On Tuesday they have select subs for $3.34 after tax. Your choices are tuna salad, turkey, or ham sandwich. Lots of bread options. They give 2 slices of meat, a slice of cheese, your choice of toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, green peppers, olives, pickles, etc), dressings (ranch, thousand island, Italian, chipotle), mayonnaise/mustard/spicy mustard, salt/pepper/olive oil. Very customizable, easy to order, and gives you the option if you wanted the bread grilled. Not a bad lunch for $3.34.

I really enjoy the food here. The sandwiches are huge, the food is very fresh and the staff is so friendly. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Its my go to place for my sandwich fix

Delicious, hand-crafted designer sandwiches by an incredibly humble and down to earth married couple in this super clean restaurant off Bissonnet and Boone. Once you eat here you will understand what inspires excellent quality service and product. The gentleman behind the counter made it a point to acknowledge his appreciation for my business in such a way that I will never go to another sub shop again. You just cannot beat such service accompanied by such a delicious product. They genuinely want you to come back again and again and support this small business and I will do just that. I went for the one sandwich that stood out to me because i did NOT expect it to be on the menu, the Pastrami + corned beef combo sandwich. Once he sliced the meat right in front of my eyes and went to prepare it in the back, gave me a chance to appreciate how much love and care they are putting into this place. EVERYTHING has its place, neatly tucked and functionally placed. Thier sliced veggies are such a feast for the eyes! There Isent a SINGLE onion slice or pepper out of place. Nothing seems like it's out of a bag. Obviously a joint like this bakes thier own bread. And the end result of all this is ONE DELICIOUS AND HEARTY MEAL! Thier footlong is freaking huge! I think it's bigger than a foot. But it's just soo good. Looks like this is gonna be my new sub joint. I mean, delicatessens ain't got nothin' on Mr. Sub!

I loved being able to see them make the rolls in front of you. The ambiance is super casual and there is limited seating inside. The service was quick and the food came out in under 5 minutes even though they were quite busy. I got the egg pancake and the tao rice roll to share with a friend and both were great! The egg pancake was crunchy and steaming hot. The egg with chives was delicious, and I liked the filling of the hot dogs, lettuce, and chili oil. (7.8/10) The tao rice roll was my personal favorite. The pork floss, lettuce, Chinese sausage, and white sauce paired so well all together. The rice was perfectly chewy and the portion was generous. (8.8/10) Both of these were super filling and reasonably priced (under $13!). For the price point you really can't beat it. I would love to come back and try more.

So glad to hear that one recently opened up in Houston. Would LOVE to take my cousins here one day…read more Environment/Atmosphere - Super crowded when we got here, but the lines moved fast, and there was a kiosk to self-order if you didn't want to wait in line for the cashier. One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat. This has officially won the spot for my favorite boba place.

I came by right before the dinner rush so I was immediately seated at the bar and greeted by the iconic "Irasshaimase!" (welcome in Japanese) by every wait staff so that was fun! The wait staff were very attentive and proactive so ordering the food and getting it took maybe less than 10 minutes. Onto the food: I originally came in because the website mentioned tsukemen and maybe that's my fault for not checking again on yelp itself (whoopsies!) but of course, they did not have it BUT they still had very solid options for ramen. I chose the signature because I wanted to see what Mensho was known for since my family has tried it when they first opened and enjoyed it. The noodles themselves were phenomenal and just the right amount of bounciness and chew. The chicken broth was so rich and creamy, you could pretty much classify it as tonkotsu because of how fatty and buttery it tasted. There was a trio of meats that were delicious but the only one that stood out to me the most was the chicken chashu because it was juicy and flavorful. The eggs, pretty solid and it came with two halves so essentially a whole egg which is my favorite part about eating ramen. The ambiance: it's trendy and aesthetically pleasing! However, it's gonna be busy and loud so if you're expecting a quiet, low-key joint, I would recommend coming in the morning when they open instead of around dinner time. The decor was gorgeous and the music was at a moderate volume. Final rating: I would come again and definitely bring some friends to join in because there's a lot of unique options and unfortunately, I can only eat for one so maybe next time, I'll try their Duck Matcha ramen.
