. Explained that he's had the kids portion previously. The bartender rudely replied, "we don't have a chicken breast on the kids menu" and proceeded to curtly list the items on the kids menu insinuating that my husband is a liar and there is no other option aside from "the entree". As a nurse of 33 years I am sickened and appalled that my clearly sick husband would be treated this way by anyone. Have a great day yourself Charlie. The highlight of our visit was definitely our server, Danielle she was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service from start to finish.
